The whole afk pack came after the bloom tree testing in beta. They weren’t impressed that players went afk under the tree and they implemented the afk flagging system which contained the no wax collection if you are afk and afk animation. The wax collection limitation was removed for now, but the animation stayed.

I’ve been getting a heart at 10 likes again. Think they removed the 50 requirement. And I was a full CR. Now I kinda just get 20 and call it a day. Once season starts I’ll probably only collect 16 or so per day. I’ll still make plenty for TS and Events. AFK Animation is super cute. As for the IAPs, it can be a bit overwhelming.

I’m not a big fan of them, chevron system i can understand, but i still feel that it’s demotivating for me. Afk was uhmm made to address a certain type of player behavior which was caused by the system itself? It didn’t make much sense and felt rushed for me. shrines kinda destroyed smaller friend goup shrining and fueled the big groups, but since its really hard to find those ppl’s notes i actually want to see i don’t even try if its not a meditation shrine.

For my part I don't know what to say about chevron system, it's great when you're busy but it "killed" the candle run :/ I'm divided about it

I like the chevron system and it really helps me who is rarely online or lazy to cr, can add faster the number of my candles more than before ,also I have a map where I have to cr first and got a lot of candles on that map, so I don't have to cr on all the maps 🎉

the chevron system, i was initially okay with the way the idea was presented in that "full candle runners would still spend the same amount of time to get the same amount of candles as before", but i'm not at all happy with the way it was implemented into live with dev statements that contradict what we were initially led to believe in beta for full CRs; i was under the impression its design wasn't meant to negatively impact on anyone who played this game

i guess what annoys me the most both about AFK & chevron systems was that TGC said they welcomed different playstyles or encouraged an, and i quote, "open-ended and choose-your-own-adventure style", only for those systems to limit playstyles, forcing people to play a certain way lol.

I only really remeber before beta the plan was that at that point, you'd get the same number of candles at the end of a full run as the old system. I didn't really remeber statements about how long it would take comparitvely to get candles, or really ever considering if there was a time difference. Just the candle amount. I now understand that with seasons and expansions, were just going to get more candle locations and the time required for a full all-candle-locations run will just keep going up. It has surprised me how much slower it feels at one chevron vs 3.

Regarding the statements about how long it'd take to get candles, there were a couple shortly after the chevron system began testing in beta in response to conversations and concerns over how it'd affect players. I'd read over them a couple of times to check if I may have only been interpreting what I wanted to hear, but I don't believe that was the case

I don’t do full cr anymore, but back when I did, which was before all the big seasonal expansions, it already felt like a big chunk out of each day. So I do think the new system is beneficial in that it helps you remember to just stop playing for a while and not get so caught up in the candle rat race. If that makes sense?

I don't know the exact date of when beta tester version was released and I'm not referring to Sky: Light Awaits because some people also consider it as the beta version of sky. I am going to assume that it was first released in around during Live's gratitude season to test out lightseekers. I assume that gratitude wasn't being tested since it was already going on in live.

Beta was released in January 2018, while Light Awaits was available in November 2017-ish, iirc. The first season in beta was Winter and Gratitude followed after that.

I don't remember what all of the costs were in beta because I bought a lot of stuff before they got changed, but if we assume that all 6 spirits go 10 - 12 - 14 - 16 - 3 then that's 55 candles per spirit, which would be 330 candles total for all 6. That would be the same as Rhythm, so not too unreasonable I guess, but I honestly don't remember what the current prices are in beta because yeah, I had already got most of the stuff

If you caught an invite via Testflight, you just need to log in to your account via Google Play Games, after you sync it from your Android device.

Also, it's highly discouraged to have a spot in multiple platforms. That would be taking up a spot for another tester to have.

I never said anything about other capes not being boring. I simply said this ult cape looks ugly when flying. I’m entitled to that opinion and I’m sure Devs value all feedback even negative feedback.

I only a BIT dislike the colours since it feels too light Yellow-- maybe if it Darker colour, i will like it more

But overall, i like the design, since it more look like a Hoodie to me now

Im personally fan of this change.
Tho maybe in future we'll get more similar type capes (like more bird capes for example)
But i get excited over small things easily so that's probably the reason

I agree that when flying it doesn’t act like the usual capes we have but I think the concept fits the season theme so well that i find it alright to be like this. The asymmetric shape of the cape makes it really special and unique

It’s less the asymmetry I’m bothered with and more just it’s overall look when flying. It’s stiff and pulled up so high it doesn’t stick to your skykid’s neck. Almost giving it a shopping bag on your shoulders kind of look if you get what I mean. Like when you were a lil kid and tried to carry the plastic bags from a store by putting your arms through each handle to wear it like a backpack, but then it’s floating up off your back so high that it looks like you’re just hanging from it. There are surely more things that bother me, but it’s 5 AM and that’s all the brain power I have at the moment.

The quests and spirits worked fine in beta and most of the props are at the top of the quest tree. There is plenty of time for us to figure out whats their purpose besides being krill repellents and cages for different species in sky.

But I doubt they change anything in regards to them honestly
Also the props with no functionality are meant to be like that
