They can do something similar but only to the lookout tower, technically it’s also used for intel, how would they otherwise find it, give it plasma levels but increase stamina production or lower stamina requirements on each Plasma level

One of their biggest problems as a company is being wildly out of touch with and ignoring trends in gaming. While their other investments and partnerships are attempting to innovate block chain/web3 gaming, their FunPlus offices are still stuck in 2020.
It's 2024 and there are significant changes in gaming, from massive layoffs to the implementation of AI to the rising focus in fully fleshed games and less live-service to what feels like a renaissance for indie companies breaking away from the norms.

They can either get with the times and get people on staff who understand and can implement various strategies to adapt and efficiently use the market trends, or they can do what they're doing.

It's like when a tech company only has a bunch of 90 year olds making decisions and then they wonder why they aren't connecting with the 18-25 demographic.

Sure, their CEO is of my generation, and I think I'm actually older than him, but the company itself is still making decisions based on old methods and outdated conditions.

The global economy is a joke, and people are not going to keep sustaining the fiscal revenue of a mobile gaming company when most of us are having to prioritize work in order to live at an inflated cost.

They need to figure it out.

Simply acquiring companies and licensing shells to develop games before then acquiring those isn't working as well as they want. Yet they keep doing it.
So if it means restructuring and hiring people on in order to be community focused and assist with assessing those trends, then cool. They should do that.
But having only two Community Managers for one of their top 3 grossing games who can't be on 24/7? That's silly. Hire people in different time zones at least, so there is coverage.

They're really bad at balancing what is given for engaging/participating, what is given as an incentive, and what is available for purchase. To them, it's a completely legitimate strategy to reduce freely available content in lieu of purchase content. They don't seem to consider that one contributes to the other.

If they aren't making the incentives worthy, and only giving players who are actively playing and grinding less than the bare minimum required to do things, that isn't going to then make them paying players. That will make them leaving players.

Most "healthy" and playerfriendly games work in a way that you basically pay to instantly have something that otherwise requires daily effort and reasonable amounts of time to gain. Reasonable means more of a months to a year, not years....

Here it is more of a pay or never get it because timeframes needed are so big that it looks impossible.

They'll opt for properties from companies who invest more into their players, even if it's only the slightest bit more.
Plus, it's commonplace these days for consumers to be aware of from whom they are purchasing. We are in a world where everything is owned by a handful of parent corporations and splits into subsids, and if it comes down to it, people will not choose anything related to FunPlus because of their experiences. This includes any parents, partners, or subsidiaries.

Also, there's a lot more focus on regulation, operation, and finances of these companies, as we're seeing with this Boeing thing and Apple's tax evasion in Australia. That trickles down to gaming corporations, so they aren't untouchable.

They need to get it sorted.

Main problem here is FP management pushing too much paid only content into the game. If they do not change that then nothing we send will help. Even if feedback is sometimes listened to they do it in a very skewed way.

We kept complaining there was no way to get new plane materials so they finally added it to fiends. Great change in right direction you might say? Sure, it might look like that until you do simple math and come to the fact that we need more than 2200 days of killing lvl 6 fiends to max new plane. Amount they put in is nowhere near enough, it would need to be at the very last 6 times what it is now and that will never happen

That's why I'm asking ... if you were a developer for 1 day ... what would you change and why. How would it benefit all (or even most)? Looking at the game strength ... what would bring more people to play or have you telling people to come play it with you?

For now easiest thing would be to finally update rewards.... It should take minutes of work at most if they are competent. Plague zone, fortress and bunkers, fiend, intel rewards.... It should all be tied automaticaly to state progress so they dont need to keep on changing things manually for every state in existence...

Plague zone could give some capsules and potions for upgrading one of one old generation hero. Maybe make it work on rotation so that this hero gen it gives us older gen raider, next hero generation it would give older gen infantry etc.

Intel should stop giving uselles stuff, no more hero badges, no more purple hero fragments... Remake it all so it gives stuff for heroes one generation old, if state is on gen 14 then intel gives gen 13 frags, maybe a little bit of potions in gold intel. Stop giving uselles t1 troops...

There is just so much they could do but it all ultimately comes to one point- making more stuff available to get just by playing the game and they will not do it as it is contrary to their main focus- putting out as much paid content as possible....

Its not only for f2p but everyone. The more stuff they give by playing the less stuff spenders need to buy. Players cant be put against one another and feel as if something is given for free because then there will be resentment from biggest spending group "Why the hell are they getting everything for free when I paid for it so much money?"- one of the recent angry feedbacks about lower bundle prizes shows exactly that thinking^

Items are not given to us for free, we are "earning" them by playing so effort&time invested. Ultimately what needs to change is awareness that it is a GAME, not a shopping platform. Earning stuff by playing and taking part in events is absolutely normal.

I would very much like to rebut this. As someone who has dabbled in code and scripting something like a prize, or the amount of said prize is less than 5 minutes work and most of that 5 minutes is finding the right line of code.

Each prize and its amount should be saved as a variable. To change from legendary badges to limitless potions should be as little work as changing a single block of text.

Coding in new heroes sure. They have to set up the animations and everything. But prize changing should be very fast overall. As it is almost never done, we just wait on the pleasure of middle managers who want a specific game and we're not there yet.

In my opinion, it is. It is said it depends on the amount of troops in hospital and the current duty, but in my own experience it is indeed quite random. The 2nd point mentioned in the Enlistment Office information hint is (almost) true tho--you can obtain duty directly from:
From doing the daily tasks (exactly the tasks, not the Daily Reward crates you open, so you want to finish all of them to get maximum of additional duty). You get around 640 duty points per 10 daily points you make.
From collecting rss from your settlement farms (rather than gathering from tiles, which in my experience again does not give any duty at all). If gives you some duty for the amount of rss tapped off. You might want to activate 1 day Labour Boost for your settlement farms as well as get Mighty Ox from the gov to cope with a lot of enlistment.
