So a new thing happened to me yesterday in the Trial of air. I was trying to see if it was possible to take the old shortcut to the last platform with the Prophet of Air’s statue using the first of the last three wind boosts, and the wind wall blew me straight onto the platform with the next checkpoint

I know, but I don’t really use them. I actually enjoy doing all of the trials. But that particular skip is how I first completed it the day the trial of air was released. At the time, I actually thought that the last triple boost was meant to be impossible and that the devs intended that we use the skip once giving up on going the seemingly “right” way.

It seemed to make sense at the time. I tried using the triple boost like 100 times and kept falling, but landed on the final platform on my second try when I veered to the right from that first boost instead. I was like “Ah, I see! They are testing our ability to ride the air currents and use them to our advantage!” But

Air trial is what led me here. Now though the triple boost is super easy. Especially with the added checkpoint.

I didn’t like the air trial at first but when I started playing around with the air currents it became fun

I finished it the intended day, but stayed up late doing so. Reset is at midnight for me. It must have taken me at least an hour to complete. Fire took me 90 minutes, and that was with a friend who was kind enough to unlock warp.

my air and fire strategies so far are pretty much just "try again until it works" lol

That’s what you gotta do at first! They both took me a lot of practice to get good at. Now I can clear each in under 15 minutes. I know the way through fire like the back of my hand.

These are more for fun rather than speed-run, it’s much faster to go about the intended way! At least 3 of those skips were a 100% success rate but unfortunately one was patched

I actually really like how disorienting Fire was at first. It made it feel like I was actually being tested by some kind of spiritual guide. Now though the map is burned into my brain.

That being said I felt like crying the first time through.

I miss Prophecy! Still enjoy the trials but they aren’t challenging anymore. Maybe I’ll try some of those skips just for fun. I do hope that they include some type of challenges in a future season. I’m glad most seasons are mainly fun new ways to tell stories, but I do enjoy difficult gameplay occasionally.

I usually have the most luck with that quest in one of the social spaces. Doesn't necessarily have to be Prairie, I sometimes will try in Forest or Vault as well. If you keep server merging into an instance where the benches are used up, then just keep going home and trying again. Eventually it should work out

The quests will seem to not be available after the season, quests have never been available as travelling spirits.

It was stated in the recent patchnotes that the seasonal spirits will come back as TS but not the season-exclusive items (i.e asteroid cape/knight pants).

Tho it is understandable due to the unique nature of the season, copyright and legal stuff

No, the only ultimate gifts are the ones that you can purchase from the Rose with seasonal hearts after you complete the other seasonal spirit trees. The ❔ in the center of the constellation is just a placeholder/leftover from the old system where you unlocked the final cutscene for the season after completing everything else. But now the cutscenes are tied to the seasonal quests, so it just becomes a flag saying you completed it

Yes, the two IAPs that are in the shop right now (scarf and fox) will go away once the 7th seasonal quest becomes available. That will happen a bit before the season ends, so you have more time than what the counter in the shop says (that's just for the IAPs). If you want to see how many days are left in the season, it will tell you when you start the game in the message on the side, or when you click on the season symbol above the quest giver

If you have the adventure pass and have been playing from the beginning of the season, you can miss about 10 days and still complete everything, so you should be fine as long as you've been doing your quests every day so far
