Some of the props seem to only have collision with the owner right now, including the bookcase/shelf thing and the tent. That may be something that gets adjusted in the future, since things still aren't quite finished. You can leave feedback about it for now I guess

Kill switch was a change made to Eden where if you were in the statue part for too long after someone died (or just in general?), it would eventually force everyone left to lose their winged lights to send the group along. It was meant to be a way to prevent the death loop issue where people would get stuck not being able to move on to Orbit because of people either purposefully camping out and not dying or people who went afk or something and were keeping other players locked in the instance until everyone died. It was having some issues though, so they undid the changes. I'm not entirely sure how it is now because I haven't been to Eden in beta recently

There is a kill switch in live to prevent death loop and greifing.

Edit: the new change is about 3-5 mins after being a wisp, you'll get a prompt every 3-5mins asking if you want to die alone. If you accept, you'll be sent to the dark room.

That's a good solution. I once went to eden with two strangers camping and having a photo op. I waited for a long time before they finished. It was aggravating.

If you choose to go to the dark room alone, you still stay in the same server as your group so you can meet during ascent and in orbit. Its less like going alone and more like going ahead of your group

All of the quests are located by one of the treehouses scattered throughout forest if that helps. I've sent feedback on the devs adding a feature to rewatch the cutscene that gives the instructions. A lot of times I don't pay attention and I miss it, which leaves me confused.

Another feedback that will go in beta-feedback channel: 60 seconds is too long for the sapling quest purely because servers swap too often -> 1. have to relight candle 2. I occasionally get “kicked off” the bench when I am swapped to a server where the seats are already taken. Instead of tranquility this quest can easily become pure frustration 😞

It seems the cutscene after Forest social space works as intended when you walk through the gate. If you fly off from the side the cutscene makes you fall through the map. Either way it needs more polishing for sure (bug report already submitted).

OK so players are not cruel or not wanting help. I was playing with friends who were still at quest 2. We were in the treehouse in forest entrance and only I could see the 4 circles, the 2 friends could not. The players sitting there perhaps only saw me and not my friends, and thought how unfriendly I am for not helping. It is weird to be in multiple instances at the same time.

Dont think so. I mean some can join to android spots if someone leaves the program, they can be alts they can have this weird bug which is going on rn with some ppl, who logs in and gets a moth acc. Its a personal opinion but i dont think we should focus on hunting those ppl rather than testing the game itself. If I see one who has things we can’t have, or we talk and they say something about cheats i report it, otherwise I don’t.

Not hunting but I encounter them quite often. I had a loong conversation with one of them till they accidentally said the one that shall not be named helped him to get on beta and i reported.

I really HATE how the seasonal quests need multiple people to complete... I'm playing mainly solo on beta and I was sitting at the 3 people spot yesterday for about an hour and the server hasn't managed to merge even one person who had to do the same quest... tried again today but I guess most people will do the 4th quest, so I think I'll screw this season on beta and wait for live, because I don't think they will change this multiple people stupidity.

It isn't for anyone who is outside your current server.. it doesn't suggest to deep/long call either (which doesn't help merge). It's for players who are already in your current server. When I played having no clue about the quests it helped me understand that I need more players to take part in the hunt.

No, I don't think it's to help you understand you need more people. We already have a prompt for that, which is "you need more people to complete this". When is says "call for help from other people" I can only assume it does indeed mean that when I click "✅" the game is supposed to be doing something, but it hasn't been implemented yet.

Yesterday I was trying to ask a stranger to sit on the bench with me for the quest in prairie social area. The player came by the bench and refused to sit and started giggling to me. One may choose not to help another but making fun of it is really childish and rude to me. Luckily I don't encounter these kind of players often

Thanks, but this is no solution to the problem, that there are people who prefer to play alone. I know someone in real who is playing Sky and has no friends at all in the game... because he just doesn't want to. So he has to rely on merged players. However, on live this won't be much of a problem, I think, at least at the beginning. It will be much harder for newer players who join the game after the season, because there are mostly players who just don't care what happens left and right of them.

I have several hundred friends. Like I have so many that I just happen to server merge with them frequently when we’re both just out and about. And even then it’s still hard for me to coordinate more than one of them being available at the same time as me to do things together. a lot of my hanging out with my friends is just sheer luck that I happened to be on when they were I can’t imagine this task from the eyes of someone with only a few close friends especially who’s schedules don’t line up.
I’ve been just sticking around doing the tasks over and over as long as I could manage to helping grey skykids out. and I have run into some friends I rarely get to see because of it. but man it’s exhausting

We'll I'd recommend not to buy the null item just yet.
In sanctuary, the ultimates were being worked on and hence appeared as null items in the questgiver's tree. The people who collected 3 seasonal hearts bought the first null ultimate and ofc, nothing was in their closet since it was a null item but their hearts went away.
Later, i don't think they were compensated the seasonal hearts but i am not sure, so it's better not to buy the null item
But yeah, the item is Seasonal candles so maybe you can , but again nothing will appear in your closet lol

It's usually 330 ish season candles to complete a season and is divided amongst spirits and items... With this seasons are typically long enough to accommodate 2 more weeks of buffer. Sanctuary was exception.

The amount of time to complete a season remains same. But, how much you can unlock can vary, for example Rythm had 14 items and 3 music sheets, and Prophecy had 12 items and 2 music sheets. So you could unlock a bit more in the former.

what to use the random summoning hexagon for?

option 1 gather your friends and put them in different locations. Then try to fly through each of them. For each time u fly through without bonking u get a point.

option 2 go to the deep forests and put it, then place a moff inside it for sacrifices

option 3 train your krills to go through them

How is everyone's full candle run going?
I'm still unsure what to think about it. Only managed 15 candles and the last 3 maps were a pain
I appreciate how many candles we can get on the first 2 maps now but, with the first map I got around 6 candles, and with the second I got 5, which is the same we can get now on live. In live we can get that by just farming prairie and valley.
So technically the candle system on live is better for people with less time. So what is the point of the new candle system in beta?
Is the point just to punish people that do a full candle run? Some of them do a full candle run because they genuinely have fun running and collecting wax. Sounds harsh to punish people for having harmless fun

In case you're asking that as an actual question, consider that most realm spirits we run into are "dormant" until we light them up to relive their memories: there isn't really a time where we ever see them "actively present" as we do the Assembly spirits right before doing those quests.

green cosmetics have been highly suggested for a while, so i'm glad tgc gave a green option thats not an iap. of course, not every cosmetic will suit the tastes of every player, which is ok! there will be other options that you like better! if you have any suggestions that aren't beta related, you can leave something in #wishlist-and-ideas-archived

shiny hairs like that are usually bugs. its happened before. i don't see them staying since the extra shine reveals some weird shapes in some hairs.

The grass is shiny. The tree rivals the sun (and it's nighttime). The Christmas antlers look like they'd fit an uniformly-bright Rudolph, not just the nose. The textures are shiny. I'm pretty sure my skin is shinier as well and this is healing my acne -- what's this sorcery?

shiny hair makes the hair look wonky since the angle of the shine could probably show up some low poly stuff on the hair meshes which makes it
look... yknow, weird
so its most likely not intentional, and even if it was something coulda slipped up on the materials or textures to make it extra shiny
take this from someone who put a metallic effect on a very low poly model. it looked very odd
