Not sure if this was answered yet. I think it works this way (so hopefully someone corrects me if it's wrong). If you have a friend in the blue or green screen rooms, you can control how the camera spins and zoom in/out for them (so you yourself won't see it unless you're the person in one of the rooms)

I am sorry I am not sure if I understand? There is no in app purchase bundle apart from the starter pack and founders’ pack which include candles? They are free because in beta you don’t pay with real money. The only other way to collect candles is by collecting wax daily, and that is free in both live and beta.

Dude, I’ve shut my game down because I went into PNR alone and by the time I FINALLY died two people just came in and it was trying to force me to watch them the entire time. I never got an option to leave them behind. =_= Restarting and using the return shrine worked to escape it, but I shouldn’t have even needed to. This was probably last month or so. To be clear, this happened in live though. I’ve never been in Eden with others in Beta. Maybe it’s different between the two apps?

Either way it’s probably a bug and wish I’d known I would have reported it when it happened.

I wanna be clear again that I’ve probably run Eden a handful of times. Maybe like 30 or so. Probably a little more and 24 or so of those would have been solo runs in Live. Never got that message. I’ve run Eden solo in Beta since I started Beta and that makes up about 3 or 4 times so far and have also never gotten that message. Weird.

It was implemented after the kill switch wasn't too successful somewhere in march I believe. Its only appearing if you are not alone in stormlock and you die way before the others do (5 mins or so).
Anyways it was just strange i didn't even turn into blue light to follow my living friend today.

The other day I wanted to see how long it took me without lighting any statue to recharge energy, it was about 5 minutes. But the server put me together with someone who was just starting out, since his cape looked level 9 and I had to wait for him about 10 minutes and that message came out.

I have heard that there are some people who did play gratitude during beta but it just didnt run long enough for the ult to be possible. so the pendant might be ok?

there was a progress wipe after gratitude and lightseekers but before belonging in beta. people could get the ults during those seasons in beta but all of their progress was wiped after that and they didn't get to keep them. season of rhythm wasn't long enough to complete 100% BUT some people do legitimately have the ults on beta because they got them before cosmetics shuffled around. every other season (belonging, enchantment, sanctuary, prophecy, dreams, and now assembly) has been long enough to obtain the ults and there hasn't been another progress wipe since

There actually wasnt a progress wipe after lightseekers though. I played at the end of Lightseekers in beta, there was no progress wipe
Gratitude ran for a full season in beta, but then had a progress wipe. Then I've been told there was a short period, only long enough to complete 1-2 spirits of gratitude. So pendant might be fine not 100% sure though.

pendent is fine. ultimates for gratitude and lightseekers are not, due to how short they were in beta. rhythm was also short, but due to a cosmetic switch with the ultimates, owl hair and mask are fine to have, but are a bit rarer

some of the light awaits testers still lurk. just not as active chatting since chat gets a lot busier now with more active people (including many who aren't in beta and just wander in out of curiosity. nothing wrong with that but it does make chat nyoom sometimes)

as for reporting people: if you report them and they did nothing wrong then nothing happens to them. TGC investigates every report and they can tell if people did something wrong or not

Hmm I wonder why these seasonal spirit relive quests are being included... part of me thinks it’s to enable seasonal spirit emote collection at any point (instead of always waiting for the ts to come back again)
Another part of me thinks it’s to test the upgraded back items on these spirits

Seasonal quests are dailies, they just stopped at enchantment. The collect colored light daily is Enchantment the regular light is another season. We also tested a couple of Dreams quests... I wonder if we'll get to try the bell quests in the near future.

