I'm going on an assumption here, but I assume you're asking if lower end devices would be able to play sky in the future. This is highly unlikely. Sky is a very demanding game. It even makes the switch cry in pain with how much it hammers the CPU and in some places, the GPU. If a console with over 1 TFLOP of GPU processing power has issues keeping the game at 60 FPS, I highly doubt a low end Android device would ever run it. (I've seen framerates as low as 17 fps on the switch, like sanctuary islands)

A mobile device isn't engineered to take the SoC being full throttle like a dedicated console should. (I say this, because the switch's cooling solution could be better.) 40+C isn't much. My switch reports 58-64C depending if I throw a fan against the dock or not. (ARM SoC's don't thermal breakdown until over 75C)

When creating season of sanctuary specifically, were sanctuary islands created first and the spirits with the story of the season afterwards or vice versa?

So, this is my confusion in Beta.
Since these 2 days or rather after the latest update, my Beta is consuming my battery more at the beginning. For example, 1% = 3 minutes in live and Beta (before update). But now after login or begin play always 2 minutes. (then back 3 minutes even though it still consuming again after a while )
Note : my graphic only 1⚡
This is very annoying even if it's only a minute and it's still in Beta, it will implemented in Live too, right? If so my game experience for sky isn't enjoy anymore...

The ult winglets don't even sit an equal distance to the skykid's head. One is buried in the head and the other is just floating. I hope they fix this because it looks bad like this. I get their whole thing of wanting to be cute and jaunty as it seems they are averse to symmetry but this ain't the place to do it. And yes, I've filed a bug report, as have others.

it's most likely because the the head accessories now adjust depending on the hair so that they don't get buried (just like in afro), it's rather unequal since not all hairs are equal and symmetrical

But that's not the problem. The problem is with the no hair, and shaved side hairs, one winglet is buried in the side of the head and the other is floating by. It's like one side adjusts so much and the other adjusts ~only~ so much.

My friend has found another trick to avoid krills and it's not using the in game UI, but an external one ( another form of shop trick apparently ) and I'm curious whether if that trick can be patched or not, since it's messing around with your connection to the servers. Bit of advice: get every seasonal candle bunch while the season is active. Most of us have high candle counts due to many seasonal conversions. (Sadly, those of us who had these candles got reset to 200 with everyone else recently, though.)

The main concern is live players who want to see our public discussions. It's already known some live players already claim "why wasn't this addressed in beta, isn't that what it's for?" Now we can't reference conversations of us players addressing this due to it being archived behind an invisible channel for regular users. (A good example of this is the amount of players giving public feedback in that channel about the wind path portals and how confusing they were to initially navigate in.)

There are also ways to deal with unsolicited heart trades; not to mention that getting a heart from someone doesn't always necessarily mean "TRADE WITH ME".
Some users use boats to request hearts from their friends, and others often like to give hearts as a thank-you for something their friend did in-game, such as take them on a candle run or help them complete a daily quest. Others still just like gifting their friends hearts just to be kind! They don't always expect something in return (although it is almost always appreciated)

The easiest thing to do if someone is trying to force a heart trade upon you is to simply not collect the heart. They can't send another one until the current one is collected.
I imagine this would also be possible if you were able to gift hearts via inbox.
Although since it's already possible through the constellation menu (and also easier that way, I imagine) plus they have measures in place to prevent mass sending (see previously mentioned 1-a-day rule) I don't personally see why it would need to be added as an inbox feature.

It would definitely need some rules in place, like, they have to accept it before the game proceeds with any sort of purchase. Maybe even a second confirmation to be EXTRA sure the person offering is still willing to send it?

Temporary workaround is carry... It's pretty expensive to get up that far in friendship tree for a one time event, though. I haven't had carry break except for splits. Still good to test if any #beta-announcements says they fixed the issue and to retest.

Some players who have tested Beta Lightseekers, especially those who have unlocked Jelly Umbrella before it became Lightseekers: Ultimate Umbrella, may have gotten a purple-colored look alike of Jelly Umbrella after they updated Sky Beta (not sure which build) and it just magically turned up on their Item Inventory.
One good example, is the member's name I mentioned on #beta-screenshots-videos which is "Hiddles". I remember they mentioned it one time here, that it just magically turned up on their collection and they said they tested Beta: Lightseekers.

Maybe your friend obtained it legitimately, same way as the above-mentioned member, but it can't hurt if you will report them besides they carefully check every accounts before doing appropriate actions.

Ever since carry has been able to go through transitions, that's all I use and haven't had many issues, unless it was an odd server split. But not keeping carry hasn't been an issue for me. These problems coupled with things like trying to accept carry without having to fly up before hitting accept because the overlay of names and chat are my absolute biggest frustration with the game next to server splits. Whatever they did to the UI, assuming it was gearing the game towards more controller based play, is a nightmare and regardless of it being the bane of players and the subject of countless bug reports and feedback, these problems still exist. Frustration isn't even strong enough of a word,tbh.
Furthermore, having to resort to using the emote menu to deep call or light objects while cr with friends so you don't constantly open the friendship tree is something we shouldn't have to resort to.

