That’s what everyone is still gonna do. If there’s no wax, then there’s no reason to visit. I’ll go once a week to unlock some stuff, at most. These new areas are pointless. They’re just bloating the game and are worthless once the season is over, especially the gigantic ones like Deer, Prince, & moments.

I’ve yet to see them ever add a substantial amount of wax after the first build. We need another sanctuary. Give me a reason besides a “oh that’s neat” one-time wow. Performance is a good example. Just a gimmicky feature that nobody uses.

Not really a beta topic at the moment, but I highly suggest sending your thoughts in the #beta-feedback channel after trying it all out, and about other aspects the live channels.

Everyone’s Sky experience is different, so I completely understand that this might not be your cup of tea, but let’s remember that there are lots of players out there who come to these areas for other reasons as well (whether it’s hanging out, playing music, building shared spaces,…).

If your number gets reset for the races, which happens if you quit the app. You need to get back to that number you were at before to get more tickets. Then they will start showing up again. That’s definitely a bug tho…lol

I'm working on submitting a bug report but I just wanted to see if anyone else is having this problem:
When entering the building that's supposed to house the event spirits/teleportation circles to their corresponding events, I just get teleported to Office instead. I know this was an issue in the last build, but is anyone else still having problems with it? It's making it impossible to complete events other than the anniversary

Unfortunately chances are you won’t be able to, beta invites haven’t opened in awhile. Just grab the role and read #beta-faq so you know when and what to do if they do drop

This is a new season build which are normally very buggy. This is expected, and it gradually gets better over time. At the same time, they fix bugs that have been in live for a while, like the Hermit Valley wind path. It just takes a while to fix certain bugs. If they wait to fix all the bugs before releasing any new content, we’ll be waiting for 6 months between seasons

isn't beta always a buggier version of live sky? We're here to test the upcoming content and catch the bugs before they come to live and they work on them to the best of their ability. The bugs are gradually addressed.

Plus lately in live it's been more stable from my experience since the last live maintenance, it sometimes could had been a server overload and other times it could had been other things they didn't expect to happen.

it's difficult to catch up with the bugs when the game is in many different platforms and especially bajillion android devices, so it's difficult to keep up, but I can personally see that it's slowly improving. Not a lot of bugs are game breaking

Either way you're here to test and catch the glitches and odd things so they know what to fix eventually, they're quick on some bugs, not on the non essential bugs (like minor visual glitches) so it's still encouraged to report them.

Also some bugs that do not exist in beta can appear to live sometimes so it's unpredictable

There has not been an invite wave in several months. Be sure to have your phone notifications on for discord so you can react immediately to an invite. We never know when the next one will be. If you’re on android you can sometimes get in beta when someone frees up a spot. But being a single moth in beta is hard. It’s best when there’s a wave, so the community helps the new beta moths with various tasks

As an android user, I can explain what happens. Very very rarely Google will show beta as downloadable when testers drop out, but it doesn't happen often, and you still can't play unless you get an invite. So either way, you'll have to wait until more invitations come out

Hi sky kids, I wonder how do you know if you’ve been removed? Does the app in TestFlight disappear?
For previous apps I’ve been test in, they all said “Tester removed” while I can still see them on the “Previous tested” even after a long time;
But for Sky Beta, somehow I can’t see the app at all (I made sure I used the same Apple ID. Yes I’m an IOS.)
Just wonder if I was simply being removed or does that have anything to do with switching to a new device last September.🥲

I think it's related to the patch note they mentioned recently where the gauge doesn't accurately reflect the amount of items placed

before it gave the same increment gauge fill per prop, but now the larger ones take up more space

it's the biggest prop placement cap of anywhere in the game, it's already pretty generous tbh
it's probably limited for how much the servers can handle

as someone who's maxed out the prop placement in live, the new gauge change feels more accurate to how much it should actually fill because I got up to about 90% left and when I placed the last prop, the whole gauge circle turned red

For@sand garnet and others—I've seen a few folks mention that you lost a winged light during the crab race during the Tournament of Triumph. To make sure I understand, do you mean an actual that you would have had in your regular Sky kid form and your total WL count was reduced when you were back to your normal avatar? Or do you just mean that the one wedge you had while in crab mode was completely extinguished and you were in shadow form or something, but when you reverted to Sky kid mode your total WL counts was the same as before?

Okay! Sometimes just deleting & reinstalling the app works wonders for beta, clearing your cache really helps too (if you’re on iOS, this is done by reinstalling ).

Might also have been a temporary issue, but I highly recommend linking your beta account to google / gmail as well once you’re able to log in again

It took away an actual winged light from my sky kid as far as I could tell. It told me to recollect my lost winged light and did the "Shing!" sound effect with the slashing through one of my stars animation after I was teleported to the end of the race and turned back into a Sky kid. Obviously there was no way for me to even try to find and get the winged light back then though. ^_^;

I wish I had thought to look at my wl count beforehand but I didn't think this would be an issue since I "died" as a crab once last build and was fine. I didn't see if one flew out of me because the screen was fading to black to take me to the end of the race for taking too long to get the next checkpoint. The sound effects and text hint didn't happen at all when I got stuck in the dark water and my poor crab-self died last time though. ^_^;

That's not really a feedback thing. The devs only know when we need more testers, so it's really just a waiting game unfortunately. It just seems at this time, there's enough testers for the time being
