I do agree though that maybe there could be a better indicator for when there is a new inbox message, because the blinking red dot can be easy to miss if you're not really looking for it or expecting it to be there. A lot of times I click the settings without even looking because it's just an automatic motion.

Maybe if they had a pop-up when you first open the game when there's a new message, something like "There's a new message in the inbox! Do you want to read it now?" and then a check yes or no box. So at least people will know and they can look at it then or later if they want. I should post this in feedback too.

I am late cuz i just started the season, but i want to ask if anyone bug reported stuff like the 2nd quest when doing it with friends? In my case the prince was holding my left hand and i waas doing the quest, but halfway my friend decided to hold me (same left hand) so my prince just let go and stayed static on the ground. i missed the 3rd cutscene and was able to somehow complete the quest when i reached the area before exiting (not the hill, after it near the wl). and the prince cutscene played then he left

This is a some ways to save some candles:

1. Skip some TS that you don't like. Buy only the heart's and Wing buff's for the Ts you don't like. Of course you need to buy the spell first
2. Don't buy other constellation tree if you saving heart's for like a forest Constellation that you need 60 heart's to finish it.
3. Don't been lazy, candle run. If you don't have time just go to realms that have quest and candle cakes. The daliy light will help you a lot.
4. Do the off season quest. The assembly is about to end, the off season quest gives regular candles
5. If you really broke,skip Days of rainbow entirely. Eventually they will came back next year.

Ok, forgive me if this isn’t something that belongs in this channel but I think it fits the best to be here! I want to address my concerns with sky , please let me know if you agree because I haven’t seen anyone else discussing this.
I basically think sky might become too much with seasons and stuff, especially for new players! It will be very hard to navigate the area with so many openings where you don’t know what’s the main storyline and what’s not. I’d get very confused when playing. With this new season I think it’s beautiful! Im a little happier with the pants being available in the pass. My main concern is that adding too many areas will scare away new players and be really hard to navigate when doing candle runs and such, am I the only one who thinks this? Also if sky keeps adding seasons how will that work? ;;

I don't really see the issue, since most seasonal areas are quite out of the way compared to normal branching paths. An example of this would be sanctuary Islands being way off in the distance of bird's nest or Enchantment which is quite a trek to even get to. It would be quite obvious to a player that the area isn't part of the main story.

I remember when I was a moth I didn’t even understand seasonal events and how they were different from main story. Why doesn't TGC implement a really usable recent emotes menu? There would be enough place for a recents tab near the emote/spells/stances tab in the emote menu. The current recent emotes part clogs up the emote menu and this UI gives no solution to the ever growing list of (mostly practically unused) emotes.

I think just keeping them monotone would be the best solution. It was an art direction TGC wanted to go with and it fits the narrative. Monotone capes actually change color depending on your environment. I found most of the new season capes have a reddish hue in sunset homespace.

I think that it still incorporates the storytelling through costume and why the muted color tone represents the adult straying further away from childhood wonderment, but if you do something that invokes a sense of childhood goodness perhaps freeing mantas, burning dark plants, liking notes, etc, something cool like you mentioned above should happen to the dark capes like some shimmering effect, similar to a seemingly dull labradorite at first glance, but then it shines when the light hits it etc.

yeah it's a bug, we had a potential fix in the 13.5 hotfix, but it looks like the issue is still manifesting, so the fix was not successful. earlier i mentioned that we cannot reproduce the bug in a dev environment so the fixes we are trying cannot be validated through normal means. the hint text doesn't show up until you're pretty far into the storm area of eden, if memory serves.

Since shrines work and no testing was needed, no, we didn't get a patch note of the changes. Some of us noticed we stopped getting hearts.(You should have seen our test messages and scratching our heads why a 20+ liked message didn't get a heart before the change hit live) Some changes go through that don't need beta testing or beta feedback.

TestFlight will be available for Mac that support macOS 12 (macOS Monterey). Users using M1 Macs can now Test Sky Beta on M1 Macs with no hassle
(This includes M1 MacBook Pro, M1 MacBook Air, M1 Mac Mini, M1 iMac)

Sky Beta will work on M1 Macs only and will not work on Intel Macs since Sky is built on ARM based code and will still use the iPhone and iPad apps on Mac thing to run… so don’t expect Keyboard and Mouse support or full-screen 16:9 Sky on mac

They just recently changed how that works. It used to be that the past seasonal spirits weren't around at all, but recently they changed it so that all the seasonal spirits are now available. You can't get cosmetics from them unless they're the traveling spirit, but you can get their level-1 emote. I think they're planning on bringing it into Live eventually!

There are still some stuff you can test. My friend has been suffering from hand dropping when trying to grab another friend’s hand. I played with this for a bit and my guess is the icon stays on screen even though you’re attached and if you tap on multiple times it breaks the handholding without you seeing it. For me personally it's the opposite at the moment. While I do love reliving Spirits' memories in general every now and then, it doesn't feel as satisfying when 4 of them become daily quests for me due to how much time it takes to get to each spirit and how you don't really get a sense of "completing" something if that makes sense

Yes, others cant see your prince and in some of the cutscenes you are alone with him too unable to see others. At least the first build with working quests were like that. I don’t know how the current one behaves.

Beta is an important second line of defense with bugs because many conditions can't be recreated in a test environment, but only when player numbers scale up.

I’m fairly certain that didn’t apply to the beta, they said throughout the season, and these items have already been tested in the past couple days so there’s not much to gain from staging them out later, I think that’s going to be exclusive to when the official release happens
