When they say beta content, that would include any information about any new content (cosmetics, new areas, upcoming events, new gameplay mechanics, UI changes, changes to friendship trees, new emotes, etc.) and pricing charts and/or candle costs of upcoming cosmetics — not just screenshots and videos from the beta test environment. Us beta testers have already been asked by TGC to not share pricing and where cosmetics are positioned on the spirit friendship trees, because that information can end up changing a lot by the time the events and seasons make it to the Live game.

If your browser supports autofill text and you haven't closed the application tab yet, back arrow until you get to the page where you put in your e-mail and type the first character. What you sent is in the autofill box. You should be able to check all of the things you entered for contact info this way

That doesn’t matter, I assume a wide variety of perspectives will be needed and required! The devs start over with beta to ensure that all sorts of perspectives are included in feedback sessions. Your feedback is just as valuable as that of someone who already went through testing.

for discord userID, go to settings and turn on DEVELOPER MODE: don't skip this step it's what allows you to copy your user ID!!! Then go to a chat and click on your own profile, the three dots on top right and copy user ID!
For sky ID, go to settings, account, scroll down and click account ID and copy!

Nope it doesn't matter, I assume the only reason they asked for live IDs is so they can verify you have an account that you actively play on, but when you get into beta it's the same set up for linking accounts so you can login via anything (except facebook)

I don't imagine these things to have changed with the restructuring, but if they have then I'm sure we'll be notified later

I think there are multiple reasons why they ask this question. One that comes to mind is to be able to pick testers with various levels of experience and time in the Live game for different testing needs

You can still apply now if you're not on iOS currently, they hold your form on file for 6 months so if they open up Android and PC testing in that time they may reach out to folks who have applied already

I think it is to confirm that someone actually plays the Live game and hasn’t just signed up to beta test, but also to balance the feedback they get. Like for UI and menu changes, they might potentially want more (or less) testers who’ve been playing for a while vs a testing scenario where they might want more newer players… It was mentioned that they’ll have testing cycles, so they probably want to be more flexible based on what they need to test

Yep, it's IOS only at the moment. You can still sign up for testing, even if you're not on IOS. You just won't be selected yet. Us Android / PC skids gotta be patient.

It's okay, testflight doesn't know how it works either! it is fairly straight forward, if you're accepted you redeem via a code or link, then you see the info for the app you're testing, and when a doot drops you see the update button and build info, etc. and down at the veeeeery bottom is the leave testing button

Tgc have a long history of sky beta on iOS, they even had a Sky:Light awaits testing only for iOS which was discontinued and turned into “Sky:Children of the light”

a good reasoning I've seen is that it allows the devs to sift through and find players who have played the game a certain amount of time to be able to have more effective testing

so sometimes you need a fresh blind view from someone who's only played a year vs a 4 year old player who already knows what's up
