In the #beta-faq you can get yourself the “beta invites”-role. If you have that role, you will be pinged whenever a new invite wave happens!

If you’re on iOS, you need to install TestFlight too, but the beta only opens up sporadically so at the moment it’s not possible to get in!

Make sure to read through the #beta-faq and get the invites role. Android invites also open up sporadically, you don’t need to install an app - only wait until the invites open up

The krill took the circle for the test and are playing with it in wasteland. Quick, everyone go sit under the big tree in graveyard and just wait a little bit. You will know its started when it turns red

I recommend checking the server periodically though because when any pings happen from here it takes like a couple hours to half a day (or more, lol) to actually send to you on mobile (it's slow as molasses)

What I'd do is don't set the server to mute all notifications and keep the invite channel non muted so at least you know when the white dot appears that something was posted in the channel that you need to see

It should be in your regular IAP shop if you’re referring to the Feast cape, but if it’s not maybe a friend can try gifting it instead

Since you already technically got the IAP, it think you have the cape but originally it was the snowboard

If you unlocked the cape in an older build, after the update that moved it to the shop a beta-only bug will prevent it from appearing from you.

These kind of bugs pop up from time to time in beta depending on what kind of updates are made to items, but they don't affect the live version at all

The Feast cape turned into an IAP while the snowboard turned into an IGC. It seems the transition was a little buggy though, so the cape doesn't show up in the shop for some players (based on whether or not you bought a different Feast item - I'm not sure of the exact details).

I'm not sure if it's still the case, but as of at least a few months ago, you would get an error message if you tried to bind a STAR pin to your Beta account. But it's not recommended to try anyways, you're right.

not sure what you mean by "not close". the two versions on pc that can be played (beta and demo) are not going to close.
beta isn't going to close, because beta testing is always needed to test new updates and find possible glitches in code before they make it to the live game. but as for the demo, it's just to demonstrate what the game is going to be like in the live version of the game. so when the live version is released, the demo isn't needed anymore. it doesn't mean that sky is going to be a paid game on pc - that would make pc the only platform where sky is not free to play.

The aviary's exit in Windpaths is near the main island, beside the one Talented Builder is on. You would need to fly a bit of distance to reach the caverns entry on top of battling the wind currents. I personally have not timed myself but it's worth testing.

I think the traditional route through Hidden Forest is faster, it only takes up to 1.5 minutes, the "Aviary >> Wind Paths >> Cavern >> Clearing" route may take more than 1.5 minutes 🧐

Because while there's snow for the events in some realms that normally don't have snow, Daylight Prairie with snow just doesn't make sense for a meadow with snow in it, right? Having a toggle would probably ruin the immersion in my opinion but it also may take a lot of time and effort to add in as well. This is just my opinion though. It's not my game after all.

There are absolutely ways to make “snow toggling” immersive, we have entire areas being terraformed in Sky

And I’m moreso talking about Aviary, but the realms as well would be cool. The default would be off, but by progressing, you could talk to the Prophet of Water or someone and have them bring a snowstorm.

In the intro, we:

• start of with 14 wedges, which is the exact double amount of wedges we have standard on our way to orbit (refers to maybe us being complete, we have all our memories?)
• we are in full control of flight and fly ‘in harmony’ with the creatures of Sky but we can’t ride the manta I think -> we also see those in orbit
• thunder and lightning strikes, but it’s blue this time, not red like from Eden. There’s was a whole Eden oob, Eden is blue thingy I can link as well from LA. It did remind me of that!
• when we get extinguished, we turn into this glowing teal / blue orb/light which is very similar to being extinguished in Eden (we turn blue orb, just different)
• why do we have the halo in the intro cutscene but not from rebirth Eden?

@old nymph adding on to what Jaws said, bug reporting truly is crucial in beta. The fact that the stickers might have a big gloom, could also be part of a bigger issue (meaning: other props might have the same issue).

We just dealt with a pretty heavy bloom problem in the last Live update. Bug reporting the small things is important too.

Another, more recent example of this is the wax burning issues: because beta players don’t really CR much, it’s normal that servers are emptier than in Live. If plants don’t burn, might be a server issue. It’s always important to bug report every bug you see unless it’s in #beta-known-issues. It’s what testers are for!

Unless we specifically come out and say X is changing, it's probably a bug. From there I can flag it up to the design team and find out.

The high end phones and tablets mostly have a high refresh rate screen, like 120hz or even high. The only way to play at this high frame rate for now is on PC I guess.

My devices wont be capable to achieve 120fps even if its forced to. (Cuz its not available XD)

Well, yes there is a different server for players in China, but that's only the live version. There is not a netease beta, and plus, not every player who speaks Mandarin is from China either.
