• You’re automatically assigned a team for a certain duration
• Per race, per day, you can get a maximum of 3 points for your team.
• On the scoreboard, the stars indicate the total points of your team (so gold = 3 points, if your team has won gold 4 times, then you’ll have 12, and so on)
• you’re right about the silver medal, doesn’t sound like a bug to me but I recommend feedbacking that this was not entirely intuitive!

If we’re assigned a team for the entire duration of the event, I think it makes sense now!

However, since we are nearing the release of 0.26.0 (I assume with the current live season ending), please don’t forget to send your thoughts in #beta-feedback. If it was confusing to you, it will be confusing for live people!

I also noticed getting a sliver medal when I solo the race. Didn't understood why. My team was under forest, it was under prairie last few patches

It's because of the autoskip feature resets all the cutscene progress to that of a moth, so you have to watch all the cutscenes at least once to enable the cutscene autoskip/manual skip

Hey Rover, im afraid you’re not the only one experiencing this issue. It would be rather strange for an entire account to be wiped, but I really recommend sending a bug report about this because aside from the usual troubleshooting (reinstalling etc), I’m afraid players won’t be able to help

It appears that only one team would be able to get the gold trophy, and I don't feel that's quite in the ethos of Sky.
Competition should be a fun way to push ourselves to become better, and help others to become better versions of themselves too, in the spirit of generosity.

Please either remove the gold statue, or gift both gold and silver to all participants, as I'm sure a lot of them made great leaps in their abilities during the event.
In my opinion it's about your personal best, not everyone's, that is most important.

if you were there for the event and played even just a little you could obtain the hat.
this golden crab statue is only for one group of 25% of the event participants and it is arbitrary if you’re in that group. ..and you have only a very small influence on if you’re going to obtain it or not.

I do enjoy this new way of participating and of getting tickets. We are all being rewarded with a trophy regardless of whether we win or not, which is nice too.

I hope everyone will receive a participation trophy and a bronze / silver / gold trophy. I don’t really mind the trophies to be honest, especially if the event returns every year

My forest assigned account has got silver. But the account allocated the valley got nothing. Both accounts had their actions together for the most part, only the latter was set to skip cutscenes. It may be that the reason I didn't get any trophies was because I had already seen the closing ceremony before the latest patch, but I don't know for sure.

A really long time ago before launch, the sliding race in Valley would have two teams: red and blue, depending on which side you sat down at the start. The team that got the most lights would win and get a special cutscene at the end where the coliseum banners changed to that color (and IIRC maybe some extra wax, but it wasn’t much if at all)

I thought it was some fun competition and missed it once it was removed, but probably because it was a permanent thing anyone could replay at any time. There wasn’t any stress about winning or losing, I think that’s the ideal of “friendly competition” for me and I think DoC races do it well. I’ve been a bit away from Beta lately but it was surprising to hear they’d consider adding some “exclusive” reward as well

the first and second half have their own separate ticket pools
so you can get 25 in the first, and 25 in the second

so essentially you can just brute force replay over and over in one shot get all the EC and then not bother until the second half, is what I interpreted

A little late to this but want to hop in before it gets too far lost: I was using a Mytrix Wireless Pro controller for Android/iOS/etc. on my Samsung devices for a while. It was handy considering the price point at the time against other mobile-compatible controllers, but the only drawback is how finicky the control sticks are since their calibration eventually gets all over the place the longer you use it, even with the app that's supposed to control button mapping and settings for it. Now there are some cheaper compatible controllers out there, but haven't really given them a try yet, so if you're looking into getting one, definitely check reviews out for how well they hold up over time.

Otherwise, if you have a PS4/5 or newer Xbox Series S/X wireless controller handy, those are compatible.

My only gripe is how there's just no support for D-pad no matter which route you go...

Testers can share their beta adventures here, but we do ask members to not fulfill any beta outfit requests. This is mainly because we don’t want the testing program to be functioning as a preview for what’s to come, and we don’t want the focus of beta to be on collecting cosmetics.

The season and the new events are starting really really soon though! So only a few more days of WAFO’ing - however, feel more than welcome to lurk and look up posts by members here. I’m sure you’ll find a lot of sneak peeks

hi. I heard that at the SKYfest 5th Anniversary Cape, you can see the history of SKY at any time even outside of SKYfest, but the gate is not activated in my beta version. Is this a bug?

Not sure if it's a bug, you are welcome to bug report it in case. But I know that sometimes stuff doesn't activate in beta.

In my theory it probably isn't fully activated for beta, if you read that the cinema show times of the livestreams will repeat over the times in a set schedule, and because there isn't a livestream as of yet so it's not enabled.

@hollow ridge replying to you here from the screenshots channel. The Olympic torch can recharge a single player (the one holding it) but it’s very slow. I wouldn’t count on it to recharge friends while flying/running. It won’t replace the white friendship candle. Think of it more like the summer lantern (IAP), it brightens dark areas. Olympic torch doesn’t have a large light radius like the lantern but it works and it’s (currently in beta) IGC.

I don't believe there's anything in the works beta-wise right now. We will never know for sure though so I wouldn't assume it's scrapped. There is also the possibility that it's just pushed back and the anniversary taking priority at the moment, but nothing is ever certain

To my reading of the posts in news, it is only some features of sky fest (cinema tech) that won’t work. It’s sad that they couldn’t fix that part in time, but otherwise you should be able to participate in the rest, including cosmetics.

@final minnow unfortunately this would count as campaigning for feedback which is against server rules, but any feedback and bug reports about languages being censored incorrectly will definitely be seen by devs regardless of how many people report them as they do check every single feedback and report they receive