(That's how Android users got compensation for the crashes/black screen) The item we received in beta was just a test on certain criteria to see if it worked. (I.E. only users who met the criteria should have received the item)

Because they have really affected my normal game atmosphere. Recently I played with friends, you know sometimes we have 8 people, but there are some stranger who can Piggy back WITHOUT your consent, and our friends can not join us. We HAVE TO go home again and again, BUT they also go home with us and laughed at us all the time, We have no choice but to choose to go offline and wait for 5 minutes. I don’t want to discuss where these hacker got this kind of plug-in, But I just want to tell TGC！：They just said that the reason come to international server and usecheating is that TGC will never ban them, even if they are banned, they will re-open a new account with the illegal client, equipped with all the items, and can do whatever they want (Including piggyback). I know Ktjn said do not pay too much attention to hackers, but I want to say, these hackers have seriously affected me and my friends, I hope TGC can do something with this problem. Because we all love this game, most people spend their time, energy, and feelings here to make friends and enjoy the warmth that this game brings us, We don’t want to see the game gradually decline due to hackers.

Haptics is a little different than vibration. Haptic feedback is the slight vibrations some controllers lack support for. For example, my old Z2 Force didn't support haptic feedback, just basic vibration. (And it's not that old of a Flagship device.)

If you also get haptic feedback lighting candles, burning plants, opening home's constellation plate and lighting friends, you should also feel the haptic feedback when getting crabbed, krilled or pelted by red rocks. It could be limitation on controller or your device or the vibration setting in Sky's "control" settings, or disabled in your device settings under sound and vibration. (if haptics is supported, it should say "Vibration & Haptics" in your phone's setting menu to toggle on or off. Some devices have it under accessibility)

I was testing the haptics, which definitely work fine on my device. I was is the first eden area to take some damage by the rocks.
There i lost wings then the screen turned white and came back with me being fully lit, but not charged and two wings lost. I never experienced that, because i ussualy don't take damage there. Is this supposed to happen?? If so then why is it not consistent? It happned twice and in two other attempts i took damage without the white screen and me being a shadow.

it honestly depends on your aesthetic! they’re both really fun cosmetics, though the withered horns have a more dark/apocalyptic/evergreen feel to it compared to the reindeer horns. the spooky horns go well with warm/black colors (cool colors work too!) and has good outfit potential if you’re leaning towards that! the reindeer horns are definitely taller in size and has ears, though they’re more natural in it’s design/aesthetic. if you’re looking for a more cute/majestic, animal-like accessory this one is definitely better for you. not getting either of them is an option as well if you end up not wanting to get anything!

this is all just my opinion though! take it with like, one piece of salt

That's actually the main way players build up their candle supplies in beta, off of seasonal candle conversion -- makes things a lot easier to manage rather than redoing a long candle run in live as well as beta

after 2 minutes first afk animation will starts, and after 10 minutes "second afk animation" starts and you won't be able to collect lights.
Afk timer reset every time you change map areas, so is no a problem for candles run.

I think it’s more likely only a few travelled there/did not notice when flying there. After all it’s quite well-hidden. They might notice it when they enter Prophecy Cave (it became so huge).

How did you become a beta tester? Normally, you can only become a tester with an invite from this discord server, and invites did not go out today.

found out you can find Sky beta on android by just searching Sky in play store, people can become a tester if there's a free space i guess

Bypassing tester application would considered as illegal way to join beta, there was player who got banned in last ban wave from what I heard

#beta-faq is where you get information about being a beta tester, but that's not where you actually get the invite URL from.

#beta-signup-info is where you actually get the URLs to join and download the beta version, but it is not always accepting new beta testers. On certain days of the year, the developers will post URLs there which will allow you to join and download the beta version, but they don't tell us when they'll post it in advance.

To get a notification from Discord when they post those links, you need to go to #beta-faq and tap the react button -- that will give you a Discord role that will send a notification when they've posted those invite links.

My Japanese friend has the same issue, she has been unable to download Beta even though shes been a beta tester for 6 months already

I can download the beta on my phone, but she's unable. Aka. it says I can download on my phone, on hers it says she's not a beta tester. We have access to the same email

I had already spoken with ThatHelpBot a while back but they told us to speak to Goggle or just wait for the next invite wave.

Which at that time, was the very last waves.

I will keep bringing up this issue until Tgc manage a way to fix it

Google is "slightly" broken when it comes to being able to download the app, it is known that it gives out more tester spaces than people who can download the app. I've had long discussions with one of the Google customer support members, but without any real success. I do not know whether Google is aware of the issue, but they won't admit to the public it exists. Sadly, there is no way to send bug reports to Google, thus nothing we (and TGC) can do about it.

Long story short, I'm afraid you'll most likely have to wait for the next invite wave to get to download the app.

You don't have to leave the tester position, at least I didn't have to when I became a tester. For me, I could download the game immediately when new spots came out.

In the next invite wave: If the link for the Android testing (https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.tgc.sky.android.test.gold) says you're a tester already now, you don't need to use it anymore. You only have to download in the Play Store. But might be that you still have to be quick.
