We don't know 100% what that invisible entity is in Live either. It could be a symbol for something different. There's been weird occurrences now in the Live version that came from the beta, and if it were a hint of the next season it wouldn't be confirmed until the next beta update. Even then, nobody knows.

you can't transfer beta between operating systems but it should still work between devices as long as you're using the same account you used to sign up? i know it works that way on android, i don't know if using beta on other devices works on ios or not

Saammmeee! I’m surprised they went with remembrance right after Aurora which was so uplifting and magical, it feels odd that the team decided to enter the new year on such a saddening tone. I wished they would have carried the momentum of aurora into a bright and cheerful season instead of letting it die with remembrance but that’s just my take. Hopefully the upcoming season has a lighter tone with both the cosmetics and the feelings/emotions that are conveyed through it by us the players.

Back when Season of Sanctuary was in beta I was shocked to see sunglasses and a flower-print cape.. I regret the feedback I gave about those things..
What fits in Sky grows with every season.
In the early days I never thought I’d see an electric guitar in Sky.
Perhaps someday we might even see futuristic style cosmetics and I think that variety is a good thing now!

I think we can expect a doot the earliest Tuesday-Wednesday because TGC needs to release a patch on Monday to fix the crashing issues on Switch and possibly the other platforms. A miracle if it's on Monday. I think the most late we can expect the doot is on Friday at most.

Well considering we have Days of Nature sometime in April, we should expect new season testing first, yeah. It would be too much to keep up with, so next season testing should be coming first. But then again, Remembrance ends on April 2nd or 3rd, probably the 3rd.

We may just get new season testing first, and then the Days of Nature in a future update after new season releases.

I found an invisible hand icon in abyss, it made a sound I've never heard before. This is brand new. I think the new season may involve Abyss in some way. The invisible hand is right next to a piece of rubble directly in front of the hole the eel comes out of near the pile of shells with the canopy. Although this sounds like a reach to some, i don't see why days of nature being located in abyss this year would be a reach, the abyss underwater area is called treasure reef. Reefs are usually endangered or contaminated in real life and conservation efforts for them happen often. Most days of nature iaps are related to the ocean. If anything its a pretty good guess

firstly, the season LITERALLY ended around a week or two ago in beta (idk i dont really count it) and people already begging for new content..

now lets being realistic here, for new stuff to be added in the game, they need to make the design sheet first, later the 3d artists sculpt it. once it's done, the programmers will do their job to put that in the game whole architecture, is it easy? maybe if you already used to it, but can it take less than 2 weeks to do all that? definitely no

let's not forget the brainstorming phase, also the "hmm that doesn't look good let's try something new" phase

I do see your earlier point Sage and I agree that being patient goes a long way but content is planned months in advance, meaning by the time the current season is about to end they're already in the final stages of working on the new season just before being shipped to beta

And a lot of stuff is tested internally so the devs themselves could be a couple of builds ahead of us, I really don't see a problem with testers wanting the next season to drop ASAP. We've seen how on many occasions the overhaul of cosmetics and game mechanics can set testing back a few days if not weeks

I feel like I started an argument on accident with this response? I was just trying to offer some insight on how they could extend their time whilst also helping players with the (albeit brief) wait?

The problem resides in the fact that by the time a season has released in live, testing has somewhat concluded in beta. That's why many players get impatient.

It's not TGC's responsibility to manage people's excitement but I feel like leaking a bit of information on what's to come (like what Minecraft is doing in 1.20) could be a good move.

Or maybe just sneaky hints with reactions like (for example if it was a rejuvenation season in Isle like i've seen a few people hoping for) 🌱

But I do agree with you that people need to have more patience, or at least keep it to themselves for the dev's sakes.

