An example: the map loading screens are usually light or dark, and there is no option to always make it dark, because if you play Sky at night or in the dark, you can get pain in your eyes.

Adding onto that, iirc the Light Awaits capes had their patterns change depending on how many friends were made, which also lead some people to not make friends in order to keep the patternless ones that we all have now
But the game seems to function differently now, if TGC were to add those capes today, I don’t know if they’d still actively change, I get the feeling they’d be purely cosmetic (no pun intended I suppose) so they feel more plausible to reimplement for fun callback maybe

I personally got really burnt out of Sky awhile ago, and while I have more motivation now, I still feel it sometimes
Mainly, I just had to take a break and rediscover why I enjoyed the game in the first place
I tend to find that taking my time and reconnecting with a game seems to be one of the best ways for me to combat burnout, because I get so used to rushing the grind that sometimes I forget to take it slow and just have fun like I did in the beginning
So do take it easy sometimes, I wish you all luck overcoming the tiredness in your own ways

My method for fighting burnout? I try to find all the bugs from beta that make it to live - it's like a chaotic treasure hunt.

I just do Eden a few times a day cause its fun to watch/help people there, especially moths.
Also my cr is one hour tops, fast and easy 16-18 candles a day. Doesnt get me tired.

Late to the convo, but I noticed people talking about burnout. I think I said this before, but I do sometimes find myself getting burnt out despite my love for CRing/CR Ubering. The way I combat that, though, is just taking the time to hang out with friends and do other fun stuff in-game, just to give myself a break. Unfortunately, due to my severe burnouts from Sky, i might've instead focus to irl stuff one day and stop playing for good, or when i reached 200 (3 wl buffs to go!) Any particular reason TGC has decided they will systematically reduce the amount of items available per season without reducing the cost of the AP? I've been playing for years, started in Season of Sanctuary, which featured 6 unique spirits with fully fleshed-out memories to relive, and something like 16 items, including 2 ultimate gifts.

The number of ultimate gifts has never changed, it's always been 2 per season. But judging by the current Spirit Guide in beta offering only 1 ultimate gift, I guess we can say goodbye to having a second?

I'm so disappointed. Anyone who doesn't boycott is adding to the damage. They can't just keep doing this and get away with it. We need to show them that we aren't okay with them slowly reducing the value of APs over time without reducing the cost. Change it to $5, or quit reducing the tangible value. It isn't fair.

You are correct that Assembly had 4 and Aurora had 3, my mistake. Regardless, both seasons featured fewer total emotes and items. Not to mention the fact that SoA features spirits that stood in a circle worshipping the Spirit Guide (Aurora) with absolutely no reliving of their memories to be spoken of.

So you’ve basically addressed exactly one of my criticisms without actually making a good point. It is reality that we have been receiving less and less content with pretty much every season cycle.
