The word glitch is usually used when an unintended game state is achievable, due to an unforeseen issue in the game's code. It's a bug in constellation.

Seen in the #news before season of flight released there was a big fluffy bird featured behind the light whisperer. This was the same species as the bird from the season of rhythm finale.

Two chaotic gays after seeing it started theorising that the big bird might be added to the game since it is featured. With high hopes and decent memes they started hyping up for the bird posting raccoon and birb memes for Ktjn and Ash, while waiting for 0.15.5 to arrive.

Sadly the bird is nowhere to be found now so those 2 gays are causing arson all over the hidden forest in hopes of numbing the pain.

If you're in Live, the tunnel to the forest cavern is already open. It'll be used for one of the quests. For the whole wind path, we'll just have to wait as the quests get unlocked. A few of them utilize the windpath itself, and they'll open up

it's the same build with a different version because it can take apple several days to approve the new version. so instead of making iOS people wait several days we sneakily released it as a 15.0 build until 15.5 was approved. so folks recall any incidents where google got to test right away but iOS folks had to wait, that's what was happening behind the scenes. we tried to avoid that this time around. by "version" i mean "atch number (e.g. 0.15.0 or 0.15.5)

Please fill out a bug report with your device information that the bot requests. Also, please keep in mind, devices that didn't come preloaded with Google Services from the manufacturer most likely have a missing library the game is looking for, causing it to crash. (This means your device isn't compatible for the game)

I would also double check if there is an update for Google Services since the last Huawei device that was compatible with Google Play Services would be over two years old by now, so hopefully an update to the services might fix the issue. (Any device released after May 2019 by Huawei will not have Google Services pre-installed)

It is an issue with Beta, but it could be a feature they added that utilizes a new library call in an updated version of Google Play Services, so making sure that is up to date would be the first step to make sure nothing software side on your phone could be causing it. Edit: also making sure you pass basic attestation (CTS) would be a good thing to check also. (Any safetynet checking app on the play store can check this for you.)

A good thing to check is making sure Google Play Services is up to date. If you're on an older version, there could be a new verification call added to the game causing the crash. I appreciate it but I guess then we should have some extended pages on our constellations because the current limit is causing much inconvenience for anyone with more than 72 friends. With around 100 friends, I find myself everyday blocking then unblocking people just so I can light them all. And I think I am not the only one suffering this. I think suggesting a “light all” option defeats the personal connection we have with friends, so asking for extending limit of friends display isn’t too much of a stretch?

Ktjn, I've heard rumours of an underwater season coming soon along with a diving feature (there is a bug where an icon changes when you're on water, people are saying its a feature that's bugged) Is that true?

I handle almost all of the takedowns for hacked and leaked content, it's incredibly heartbreaking to see people reveal stuff that's not ready because their either lack fulfillment in their real lives so they look for quick hits of dopamine (in the form of likes/shares/views/etc) to feel better about themselves or "stick it to evil TGC" or be "first" to show off new stuff before anyone else. It hurts the development team's morale and honestly spoils the extremely joyous moment of getting to show our players all the really cool stuff we work long and hard on and hope you enjoy playing through as much as we enjoyed making it.

For iOS, yes, inactive testers get removed from the program. From what was relayed to us, there isn't an option like that on Google's Play Developer dashboard, so Android users won't get removed if inactive. They would need to select the "leave program" button.

Changes is part of it (but that mostly applies to charts) the big thing is due to the limited number of tester slots, there were a lot of requests coming through and people being pretty rude at times if someone ignored the request (it's also not a tester's responsibility to take or honor those kinds of asks, especially when you can scroll through the #beta-screenshots-videos channel freely and find almost everything already being shared) so we decided to no longer allow requests of any kind. it alleviates the expectation that beta is "early access" or a "sneak preview" which is not the purpose beta is meant to serve.

It's totally okay to be curious and ask questions, but it's not okay to make demands of fellow community members.

Keep in mind that beta is in testing, so everything in there is not safe... TGC might even do a full data wipe. It's your decision of course, but I'd strongly recommend to play the live version since in beta it's not uncommon to miss things due to bugs or changes, the way I understood.

Not to make assumptions, but attempting to rule out possible contributing factors: Sky Beta is not available in China, so if anyone from that region is trying to access beta directly or using a VPN, this will also create issues. We are using the some newer tools Google provides to verify legitimate copies of the Sky Beta app.

Unfortunately it appears to be some sort of issue with devices not being recognized by Google's security checks that the copy of Beta has been tampered with in some way. This can include third party installations, rooted devices, out of date versions of certification keys or applications, data corruption during the download process, or caching issues after updating and so on.

As far as I can tell, if it was something wrong with how this check is applied by TGC using Google's tools, it would block ALL android players from accessing Sky. since it's only impacting a very small number of players, I'm led to believe there have been alterations or a missing update on your device that is not passing Google's checks which is outside of TGC's ability to fix.

The only thing I can suggest is contacting Google support.

Google's been putting a lot of effort into improving the security vulnerabilities that come with APKs due to the open nature of the Android OS.

The best I can offer google troubleshooting steps for certification errors, cuz that's what I'm going in an effort to help rule out possible causes. The most drastic suggestion would be to do a factory reset of your device, but I don't recommend that for obvious reasons, and TGC cannot be held responsible for any data you may lose if you choose to go that route. Which is why I suggest doing some personal research and contact Google's support team.

I have a ton of work to get back to, but hopefully that gives a little bit of direction. If anyone manages to fix the issue, I'd love to hear what steps were taken so I can pass the info along to others, and let our engineering team know there's an issue. So far, they've assured me that things are working as expected, which is why I don't have a lot of options to suggest.

They don't normally go out of their way to give compensation for bugs in beta. They have given compensation sometimes in the past if it was necessary to fix another issue or something like that. And in this case it might help them with getting more data for the inbox gifting feature

I heard they're already gonna implement 3 bonfire style locations after days of feast: 1 on the mountain in Valley Village, one in the Prairie Cave and 1 at the crab BBQ in Graveyard

They're also bringing back the quest-giver from belonging who's gonna cook a meal (wax) for Skykids every couple of hours at the big table in Sunny Forest. It works a lot like the polluted geyser but it's way more cute
