I'm still sad that there isn't a redesign for the DoR pants— a lot of users suggested some great alterations, even i attempted to draw something that while may not make it 100% unique, could be an easy way to buff up the pants even in subtle ways.

they could revamp the forest and eden review stones to surveys that they give out sporadically when they'd like an increase in player feedback (maybe during seasons and events) that give us all a chance to respond and have some extra candles too
I mean naturally with beta testers and feedback channels here they probably don't feel as though it's something necessary in game, but it would be nice cause not all players use social media platforms like discord to interact with tgc or share their opinions

I know it'd probably take a heck of a lot of scheduling and stuff but it would be fun for players and I think it would make us feel more connected with tgc and as their whole ethos is around companionship and connection it would be nice to be involved

Not me lmao. I despised the hair ult for Season of Performance (still kinda do) because of how similar it is to the ultimate from Season of (I cannot spell this word for the life of me) Rythym? Rythem? Rythim?

Anyways, I think it's very cruel to new and old players for them to take something from a past season, reskin it, and brand it as something entirely new. I WOULD RATHER THEM ALLOW US TO PURCHASE OLD SEASONS, THAN THIS ABSOLUTE BULLDOODOO.

It feels like a slap in the face. Even as somebody who has never played Rythym. I don't want just a rebranded version of a past season...give me something NEW. I'm not stupid, it's a very blatant cash grab.

i think a lot of us genuinely don't want to name tgc as greedy or corporate— we can't deny they've made some awesome improvements but there's loads of gray areas that could be addressed and resolved if, like what bubba suggested, devs get to sit down with beta testers and explain the entire thought process on what's going on.

i will say, i do appreciate how beta feedback (sometimes) really does have an impact on the game. tgc isnt as transparent as they probably should be, but they do communicate with their players more than a lot of other games do

I've been wondering if there's a character limit in the feedback channel like the rest of discord/is it dependent on current server boosts cause I could probably formulate my feedback into a lengthy but helpful letter first then drop it in there rather than type in the channel directly

I also think beta testers, and even live game players, should not feel afraid to voice their complaints about the game. If we all talk about...how...BAD...some of the descisions being made really are, then maybe they won't pass the final cut.

At first I think the discussions can be a bit heated and come from very emotionally frustrated places (valid) so I think it's always best at least personally for me to sleep on things and have lengthier discussions when I've had a chance to process the latest update announcements first - so I haven't yet submitted feedback but I'm looking forward to after all these discussions

yeah. i've seen a ton of great feedback outside of the discord, and i really wish there was an easier way to communicate that feedback without having to join. and there is definitely a problem with information only being communicated through the discord. the in-game inbox really should be used more.

I've seen certain staff say it in the former regard, I think that's when it comes from a place of caring more than anything else. I don't think staff want to actively tell people not to play their game, especially not maliciously.

Social media is a hard place to leave feedback in general; it gets lost, is viewed by however many hundreds of thousands, is subject to trolls and so on - the best and most logical place to have a feedback option would definitely be in game

i think ingame feedback would allow for younger players to give their thoughts on the game, which is a good thing. currently its impossible for kids w a parental lock on their switch to do medi quests, so they have to miss out on a bunch of seasonal candles. i dont think a lot of ppl would notice this considering most of us in the server are older (or at least old enough to not have a parental lock lol), so there isnt rly anyone to send feedback abt it

Sounds like it was supposed to be available for us to test too, it might’ve been bugged or incomplete causing the candles not yo register (it’s not even mentioned in the purchase screen of the guitar)
As you can see they were already fighting for their lives trying to even get the guitar to appear

They aren't even the originals, is the thing. The price of a triple A game, is what they add up to- For the time, effort, and fighting they cause, we might as well save ourselves the effort of arguing over if a reskin is "good enough, priced well enough, and implemented well enough" and simply add the old ults themselves so that the devs can focus on new cosmetics and new goals rather than trying to scramble with each new reskin of old ults to appease different ideas of what they should look like or be like. So much effort is just used here. Ofc I can understand not everyone may agree but this idea at least feels less like we're going to constantly have to turn around and make sure we have a reskin for each ult, and have massive chats over if they're priced well enough or if they're recolored in a way that honors the original's design. This is SO tiring to imagine...

If you're on the most recent build (189876), you should be able to get it by talking to the NPC in the office corner hallway that also sells the Founder's Pack. You need to click on the chat icon, and then once it finishes going through the dialogue the gift box icon comes up for you to tap. That's where the guitar pack is

I'm wondering why the developers stubbornly refuse to add new gates to the game. Over time, all these seasons get boring, and just adding new zones to existing worlds doesn't help. Here the matter is already in psychology, because if you think about it, what priority will the player have if he is given a choice between: a new location in an already existing world; or an entirely new world. I personally will immediately choose the second option, without even hesitation.

Sorry for a somewhat late ping. Some devices seem to be having problems when using external keyboards, like the Smart Keyboard, in beta. They cannot be used to type anymore, and some keys are linked to Sky’s UI (you can honk or open the emote menu using your keyboard, for example). This doesn’t seem intentional at all - possibly more like something that accidentally slipped into beta, since we can’t use the keyboard to type, nor to actually play the game (or at least, that’s the case for my device + keyboard combo).

So much this. I play ffxiv, which is a paid MMO. When the maintenance exceeds the expected time, they give another day of playtime completely free to players. When the housing system didn't work as expected, they fully halted anything relating to it and gave us now 4 follow ups about it, with an apology from the lead dev, and they are working on getting it working right before they reinstate it again, while making sure the people who got affected by this bug will get what they should

The entire reason the game even exists is that the original one was awful, they shut it down and replaced basically everyone on the team, and in just around a year remade an entirely new MMO on the same basis. I know this is a bit weird to dig up again now, but I always loved Journey and sky is just.... feeling worse and worse as time goes, honestly

If an MMO's biggest controversy is that the housing system bugged out, a much smaller game struggling to even compensate for literal game breaking bugs which can go out over things people paid for (ap, losing out daily candles because of this) all I can really say is big yikers

The android 8 crashing issue lasted for 21 days, they only compensated for the first 7 where we couldnt log in the game at all.
No support was given after the 7 days compensation, little people recieved the compensation (i didnt), some even recieved on their alt unused accounts. They did not adress the compensation not working either like they did on the little prince.
Support was set to a auto message saying they couldnt do anything, a lot of people didnt finished the abyss due to that :/

i would assume one of the reasons is that they are afraid of fraudulent claims to compensation because they have no means of verifying. while it is a genuine concern, i feel that it is rendered unimportant when the large majority of players is genuinely affected. (eg. android 8 vs abyss)

If they don't think your device is suitable for playing sky, they will probably tell you in one of the updates

The counter is not tied to your access, it’s to build availability

But yes, you’ll be kicked out after an undetermined amount of time, the exact criteria was not disclosed. Being active once in awhile should be enough

ouch, for the crash bug switch players got that (i believe) was only happening to players who used to play mobile but went solely onto switch, one of my friends got compensated but he almost never played on switch while i never got it despite having the bug and contacting support to have my account re-evaluated

the only thing that saved me from being unable to finish flight was i had just gotten a new phone compatible with sky, so i barely saved myself from losing out on everything with it 😭
