All IAPs are free, but there are no candle packs. Candle and wl locations are the same, and beta accounts have no connections to live accounts. You can link them to the same email

The only candle location difference is season candles- daily quests might be slightly different based on events but are usually the same, and the season candles you find in the dailies realm will equal half a season candle instead of a quarter- and there will be double season candles in each realm

The point of the playgroup testing is to break the server, not to get the ultimate. This is the point of the announcement.

I think the general advice for that scenario would be to put your exam first in whatever capacity that requires, hopefully you can hop on after for the bonfire but since we don't know anything other than what was mentioned in the announcement we don't know how long it'll be there for.

But again, remember this is beta so even if you can't get the bonfire it's not the main priority

General advice this is not personally to anyone.
It has been ongoing again and again, beta Sky progress could be wiped out, we’re here as BETA TESTERS, not collection hoarders. I didn’t even finish abyss and few seasonal quests as Beta is not the priority. You dont have to get everything or even do anything other than just do what you would do in Live Sky. Even bug reporting is up to you whether you want to do it or not.
If we get something exciting in return, that’s is another way for the dev to thank us, but even so it is not for our Live Sky so 🤧

If you have time to join any major group testing, then do. If you can’t, don’t force yourself to participate and disregard your real life activities.

Yes, it has been a “nuisance” that most of the group testing is too early or too late for other countries, but that issue has long been answered on why. The devs team is human too.

Generally speaking, things you accomplish in Beta stay with you in Beta as you continue testing future updates— but as this is Beta, it’s always possible for bugs to happen or for things to be intentionally removed or reset from our accounts: currency, cosmetics, or if ever needed, all of our progress.

Your feedbacks while getting /doing it is important for devs and Live players later!

Ah tip for people making bug reports: if it's a long one have the information typed out separately beforehand or skybot will time you out and you need to do it all over again if you mess up
So if you're a slow typer that will help a lot

Same goes for sending feedback cuz sometimes the filter will nuke it and all your hard work is gone

If you want to leave beta you have to manually leave the program
iOS you will get automatically kicked out if you're inactive for a certain amount of time or also just manually leave

You can't get the invite back once you cancel it and have to wait for another wave again

to briefly summarise why it was such an uproar:

• leading up to that, 3 ult reskin instruments were added to HH for $15 each then raised to $20 each
• due to feedback, the other instruments were removed and we got the harp and rhythm guitar added in that’s still in live today
• in the same update, TGC guitar (which wasn’t available for testers) increased from $15 to $30
• in the DoR update, they introduced the gay pants which were originally IAP for $15 and people were really upset that they reskinned the jellyfish pants and made it cost money
• there were no igc items for players whatsoever in that update either
• updates were just barebones list of changes without explanation to why things happened, nor did the devs explain why changes were made (which I assume is because of NDA but that was still a problem in itself)

so stack on the feeling that people didn’t like how much f2p players kept getting shafted on cool items + the IAP were expensive and there ya go

Beta Sky 🤝 crashes and bugs is to be expected. Some crashes might happened frequently to a player than others. Until it is appear in #beta-known-issues having crashes is "almost normal" in beta.

thats why its "almost normal" once in a while, players do have crashes out of nowhere, you can send the bug reports. The difference is when the crashes happened frequently and almost instantaneously to most players that it is posted in #beta-known-issues

i think for IOS, we have this in-feature in Testflight where the bug report directly send to developer via screenshot / after crash wasn't it? I just used that tbh

The main objective is to be there and participate during the playtest though. We don’t know anything for sure.

During Aurora testing there was a miniscule moment where the wings became available, and there were some requirements (to actually participate in the event)
