Hehe I had a really funny experience today

I went to prairie with the passage guide outfit because why not funny things happen there. Then after sharing a light with a player that had mostly normal items they called me to a bench to talk. I sat then they asked me if I was a man. I said no I’m a bear. Then they said they needed a man to relieve a spirit and I said I’m an experienced player and I could help them. We went to gw and I relived the spirits for him. Then I sat on a table with him and said “ Btw, I’m a female bear”

And in the end we opened chat and became friends! The end

…idk how I feel about Days of Music so far; it’s certainly very different from Days of Color where there were flashier things to do and fewer things to buy. I can’t remember whether the previous multiple TS weeks were specifically labelled as “Days of Whatnot”, but as a vet who already has all the spirit trees, these just don’t mean a lot to me unless I can get new wing buffs. OTOH newer players may be more hyped and more stressed by having to choose what to farm for.

tl;dr— DoM for me is just going to add a temporary new farming sweep to find enough tickets for the sax

For me, as a new(er) player (Aurora moth), it's actually made it less stressful. Now I don't feel I have to grind like mad for a TS, because they come more often, and new event stuff isn't gated behind the same currency everything else uses anymore. Meaning I don't have to choose old or new anymore, like I used to. As someone that doesn't have a huge stockpile of candles (most I've EVER had is 290, and that was from Passage ending), it's nice to not have to grind like crazy and hope I have enough.

But this is coming from somebody who knows how to moderate myself. I want to get everything as a completionist/collector, but I know I can't right now. I choose what I want most and move on. This event, it's the fox mask and maybe a cape, skipping the rest. I may have an advantage in that that the younger and more impulsive players don't have, though...

there's the base game music instruments, the one you can always get from the base game constellation. there's seasonal instruments that you'd need to wait for a certain ts to return if you want it. there's music instruments that cost real money (iap), and i guess we have an event instrument now (saxophone) that is event exclusive and whether they return next year is unknown.

(That would be 20 tickets a week…if you can only get five of each spell per week, and not day. Wait…is there’s a third spell you can get with tickets? There’s a spell you can buy along with the free spells…but I forgot if that’s for candles, or tickets. 😓)
