I can say that it can be frustrating at times, but its fun to help out the dev team with making sky the best game it can be. Just please don't risk your health for a game, no matter how exciting it may be. I'd love to see every new face in beta, but not at the expense of your health. Fun little tip for future testers and preservation:
TAKE AS MANY SCREENSHOTS AS YOU CAN. Not everything you see for the first time will be final. Textures, prices, etc. The trials looked a lot more lifeless than they do now.

I gots to say that being a beta testa for sky is one of the best privileges I have ever had ...but it’s not worth making yourself sick over ....if you sleep you will more likely hear and see notifications, if you don’t sleep then sleep deprivation can really do some crazy stuff and it’s just not worth it ... what’s the point in getting into beta if your too sick to test or play 🤍

i’m just going off of what the team had said previously about the races in their live chats with the devs, they said they wanted to make the races feel more like a race and also change the wax winnings so first place received more, this was a long while ago so they may have scrapped it. i think it’s a good idea though

Toxic means to be unpleasant and pervasive, like a toxin that slowly spreads. Competitions only become toxic if they are taken too seriously, either by a sore loser or gloating winner. It's possible the races may have been changed due to poor flight controls, as it takes more chance than skill to win. There is also no way to ensure everyone starts at the same time, or has the same number of wing buffs.

As in the access wipe did not wipe their access and still says they are a tester. this is a laggy google problem and it's possible for google to catch up and kick them automatically later when it's too late to accept a new invite. so ios removes sky from testflight which is how you know your access is removed. google the only way to check is through a link. it'll either say "program is full" or "welcome to the program you are a tester". when access is removed it should say "program is full" for everyone but google lags and doesn't remove access for everyone right away. as we've seen, it took them months to fix the beta purgatory where new beta users couldn't even download the app

also watch/read media in your target language ! the more colloquial the better, it’ll make you more fluent !

ex: i'll sometimes put emojis because i cant word it correctly or because it fits the message, putting 15 emojis with no words or anything with it unrelated to the convo is spammy as emojis or emotes with no text makes it big rather than small

if you want to just make random emote combos or typing just emotes then #sky-memes is probably best. (corrected. don't do that) adding an emote or two to a sentence you're already typing is fine in any channel though

I know no one means harm by it, but it can feel dismissive or aggressive when you're brand new to the server/channel/concept of a beta and can be just as disruptive as the repeat questions. That's why we tell people to take breaks if you're feeling frustrated.

Our server has over 180 thousand people. One, two or five people sending emotes might not look like much until it becomes a constant stream of just spammy messages.
