The servers are known to be unstable, and it’s worse in certain areas of the game and when playing on different device types.
Try joining each other in a different room of the game. If you are immediately split or split again within a few minutes but still see other players afterwards, and you are running with a good Internet connection, it is almost definitely the server’s fault/servers being unstable and not keeping you matched together.

It should not, but they won’t be able to see any of the seasonal spirits on their first journey unless they request a guide. And I don’t know if it’s still a feature, but they may not be able to travel through the tunnels part of the map.

! I can confirm that you can take moths through wind paths without them having completed the story line! If they let go of your hand halfway through they paths they'll usually get flung back to the main island. But as long as you're the one guiding you can take them through the paths without much trouble. Besides the splitting that it does just.. kinda on its own sometimes

Unfortunately, I believe Sky reads your device language only. There is no ingame or app setting to change the language. You’ll have to change the language of your entire phone. (Someone correct me if I’m wrong.)

its up to your preference, there isnt much of a difference. tall is better for jumping and parkour, but chibi is better for Eden bc it has a smaller hitbox and it can do a chibi fall :P

There's pros and cons to both.

Chibi can oob easily, and you can squeeze into some spaces you wouldn't be able to get into when tall. But it's hard to light a lot of things, you swim in shallow water (can't pull out a candle) and you don't jump as far. Water trial is way more challenging for sure!

If you frequently run Eden/Trials do not use the chibi mask/stay away from shortest height unless you’re confident in your jumps. The hitbox in Eden is negligible on even tallest height, but being chibi will make it harder to get through Eden’s water sections and most trials, especially if you’re ubering in the latter.

i also find Vault incredibly frustrating as chibi, the lamps to summon the elevator are tall and I have to fly up to light them

you can stand on the floor, without flying, it will just be a bit slower

You have to relive the spirit in the seasonal area first in order to access the spirit's tree to unlock the hair, which is the 4th side node.

The hair is for season pass holders and costs 56 seasonal candles to reach. You get a starting bonus of 30 candles from buying the pass and can get 6 more a day. That's how you are going to get it within 5 days.

seasonal spirits come with a season. currently it's the Seasons of the Nine Colored Deer. the seasonal spirits you can find in the Crescent Oasis (inside Vault of Knowledge), the home of the 9 Colored Deer.

the candles (regular and seasonal) are one of the main currencies of the game. you use them to unlock new expressions and cosmetics (capes, masks, hairstyles, etc) from the spirits

82 wing buffs = The amount of stars you have as you landed home after reborn.

Alright, you may spent it to open the Wing Buff from Standard Spirit in the realms to strengthen your wings, however, always remember to keep at least 2-3 for the Traveling Spirit.

It's just that you lose Realm wls first, once you've run out of wls from the Realms you start losing wingbuffs

im trying to resist saying everything, but i ll go over the main ones first 😄 so i finished first run and realized this game is meant to be replayed over and over while completing more and more to get ascended candles to get increased rewards after Eden. Once you finish you get to a village where i unlocked a few NPCs but there seem to be missing many. Also when i wanted to know where to go ( press O to call when lost ) it showed me a portal that was not opened. So i used Home, went to do the 9 color deer ( which i learned after is the seasonal event, which makes me more confused as to how to partipate in it ) and now im not sure what to do. Are the Village and Home 2 different places ? How come i can access only 2 areas from the Village but seems like everything is open at Home ?
Im getting confused even more typing it all out now haha

1. Yes sky is meant to be played repeatedly for the ascended candle reward as you've mentioned. These candles can be used for

• powering up your wings (buying wingbuff from spirits/traveling spirts )
• unlocking levels with friends for emotes with them (friendship menu)

So the traditional way is to finish the portals you see in front of you (isle/prairie/forest/valley/wasteland/vault).

Each portal has had its own past seasonal quests + Seasonal location that you'll discover along the way. Those NPCs you saw are past seasonal questgivers

Home was the old 'home', eventually everything moved to Aviary Village. Thats why you can see similarities

When you unlock the Village. It basically forces you to unlock past seasonal quests as well in its story. That's why you'll end up seeing more and more NPCs as you do the quests

Yes, you are right. We could say the actual game is started after you complete the main story (die in eden for the first time).
Reliving unrelived spirits, unlocking stuffs they have to offer, die in eden, collecting candles and wings, die eden, doing quests for various past seasonal spirits, making friends, hanging out with friends, die in eden, exploring odd areas, die in eden again. Those are only a few of the fun.

So in Sky there's a few things that happen over certain times.

• Seasons (9 colored deer currently)
• Events (Days of Love event currently)
• Traveling Spirits (a spirit from an old season that comes at home every 2 weeks so you get to buy some new drip)

You're technically already participating in the Season of 9 colored deer by doing the quests the NPC asks of you

In the Season area (cresent oasis) you'll find 4 spirits. You can relive them and then buy things from them with at the constellation between forest - valley

You'll see the NPC always standing in front of a portal gate, its showing you where the Daily Quest (to get candles) is at

• you get your daily from the statue in the middle of the realms with the (!) icon
• you can get 5 of them per day:
• 4 from daily quests
• 1 from a the realm of the daily

Alright so basically Village is the new Home got it, and for some reason now every portal is unlocked there as well. So from there just run into any portal, finish as much as you want to, gather as many as you can before entering Eden again.

Mmm, in my case personally i collect until theres 2-1 chevron left (those arrows on the candle) and call it a day after finishing seasonal/events to avoid burnouts

For winglight i basically have them after Eden and they should stay with me unless i got hit xD

Its easier to know how much to farm based on if you have any goals/ things you'd like to buy

When travelling spirits arrive you can purchase the emote upgrades of that spirit with regular hearts, and buy their past cosmetics with regular candles. They also each have an wing buff you can buy with 2 ascended candles :] - they don’t offer quests or anything

They are old seasonal spirits that belong to their own past season. After a season ends, every spirits from that particular season will go and we loss the ability to buy their stuff, until they come back as traveling spirit.
They dont give quests. And yes, they are spirit to spend your extra currency to.
