Two Embers Part 1 new activities after quest 5

Marketplace

• Shell game in one of the last stalls (close to the temple), very simmilar to the shell game from days of color, gives wax once.
• You can order bread from one of the first stalls you see after entering. No wax.
• You can get buns from stall in the middle of marketplace. No wax.
• You can get a hammer from the same NPC as during second seasonal quest.** Just for fun.**
• There is little memorial for Dusk Ember manatee near the wall opposite of Resourceful Recluse.
• You can eat fruits from two stalls without paying to make NPC angry. No wax.
• You can get tea from the same NPC as during first quest. No wax.

Secret temple

• You can lie down next to the candle (it calls to you) on same spot Dusk Ember and the manatee were sleeping for little surprise.

Street

• Find a kid near the scaffolding close to manatee pen and play rock tossing game for wax. Throw 3 rocks to the mine cart to get wax. Gives wax once. You get 5 rocks. Simmilar to plushie tossing game from days of color.
• Close to seasonal guide is kid NPC who offers you racing game. Gives wax once.
• Near the marketplace entrance are goal posts to play ball game. No wax.
• You can play with your manatee, pet it, make it sit, give it belly rubs. It joins you after you deep honk from anywhere on the street. If you make it sit and then deep honk, it jumps back up. If you bring the butterfly toy, you can toss it around by deephonking and play fetch with the manatee. The manatee follows you around (not in temple and marketplace) and gives instant recharge when nearby.

Ultimate cape area

• There is wax but you have to run around for it simmilar to 2025 Bloom event tickets.
• You can sit near the bushes.
• At :00 :20 and :40, Vault Elder enters the temple and you get little cutscene. Then leaves. You get 10 hours fast recharge spell. You have to re-enter the temple for the cutscene to start.

For plants with a lot of white, which keeps flying around & clipping through walls and floors, it's easier to count as they fly towards your hand

• or I stand far away and only let a few butterflies come to me, then I gradually get closer + do more emotes.

However, they made it so that if one butterfly comes to you, the whole group does, too.

I'll use this plant as an example. I took a screenshot and counted, but it also has some issues

(1) Some butterflies would clip into objects, so they're not visible
(2) Some butterflies do not glow, making them harder to see
(3) Sometimes, 2 butterflies take up roughly the same spot in 3D, that they look like 1 butterfly only in a 2D screenshot

It took me a couple of minutes + several screenshots to get the perfect picture

....yknow, i just had a thought, hear me out:

we live through presumably ||the memories of the Hopeful Steward or an ancestor||. Its possible we are the next in line of the Stewards bringing spirits to peace, and the spirits of the last city already made peace thanks to the efforts that we see and play through.

Another thought: the spirits we find are ones whose memories were never recorded in the Repository, so they lingered as they did due to having ZERO people remembering who they were. The spirits we meet clearly have their memories in the vessel we view, so they are able to rest.

Yes, they will go back to their deserving full rest once the season ends, but their presence in the skies does give us hope that maybe in time, they´ll choose to visit us still.

I´d say it is, at least when it comes to regular spirits, as we can always see their constellations. With seasonal ones, their seasonal constellation gives us locations of their otherwise-scattered stars for a time being.

thinking about the Patch Notes, for the Radiance Event, they said some specific dyes appear 'more frequently', so I'm guessing they mean the black & white dyes, but isn't the same gonna happen like with the double candle cakes? We can only collect 1 jar of black/white dye but during the event, we can just fill it up faster and that's it, it's not like we can collect more dye probably right?

I think Part 2 will not be just fire era alone but all the way from Prophecy to Shattering, each episode focusing on different stage of Alef/Resh life and looping back to where Part 1 ended for grand finale.

Alternative way is that part 2 first chapter will start where part 1 fourth chapter ended, those two meeting in the void, Stew showing up Alef that there is still good in the world and then it goes to show Alefs memories.

The whole movie is suposed to have 10 chapters and we have one chapter less in part 1 and one chapter more in part 2 to make it equal, I can see them making one "transition" chapter between the two parts.

||Even though let´s be honest, given how before 2E pretty much everyone our Skykids know is already a spirit I´d say that it´s not that that is causing them to hesitate in shelving the Lantern; instead, it´s actually seeing their demise with their own eyes if you ask me, as before they only got hints of that through other spirit memories. To actually see how they lost their lives is a whole another, way more serious matter that I don´t think they were ready for, especially after getting close to them as well as others. 😰😰||
