I feel like theres a huge disconnect between the theme of days of bloom and its aesthetic though

Sky is what I’d call maybe a modern like fantasy with fancy add ons to fit the world building and theme and when you add something from a like,,, a princess/Disney like fantasy it just feels wrong for it to be there

Assuming the season is like any other normal season, you should be able to still finish the task and get the items even if the season timer runs out. Just that if someone didn't finish the spirit trees by then, they can't get the items and ultimate

The size of the changes is 12mb, your device still needs to apply the changes to your app, so you need at least double the app total size for the update process and verification that it processed correctly.

2.25Gb is definitely not double the app size required to apply a delta update. I mean if you don't like freeing up space each update, you can just uninstall and reinstall to update. A new install shouldn't need more than about an extra 500Mb free over the app size.

I just hope they changed some stuff when they officially released it, i think it ended in cliffhanger because we don’t really get much stories behind the leviathan and the island itself, it’s just us collecting treasure and save our friend. Before this, the tower had jellyfish but now it’s gone. It’s very empty.

I also like being inside the leviathan lol, so i’m still hoping they add that so we can replay quest. I think that is part of the fun too.

its their "thing" since journey, the protagonist takes part in a process, usually causing some changes sometimes on purpose sometimes not, rather than said protagonist takes a hero role and advances the story, which is non-existent in sky because everyone is gone
that's pretty much how all seasonal quests play out

For what it’s worth, you’re not alone in feeling that some of the IAP prices are higher than you’d like to spend, especially when it’s bundled with candles that you don’t personally value. The devs have previously mentioned that they’ll add candles to the pack if they feel it appropriately sweetens the deal, but that taking away the candles won’t change the price point of the prop itself. You’re welcome to leave your thoughts in #beta-feedback , but they’ve traditionally never really budged on IAP prices since it’s their right to set the prices of their items as they’d like — there’s not a whole lot we can do about it beyond either voicing our feedback or not buying if we’re not happy with the offer.

iOS gets an overlay that prevents you from being able to move when it doesn't detect a wifi connection, yes. Android doesn't -- they get a periodic pop-up that they can dismiss, but their controls aren't blocked while the pop-up is down

When I turn on Airplane Mode, I have a few seconds available to move. It still doesn't change anything about the manta, though. This quest is really badly designed. It's just like the manta one in Forest. Did they learn nothing from that?

Guessing there're some checkboxes they missed or some design oversights they need to finetune

Yes, I can also see the dark plant, but the moment I am able to move it disappears. So nope, doesn't work. It shouldn't take multiple work arounds to complete a quest. They really need to find a fix for it.

It'd be similar to old seasons where AP players have a larger choice of styles considerably sooner than the free players, particularly with ults not having a known return date as of yet. I don't think it's been since Belonging where AP players got access to something with a huge gameplay advantage that free players didn't (i.e. the bonfire, which didn't have a close substitute for a very long time)

Well see that was the main aspect of the debate, sky is meant to be for everyone so having an item that adds, while it doesnt seem like much, but can be the difference between drowning or not, to the breath metre, it kind of goes against the whole idea of sky. I get that its confusing they both give the same amount, but again its a) v e r y hard to make everyone happy and b)hard to make decisions like this and trying to avoid arguments

Then again, it doesnt really matter to ap players if theres a free version of the same mask, I get the sp for the extra cosmetics, I dont mind if one cosmetic can be gained for in game currency's that's the same as an ult cause i believe that's fair.
Tgc had lost of argumemts in the past for creating advantageous things like the fireplace, and so for a long time we saw no ults that gave ap players advantages, as sky is meant to be a place for friendship, and that shouldn't be divided by a gap between f2p players and p2p

it's very unsettling, beware. the most scary parts are a cutscene though so you can look away/turn the volume down

I dont think its solely a device problem, it could just be glitches messing with the game, and may have nothing to do with devices. Best to report it and explain anything that may have triggered it (tabbing out of the game after activating the quest, offering an action to a friends....etc.) as anything like that may be what's causing it.
Do remember this is beta too, and were jere to test content, not just experiance it earlier, so bugs- and a lot of em- are bound to pop up

There were lots of players close to the manta when I got there, they were already burning the plant. No one could burn the manta... We just used our tables to try to find a solution! Then I did the quest two more times and there wasn't a plant, just glittery manta and the corpse!

Yeah the pity room event is currently server mergeable which I assumed it shouldn't be (e.g. Dark plants on last Flight quest)
Once the plant is burnt, we can't interact with manta anymore.

We now have to manually disconnect from server during event scenes for a workaround, until the problem is solved in further updates!

A known problem. Quick fix, restart Sky, redo the quest till you are about get eaten by the King Krill, during that, turn off the internet till, after you are in the pity room, you can burn the dark tree and continue.