As the number of seasonal spirits increases, the chances of getting any one spirit decreases :( And since the frequency of the ts is also once ever 2 weeks, it’s not a bad idea to give the base lvl 1 emotes

Exactly, a lot of players including myself have missed out on so many spirits to the point it's becoming unfair to us

The issue I have with voting is that 1) there’s no way to get a real democratic vote on a spirit
2) a lot of people will always vote for more popular spirits, leaving less popular spirits to the end
I feel leaving the voting to the group is likely to make the mix of ts spirits more homogenous :(

Allowing players to choose their own ts every two weeks is most likely very hard to code, so there's no telling if it'll be considered or not

I think the emotes are arranged by their relation to the realms. assembly spirits were intentionally individually related to the elders. I think past seasons were assigned relations with the assembly update.

at least the base game emotes are still by realm. and the past seasonals are no longer grouped together with the same season so that's my guess

It’s easier to remember 5 distinctive groups than it is to remember how many emotes to count to get to a certain emote
I might not know each realm off the bat, but it’s easy to find if I can associate bow = valley
Or butterfly = prairie
Also the realm distinctions won’t change with new seasons either.. so most importantly, I’ll still be able to jump to a certain emote
Problem is, when the realm emotes grow to be too many too
Then, the only easy way to find them would be have sub categories

I totally get that, I wish that the emote menu rehaul will allow us to build those categories, cause I don’t really think some emotes are happy ... example clap lvl 3 and 4 feel sarcastic to me
So, i tend to categorize clap as an action emote than a happy, sad or neutral emotion emote

I too noticed that the prices are starting to increase. But I personally tied it with the amount of daily candles you could get.
For example back then you could only get 15 seasonal candles per day. And now we can get up to 19.

So the prices are adjusted to still feel "expensive" for us if the ts is returning.

But i personally think we won't see anymore price increases (maybe by 1 or 2 just so it's not the exact same) since from now on there's a soft cap on how many candles yo can get daily. No matter what's the possible maximum that the kingdom can give

If they cost ascended candles you'll see that season constellation and a flag. Clicking the flag allows you to see the questgiver for that season, same how the elders appear and you can buy their hairs

The prices were changed due to feedback, initially (at the very beginning of the ts system) the spirits that had come around had cosmetics that cost 36 candles for a pass locked items... this is definitely low... I remember that the “don’t go beg” emote’s cape cost 36 candles... it is definitely on the low end :( so it makes sense why it got changed to 60+
The pricing scheme was changed to address concerns about cosmetics being valued too little — but this was only done for spirits that came in the beginning of the ts system
So, those spirits on their repeat appearance, seem to be costlier, but in reality their prices have just been adjusted.

• ascended candles in orbit
• alterations of the ults (different colors)
• never bring them back at all

The timer has been same so far for everyone from my experience. It gives a nice amount but unless you kinda know when it comes and you aren’t too lucky catching one wave shortly after you go there, its still on the not really worth it side for me wax wise. I mean a full run is 2ish hours and geyser is active in every ~3 h. Its fun to mess around with ppl there but not for that long constantly (for me at least) and the event itself doesn’t require much participation, someone will burn that 4-5 urchins eventually.

The first quest is doable solo, even with 4 wedges. That's how I completed it. (No recharge either. You get recharged after collecting each piece)

Don't forget the rain. It's quite unforgiving though

Deli is right, plus it recharges you when you get one piece (coughs in one wedge)

To be fair, one wedge would be difficult for the larger plants. 4 wedges is a breeze though

This is beta, it's more empty in live in live there are 50 million people, who are probably going to do the quest plus joining people

even with how the quest pieces give full recharge, the first one had a couple which were locked behind big plants -- that could be quite a bit more brutal for newer players on low wedge counts who slip off the leaves easily if they're doing it alone

did the game ever explicitly teach us at any point that deep calls can recharge other players?

It's a good training ground for new players.

They didnt show us how to make friends with candles or what benches do or anything

that might be concerning if we somehow get a cluster of mostly-new players attempting that first quest, assuming none of them read around on youtube or social media about the game

Imo carry spirits are litteral mini challenges. They're usually quite time consuming and are in difficult areas.

Given forest is already challenging with all the rains and stuff i think carry spirit would be very hard
