You can get from Festival Aviary Village to the Paths of the Wind. But you cannot get back. If you try you just get caught in a gust.

Although it makes my fave route obsolete: I go through Forest to the big candles in Flight; get the tc in the wind paths opposite Starlight; get the tc in the Hermit Cave; do the race down the mountain; do the music challenge; get the tc in the mountain spa then the one in Dreams and then take the boat to the temple where I get that nice big stash of candles. Yum.

I do get confused with how the return shrine works. Say I’m in forest, I return home. TP to friend that’s in vault, I return home. Turn off game. Log back in later and when I meditate to return to last place, I end up back in forest, when I wanted to be in vault

In stormlocked aviary, all portals will be closed, and the constellation won‘t be accessible. However, you can return to usual aviary if you didn‘t already save statures in Eden using one of these methods:

• enter the spell shop or the cape shop and go back. (The other store entrances won‘t work)

• As an alternative method, you can chibi fall into the Eden gate, enter the social area in Eden and go home from there

There are some things in the new 0.23.5 Update that some people can see, and some that can't see, I will be splitting the 0.23.5 Update into 2 groups: 0.23.5 (A) and 0.23.5 (B)

Noting the animation for the door here - each of the elders now draws a golden line in at the top half of the door, and you fill in the bottom area of the door with the singular darkstone shard inside of eden's social area

so it seems likely group A is some kind of in development change to the overall presentation of the eden door for new players

Though I was in a group of strangers, so who knows what combo we had there.

I think the group B switches might be designed around getting multiple people, and you can get server merged into someone who has the door open already, and so it just slams open
whereas im guessing the future of group A will be you as an individual open the door when you're ready to go through

they may want that door not to server merge slam open for new players, heh

interesting. before the update, on mobile i was group B, but now my mobile is group A

or well, i could only assume group B because aviary home wasnt there yet and i believe i had 5 crystals

the only difference i can come up with between my friend immediately and I are that they haven't completed every past season quest yet, but I cant imagine that being the trigger for the grouping, though there were some weird issues found out about capeless players being unable to do some seasonal stuff so im not really sure what could be triggering it lol

do know there's a #known-issues where you might spawn in home space instead when you restart even if you set aviary as home

There’s a portal back to home near the entrance to the aviary. There’s a meditation circle that will take you back home. Once you’re home there’s a big white candle next to the closets that can set your home back to home.

The problem is that even if you don’t change which is your home, the old home doesn’t get the daily tasks or seasonal daily candle any more, so you still have to run all the way across the aviary to collect your tasks and get your candle.

How exactly is Wind Paths broken?
The only recent issue that comes to mind was the one that caused people to lose seasonal candles, but that was fixed a while back.

Ah, that might not be a Wind path specific issue, Wind paths is just the most annoying with it.
A lot of the time when I enter an area transition, I am facing the wrong way.

Then what do you mean how is it broken- . its very specific to the wind path- i come facing one 1 expecting to enter. if i come in and im facing backwards then you say you expereince getting shot straight back into wind path and not the seasonal area

I'm not saying it isn't an issue, I'm saying it's not exclusive to the Wind Paths, but because those paths involve shooting you in whatever direction you are facing, you get blasted back the wrong way, or start doing barrel rolls until you get dizzy.

Usually, melting a certain amount of Darkness will cause more Shards to fall, which means a wave, but they can also fall over time without melting any Darkness

I do have crashing issues with my old phone as well, it started happening during Shattering when entering Valley or GW. Now, I totally can’t enter concert nor Prairie Peaks without crashing But Iphone 6+ is almost 10 years out in the market so the crashing is perfectly reasonable

Not yet (for me at least), I moved a lot and deep honked to see the ledge where we used to jump to and it looks incredibly farther away than it was before
I’ve read some people say the one thing that changed was the jumping mechanics, but to me also that whole right wall looks somewhat different

I’ve also seen people say it didn’t change much for them and it’s only a little more difficult, so I wonder if that might be another difference for the A/B group of update

I feel like going to wasteland social area is like slipping into some kind of cursed realm
last time i spent time there, there was a moth lookin fella adding everyone on sight to which one person spammed no and then alt+f4'd. Then they added one strange fellow who had the festival staff and moth antennae... 3 weeks early

i tried going through maps as a capless new acvount. and they updatd so you head to wastland. back when i joined

all i could do is hink and see where to aim, but could like endlessly wonder all thise clouds. now it seems the wind auto carry you to wasteland so a new approaching player wouldnt have this issue

Mhm, still makes me sad that they did things like make us unable to play in the rain, I sometimes wish they had an option like to turn off player guides\protections lol

I personally feel like jump became somehow faster in speed (maybe even walking too?), but also shorter in a sense that you go down faster as well and more rapidly. At some point it feels like I just stop and fall down like ummm a sack of potatoes. Playing on Android.

It has also affected other trials for me as well. In some sense it's easier now - air trial jumps didn't need to be so calculated in distance, but on the other hand - I fell down from platforms quite a lot, which wes not a problem before. Like there's no edges on the platforms (which my char knew not to cross before). It just feels more chaotic, like I don't control my char much. Unpleasant.

Other trials, I'd say, become easier bc fast jump is all that's needed, but I still don't like how chaotic it feels.

you can't really curve a jump midair any more. you can still spin the body, but not change direction. so you have to commit to a jump direction now.

Earth skip is still possible but it is stricter now since the ledge snapping is more stringent. I used to be able to do earth trial skip as chibi, but after the patch I can't do it anymore. I have to be regular sized (my friend who's tall has an even easier time)

I imagine they changed the way the game calculates the movement when you jump. I imagine the graph looked more um stable before. cuz now you start a jump and you shoot like an arrow duper fast and fall right after, just straight down

yeah fire works as usual (the setup is a bit more strict now, but it's lenient enough that it's not a big deal). I thought earth was gone until someone showed me it's still possible and my friend (who took tall potions) did the skip in a single try. IDK about air because I hate that level lol

Out of curiosity, the ones that are still able to do the fire trial shortcut jump… do you have one or five pedestals at the entrance of Eden? and can you still claim your dailies at the og home or not?

it requres a lot of spamming. the thing you approach the corner if before the jump. you should see some space behind you . i reccomend going back then doing a double jump off that ledge like one hop then jump or if chibi 2 hops then jump. once ur in the air it helps to slightly spam where ur fly buttin would appear even if its not showing just smack it while still holding the joystick forward. if yr sky kid temporarily see its arms flight mode it can land easier

When I entered fire and started climbing the wall to even do the jump and it didn't climb I was so confused I thought I'm seeing things and should get more sleep. Turned out everything is just uncomfortable now
