I am having problems i have recently deleted sky and now i have re-downloaded it i have logged in to my Game Center account and every time i play i get the trailer for season of assembly and as soon as the spirit walks in to the portal i get this ‘please click retry or contact us the retry and cancel’ what should i do? I don't know about you but I like to vary my outfits. I've been using all the season of assembly stuff which I got the pass for because I liked a lot of stuff behind AP and did't buy season of dreams since everything I wanted was free.

I have bought multiple packs, I have the day of fortune set, and the tea table. I was also planning to buy the little prince AP since i really like the cosmetics

But 70USD is not worth a bunch of digital outfits for a digital character. If it was like 30USD total, then sure, why not, but it's 70USD that is atrocious pricing

I play sky to relax and play dress up because its very pleasing to look at. I want to buy the iAP to support them but if they are going to gouge my wallet, then no. I'd rather just uninstall the game and find another game to run around in and play dressup in that won't put everything behind a paywall.

This is just a game of exploration, it has nothing else going on for it. Why are they charging so much for the extra stuff?

The thing is, it’s a collaboration, meaning TGC and TLP copyright owner BOTH have to make money out of it, perhaps the decision of making the main character cosmetics wasn’t taken by TGC but by copyright owner and it’d be understandable WHY they are IAP, it’s an order and it’s on a contract perhaps, so it’s an obligation. But prices are too high, if they want to keep IAP cosmetics, they need to lower the prices

Also, the TLP cosmetics seem to be the only cosmetics DIRECTLY from the book itself. Everything else has some deviation of some form from the book. I think the cosmetics being IAP is indeed due to copyright. Didn't KTN mention something like this once here? When it comes to collab stuff, even if its free domain in most places, they still have to check in with copyright and stuff since Sky is GLOBAL. And in TLP's country of origin, it's still copyrighted. And it just so happens that the IAP stuff are also directly from the book itself. We'll just have to wait and see for the team's response, so pls be patient

A bit disappointed to hear about there being iap in the next season. Being Canadian, the prices are already pricey, but adventure pass with iap on top of that seems like a lot. I can't really justify spending all that money on cosmetics.

As someone who has played a lot of games that do collabs (sky is a side game to me to relax in). They don't even jack up the prices of their stuff when it's a collab even if they most likely paid more for it.

Both parties benefit more than just profit with a collab, they get exposure and more eyes on their properties. I haven't heard of the little prince before this but now I know it exists and want to check it out. Who knows i might even buy the book and movie.

The collaboration is also an advertisement, which will pay for itself. I would understand if there was a single iAP pack but putting all the valuable stuff that people want to buy as a separate purchase instead of the AP is just greedy

The games industry doesn't really operate by tax laws. Most indie games are made by about 7 developers at most, generally about one or two though.
