It means there are technical hardware or graphics driver issues with your PC. Try to update your graphics drivers and restart your device to try again.
Additionally, #known-issues and patchnotes explan that some outdated or incompatible devices don't support the cinema, those players can claim the tickets only by attending, not watching

i accidentaly found that if you do the meditation emote near the lantern it transports you to past too it still replays the quest though

it saves you a few clicks from opening the lantern menu and cliicking on relive memory

Sorry for the big text, I'm just really mad at how ridiculous Two Embers is in terms of the release schedule.

First, they hardly seem interested in marketing it that much. No character profiles or release trailers. But when it does release

They release it in the lore-breaking, uncomfortable cinema, that's not even available to all players! No youtube, and no sharing it personally! You have to go in the random cinema and watch it at an exact time. No accessible features allowed, only orange particles.

And I've heard from a friend that the Japanese version gets a celebrity voice actor to narrate it, while all other languages are in the dust?? And they release a special movie version with exclusive scenes for a limited time in Japan?? Are they trying to make it a commercial failure??

It just gets worse! Then we have part 2 released as a prequel, which means new players are gonna be thrown around without knowing what's going on, and it's not even gonna be continuous! We may have to wait a year for part 2, and by then, all the hype will die down.

After finishing the quest you can find all the spirits in the first quest area. If you left that area already, you can return by repeating the quest at the season guide. To avoid having to actually redo the quest, after the first cutscene, teleport home and use the return shrine.

If you have interacted with the spirits before and just want to talk to them, you can summon them through the constellation table. In order to return to old wasteland, repeat the first quest from the season guide in the cinema. You can avoid having to actually redo the quest, by teleporting home after the first cutscene and then using the return shrine.

I think festival mode is always enabled in the cinema unfortunately. If you are in festival Aviary, you can return to normal Aviary by meditating at the beginning or end of the village.

Just me, or does the spirits not sync up when with friends? When I was exploring with a friend, at least some of the spirits were different for each of our pov. Such as on my screen, my friend was booing at seemingly nothing, but then I see him get teleported into jail.

I'm on the Switch, trying to watch the Embers film on the giant screen. I've been sitting in front of it for nearly an hour, and it's remained nothing but a black monument. Why can't I watch the screening?

You teleport to the area, start the quest at the guide and then it teleports you into the quest

There not being a way to tp there without a quest is something for #live-feedback

The new season area though is in the past village, not the cinema, the cinema is just where the season quest giver sits like they used to hang around by the realm portals at home and Aviary. Just as you would TP from the realm portals through the quest giver or go direct to the collab room and reach the new season area that way, you would then talk to the quest giver there to start your new quest of just wonder around. If I go to the Moomin area now I can walk around or talk to the book and start a quest. You should be able to enter the new village area as well and then either go over to the quest giver lantern or just free roam.

No the quest area is an unlockable area on the map, so if your last location was the quest area you will be sent there if you use the return shrine

Hi! Hello~ Is there a way to see the current Season's area (Marketplace and spirits) Without doing the quest again? I have helped 5 friends meet the spirits they missed so far and I'm wondering if there is a faster way

You do have to start the quest but you don't have to finish it. After the first cutscene, go home and use the return shrine to skip the quest

You’re supposed to go there using the respective teleport spot of the collab room, but it's bugged. 🐛
As a workaround, (re)start the first seasonal quest — if you've already done it, you can go home and use the return shrine so you don't have to do it again.

@cursive quail You have to go to the manhole cover, use a shared space there to stool phase through the ground, enter through the portal that's down there, get teleported back up to the surface, and you'll be in a version of the season area that has a shared space shrine and the manhole is now uncovered. Go down it and you'll see an entirely new area.
To get to the top of the blue crystal, there are some teleport memories in this new area. Or you can rocket with a friend.

The Shattering is a historical event in sky in which the large crystal you see in Eden destabilized for some reason and turned red. The former color is likely blue, and it's likely that it's that crystal we're seeing in episode one of Two Embers
Season of Shattering is the seasonal event that introduced the mechanic of the shards that come to the different realms of sky. As part of this quest, we're able to witness various memories from Sky's history because they've been captured and held by the crystal. The final quest in the quest tree is the one that sends you to a memory of the Eden Crystal sending out a shockwave that's knocking the elders of all of the realms over. The tweet that was sent out by TGC pertaining to this specific quest references it being the final moment of The Shattering the historical event. So it is entirely appropriate to use the shattering symbol for the historical event because the season and the event are related. It was a lore dump.

On one hand, it’s really nice that it’s not another of those super priced capes iap

On the other hand, once the season ends, that limited area is now fully restricted to those with the cape, since ultimates don’t return

likely something new, if that one oob is the "special area", then it shouldn't be that easy to be accessed using simple oob tricks. Or it could be a similar case to the 9CD cape which is basically a shortcut to the golden tree glade with the deer as a bonus
