The Aviary Project teaser wasn't necessarily planned to be a preview of the finale itself. But, Aviary Village is going to be built on and incorporated into other in-game events, so features used in one event may or may not come back for others

If anyone knows: what does the fourth quest look like for a brand new player? (Because in the future they'll start in the aviary, so none of the realms will be available to them)

The 3rd quest is also the first time new players merge with others in beta! So they kind of have the time to explore… sunlight and then they start the 4th quest and get introduced to the main storyline, like Bubba said.

If you’re ever curious about what that looks like, I re-install beta a lot and log in with local account (throwaway moth account). Definitely worth it, considering you’ll see the new intro as well

With an older account, activating the fourth quest opens only the Eden gate and none of the other realms. I wanted to know what this would look like instead for a new account, because in the future all players will start in the Aviary and not the Home island (which is currently exclusive to beta). I don't get to experience that Isle "prompt" on an older account: it's just Eden.

1. you need to have signed up on that form to be in the pool for the keys (since they're chosen randomly
2. since that's closed, if you didn't sign up, you are not eligible to be chosen for pc beta

that said, regular beta (mobile for android/ios) doesn't require signing up any form you just need to slap the link that's put up

personally I just set this server to have the white dot thingo on the server icon for any channel I don't have muted so I can see at a glance if there's a beta update

discord will always delay the actual ping because this server is massive so it probably takes a while to calculate how to send out the ping to multiple people who have the update role

I guess the most reliable method is have a group beta ping group where whoever sees the message first pings everyone else so you get it faster than the server can send it

If I want shared memories to play when I enter Aviary I have that option already because there is always a bunch of them where we spawn.
Things like this are terribly distracting and it's interrupting gameplay.
There are shared memories and shared spaces everywhere you go in game. If this feature will be implemented in all areas and also include shared spaces the game will become all but unplayable for me.

I guess for now it’s only at the shared candle shrine, but I kind of agree: it doesn’t necessarily make me want to use the shrines more, but rather it makes me avoid them.

I hope they could consider and pull it off :o

Awwww I really like the fireworks show! I do think it’s a little bit hard focusing on the actual fireworks when all the cones are there

Maybe if the cones came after we followed the guides? But tbh I did like the festival tech in this one

I'm not a fan, you can't really see anything when you're in the middle of the firework and you get flung off in a random direction so you can't see what's going on (I think it would be more fun if the fireworks were going off around the outside and we went up in the middle of them )

If the finale was longer that would be even more wholesome. The Steward deserves to have more fun showing off their firework powers. I left feedback about this. They look so proud of themselves with their newfound magic stick. The kid is living the dream aha.

I think it can be fun, but maybe it could be adjusted so they just grab us if we're within a certain radius of them, when you're trying to enjoy the fireworks from a height and you get grabbed abruptly it can be a bit motion wobbly, also I got stuck in the air a couple of times, it did happen in a previous build and I reported it already but I can yeet another report in for this build too to show what happened getting stuck

Personally I'm not exactly sure where the radius is set in this build, although people sitting on the ridge above the area where the gates are should have been outside of that. Were you/folks watching from the ground or in the air when you were pulled in?

I love it! But there are a few caveats. The camera gets messed up after it. It gets super slow. The other thing is that you miss the final giant boom in the chaos. I have to avoid the yeeting if I wanna see the big one
