I completed the entire spirit tree for Mr. Gat/dancing dude today! As a kid who sometimes does it with trenchcoats, I love the cape and how it slings on the back

Life hack: if you wanna sit floating on the water in the hot springs (or anywhere) do the emote and it’ll look like you’re floating on the water. It looks even better if you’re using the upgraded version. Hope this helps

Go the moment the spirit begins and just slide as fast as you can down the shortest route

Try not to fly or jump too high unless it’s a jump to touch the spirit

I didn’t need to jump or fly at all to complete it, just let the momentum of sliding do the work for you

If you’re doing two handed controls, just drag the camera to move around and don’t touch the joystick too much, I tend to have more control that way

You don't have to jump in the race, just pass through the spirit like normal

Jumping and flying will actually slow you down and make it harder in my experience. Goes for the normal valley races too

@indigo cradle There is a spot on the race where you have to go off a ramp that is a jump. If you don’t line it up correctly you fall off and can’t finish the race. I seem to do that on repeat.

Remember you don't have to exactly touch the spirits to get the next memory piece. The area in which you still get the next piece is huge and honestly as long as you're near either edge of the pole below the spirits, you'll be ok. Trying to hit the spirits themselves exactly can make you lose a ton of time

Since you're usually collecting 5 seasonal candles daily out of 6, in which you should be getting per day with the Pass, you can have 300 at the end adding the 35 you have now. You'll be able to get the cape by 5 candles short if you continue collecting just 5 seasonal candles daily.

If you mean it’s the ultimate gift, so you would need the adventure pass in order to get it. You buy the seasonal hearts from the top of the spirit trees (pass locked) and then buy the ults from the questgiver (also pass locked)

The second seasonal quest starts at the set of boats that goes up to the slope on the left, not the short one to the stadium. The girl spirit should be kneeling at the top, if it's just a spark when you get there it's bugged

@latent salmon I'm sorry for this ping 3 hours later, but I saw your bug report about the 2nd seasonal quest and just wanted to help you out: you're not supposed to be doing the bear emote, you're supposed to activate the gondolas/ski lift and ride them up to the top. At the top the skating girl's spirit should be visible, light her up and race her down the mountain to complete the quest.

Ohh try to restart your game and use the return shrine to go back and check if they did appear. There is a few bug in Dreams currently, but the spirits should be fine now, if not please leave a bug report here in discord. Seasonal quests are still not working properly for a lot of ppl including me.

I'm so frustrated because I don't manage to show fast enough to collect all of the spirit's lights before they disappear

Usually in previous seasons you could overcome that by catching the light with other players but the fact doing that in this season bugs the spirit... makes it very complicated

Also there's a delay before the lights appear

I saw somewhere that you can "fix" that bug, if you light it up, and the girl' spirit dissapear, disconnect the internet of your phone, wait a bit until it appears the spirit, and then connect the internet again.
At the end of the race, probably it will happen again, do the same and the bug will be fixed

It happened to me and I searched a video of the mission, cause I couldn't complete it, and they explained that and worked

@ashen ether I never had been stuck on the season bugs. When I finished the ice run, nothing's happening, I just stood still. Then it became completed, seems like a lag of completion.

The Dreams map is really intelligently designed, it's not that actually "huge" but the landscape and mountains gave a successful impression of a very large area. Though I lag there harder than Sanctuary

I usually play one-handed and doing the race was like trying to steer my Sky kid through jelly.

But using a controller made it super easy.

@stone girder In hidden forest, and in broken bridges precisely, there are two dark plants with a manta trapped in the ground, right under the root. Once you burn these plants, the manta will be free and go away flying

One dark plant is under the first broken bridge, close to the first gazebo. Another one is close to the cave where crying spirit is

Stand on bridge. Turn away from temple and jellyfish. Walk to end of bridge (away from temple) and then fly/jump again in straight line to entry to next area. Under the bridge is a manta hopefully you can burn and release the manta. If it is already released go home and then transport back again so it resets.

After the pipe area is the broken bridge, and then there’s the cutscene right? After the cutscene if the manta is gone then you can try to close and reopen the game, and you can go back to the location and burn the plant