Tomorrow is the earliest we can expect an update, but don't get your hopes up. That's just an estimate from me and I bet Monday will be a miracle if they even release it then. If they release it today for some reason that'd be really weird. Monday is a miracle if they release it tomorrow, but I have doubts they'd release it right around then. I'd say Wednesday would be the best bet, Thursday if we're unlucky. Any later than that and we're pretty unlucky. But it's just a guess on my part.

Remembrance was a nice season to take part in because it felt like Abyss and Performance, where they use the standardized formula for every season since like Belonging I think? (Whenever Seasonal Hearts were a thing at least.)

Overall though Remembrance tried to reuse an overseen feature in the community and in its attempt to get more people to use said feature, it's been somewhat successful I guess? I mean those Shared Space spells are nice but I'm tired of seeing them everywhere I go on my candle runs. I don't really care to see other people and their space because I'm too busy candle running. But then again, it's still something nice to look at when I feel like I've finished my runs.

In my opinion this season felt like what you'd expect from a standard TGC season. That being emotional damage, a good story built up, and quests that all tie into creating your own unique space.

i hopped out for a while but i wanted to say that yeah i totally get that!! it would be kind of odd for aurora moths i reckon. i still enjoy it mainly through a lore perspective but even i’ll admit i don’t really use social spaces that much. i love the new cosmetics though, the veterans hair + the shattering dark flower mask is my new go to

a small new area, a few memorable characters, and an overhaul to the pre-existing mechanic

I honestly wish there were some sort of small shape adjustments to the scarf, like maybe a little triangle cut in both ends, because the scarf perfectly fits in the shape only for basic capes or the ones that have a similar shape to them, so it really feels a bit blank and out of place to have it on with other capes

I hope they do something on the basis of.. taking inspiration of the feel of old ults? perhaps mixing a few to create new ones, such as taking the idea of both the tassels from enchantment and the mask from anubis, to create an ult similiar to the feel of the gratitude deer mask, but different from all of them in its own right? Giving newer players the chance to get ults that are similiar, but still unique to not cause the issue of missing the second version.

the next season will possibly be about the players restoring the Isle of Dawn, as the elder of the season will be on the isle of dawn
Quests will revolve around restoring buildings, terrain, and other things on the Isle of Dawn.
I say this because of the CGI that we had from Sky at the launch of the Nintendo Switch and I believe that the next season could be like this if it is on the Isle of Dawn

The beta cape was a reward for testers prior to the game launch, and it's no longer available. But if you mean the founder's cape that is very similar, that can be purchased at the office in both Live and Beta— Beta just won't actually charge you for IAP items

Do you guys like the bloom pants? Im personally not a fan but can see why people like it.

And also what do you think about the picnic basket with the little cakes on it having a gift adventure pass? I think for more solo or lone players who just want a picnic basket it would be a waste. Interesting decision though.

E: cy i definetly agree with you, i myself like less skinny outfits sometimes they look akward on certain heights. Im also a fan of pants having shoes / boots. I think what threw me off with bloom pants was the gloves /mittens(?) xD

I didn't like the bloom pants to begin with but it grew on me when I wore it in beta
It's quite detailed for an outfit + has very nice sturdy boots (I just want more outfits in general like this where it doesn't feel like you're a skinny twig)

In regards to bloom. pants, as a new player I really want more outfits. That said I really don't like limited outfits.

Ex. The fortune smock was amazing and it would've been my go to if it wasn't for the very cute bunny tail. I can never justify wearing it with a more serious tone in mind (journey pack).

That's my issue with the bloom pants. I think it's great for more veteran players who have nice universal outfits, but for me it's just too specific. I'm a sky kid not a gardner (...atm ). So I'll be passing on it sadly. 🥹

I do like the detail though, maybe if it had been less gardner and more flower accentuated. 🤔

It's currently 9pm and beta updates are more likely to come out around midnight or even 1 am from me, so there's still some time

If the color were changed, it would probably be in an update. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on who you are), the tulip cape changes color depending on the realm lighting very easily. Some capes are only a little affected, but the tulip cape has seen many color changes in its travels.
