I haven't timed it yet, but the wait is fairly short! It makes for a nice opportunity for a short break (stretch, drink water, use the restroom, etc) which I can definitely appreciate.

I'll time it to see exactly how long it takes to collect all 4 when I do my dailies tonight ✍️

5 minutes just sitting in one spot is definitely too long for my liking when 4 tickets should take less than 1-2 minutes to manually collect. The only time I’ve really been happy with waiting around in one spot is with grandma’s wax, and that’s because it’s got a good rate and amount of payout

I checked and yeah, it takes ~4 minutes total for all 4 tickets, with a rate of ~1 minute per ticket. It does feel less productive to have to sit and wait for all the wax to spawn compared to when you're actively moving around to collect them. (But that's speaking as someone who doesn't have many issues spotting tickets.)

Although, I can still see the appeal in being able to set my phone down for a bit or watch other players while I wait. It's a little harder to enjoy that aspect in Beta because of the emptier servers and because other players are also idling, haha.

for example, during the testing of 0.26.5 we go trough several beta builds, and the most recent one is 276925 (I suggest going through the bug reporting process for details)
the iap packs were available for everyone earlier, so I'm not really sure what the problem could be, I see them on my alt just fine

I've seen it in live too but they float pretty aimlessly there, but in beta when players or spirits are moving around so are the orbs which can be quite funny so I think they've probably been working on it a while to get it to work seamlessly

They’re daily quests for during Days of Style afaik, so you’re intended to complete them while participating in the event and changing your cosmetics, someone who doesn’t own any other than the base moth cosmetics would just use the featured items I believe.

Grandma doesn't work, meaning that she throws the wax in the air which is very difficult to obtain. There are also other type of glitches we found with friends, when we walk past a certain point with piggyback in Daylight Prairie, meaning my friend disappears or sometimes I disappear and start floating in the air in a sitting position. Also, where it used to be the Days of Color event, I still get white light flashes which make it very difficult to pick up the candles on a candle run. I'm not talking about the beta version; this is actually the live game. But I still love the game, although I'm really hoping for it to be fixed! Thank you! Am I the only one who experience these issues? Also is there any way to join Beta version IOS?

The grandma bun bug and the former days of colour event area bug are already known issues ( #known-issues ) and they're working on it, hopefully will be fixed in the next update(s) as for the other bugs, please kindly report to #report-a-live-bug (if you haven't!)

I love the emote favorite feature very much and I’m happy they allowed us to keep the recent emotes where they used to be too. The edit button in the center is a lot nicer now compared to the star in the regular menu. I would like if our wing amount still displayed when we pressed the wing bar though.

I think it's really intuitive in the recent version, esp being able to easily remove and add additions on the fly. Only problem is as the others stated - the winged light counter has vanished (entirely, in fact) which makes eden running a bit problematic because I rely on that to make sure I get all the statues without needing to count each one as I go |D

I think the locking specific levels should be kept. As an addition, pressing and holding the expression should let you access the other levels of that expression :D

I wish we could swap emotes while in editing mode. Like if I wanted to be in spot number 2 but it’s in spot number 3. I would then have to empty the emote wheel and re-add all my emotes just to place one spot up. I think the way it is now is annoying and it having a swap feature would be extremely helpful.

I remember since Joy-Cons came out, to use Joy-Cons on Android, you either have to buy an USB-C to USB-A adapter and connect a Wireless Dongle to use both Joy-Cons as a single player controller since Android doesn't have it pre-configured like iOS does. Or you would have to root your device but knowing the risk, I prefer not to root.

Update: I figured out a weird workaround for why I'm locked out because it keeps crashing at the home menu screen. When I press play I just swipe it down as if it's iOS, and that seems to prevent my crashing issues.

BIGGER UPDATE: I used all modes on my controller and as it turns out the Switch mode re-enabled me being able to pull up the controller map layout and even zoom in and out! Yay! I could even use the emote favorite wheel, however I couldn't assign any emote to it.

So I pushed and held the trigger button, pulled up on the right stick and pressed the emote menu button at the same time, and it allowed me to choose a slot to modify as well as an emote to add to each slot. I was able to spam level 6 wave after successfully doing these steps.

You just need to push and hold the trigger button then release on the emote you want to use after doing so. Using your right stick.

I'm used to playing Genshin with a Controller, I have another idea, tho, it might need some changes.
L is use for forging candles and hearts. We could assign it so when hold, you could open the quick emote wheel. And use the right stick to choose an emote.

To edit, while L being hold, press R to enter edit mode, L and R will be for at this time and you can use the left stick to choose a slot and then press A to select that slot to edit.

Once done, press Y to save

(This is for the Switch Controller but on Xbox and PlayStation the buttons will be different)

I'm really confused... I have an OEM Xbox Series X/S bluetooth controller that I recently started using on my Android phone (Galaxy S22) and tablet (Galaxy S8), but neither of my 2nd shoulder buttons work with Sky and I haven't been able to actually use the emote menu when playing with it. That plus the unresponsive D-pad issue most controllers are suffering from. Anybody know how I can get at least the LT/RT buttons to do something in-game? I've tried both wired and wireless mode with no results on that.

I do have a backup controller that DOES actually work well with the emote wheel (Mytrix Pro Controller), so I have been able to offer feedback a while ago with that, but my control sticks are now too drifty to do much with right now...

Yeah 😭 I also know it's probably bc the rose ult is more complicated of a lighting issue (which is why it's taking so long-- that and spaghetti code), but found it so funny and sad that I was reporting 4 things

And from 0.25.0-0.26.0 all but rose ult got fixed. I was so hopeful LMAO it was like they were just going down the list of my mass item issues bug report and fixing it.

Honestly, just wish they'd have more stable lightings for most props because I have issues with how a ton of them change in different lighting (like the cinna plush is BRIGHT in some dark areas too).

Other back prop items suffer from this is well, so I really do wonder what is different mechanically for the lighting and dynamics of how it goes about impacting a mask vs a back prop. The rose on the days of love mask, for example, is how the rose ult lighting used to be. It's remained unchanged all these years while the rose prop has drastically shifted in both back and placed-prop mode from how it was initially. So I wonder if or why lighting impacts the masks and stuff attached to them way different than back props.

i think the last previous update, apparently most of the cutscene we will need to re-do once more then it should be able to skip...it isn't a bug at the moment

I haven’t actually tested the feature myself, but the skip all cutscene option should skip cutscenes after you’ve watched them once. To enable tracking for this, TGC has had to reset everyone’s “cutscene watched” status for all cutscenes back to “no” or whatever it was classed in the files, so you’ll need to rewatch the cutscenes before being able to skip them.

Calibration is needed when King Kong controllers are upgraded to firmware V2. 6. Just press the four buttons of L,R,left of D-pad and A at the same time to quickly calibrate the sticks ZR,ZL

Your controller may need to be updated. If you still have the instruction manual you can reference from there how to update your controller. You will at least need a PC for sure. I don't know what else you may need but if you don't have the instruction manual, a Google search may work for you. Just thought I'd let you know.

I noticed you have a Gulikit King Kong controller too so it may have to be updated to a different firmware in order to work.

Well, normally you have to wait for an invite wave and register using a specific link.

And invites depend on certain devices, it's normally available for the people who registered.
I'm pretty sure you need to register to be able to download it.

Either way it depends on the current number of testers as well. I believe currently TGC has enough beta testers for the present moment? Since the too many players message occured recently
