I have a [scuffed] solution to this ongoing problem but thought I might as well propose it in case it can be developed on
What if there was a command in AMP that could give and take an "immortal" role with the current qualities of the immortal role to boosters only, with this role being above both clan and rank roles. This would be again; scuffed, but it would allow people who boosted the server to keep their blue colour and immortal icon if they so choose, and allow boosters who want to use their rank colour do so.
Meanwhile the current immortal role; the role discord gives to everyone who boosts, could be invisible and below the ranks; there it would give all the perks of immortal, except for the colour and icon. This way people who have boosted the server can choose whether or not they want to have the immortal colour and the immortal icon over their role colour and icon/clan colour and icon.

Remove the meta filter for ~RPA. Issues with people using really meta prompts should be a user-related issue. I.e someone keeps using it, they're told to stop. After all, the game was made for people to have fun. If two people consent to using ULTRAGIGANUKES against each other then so be it. Why I have a problem with it: The bot keeps filtering out things that aren't meta, and sometimes doesn't filter out meta. It's pretty unreliable?

Clan badges are extremely cool but I feel like they're underutilized. Maybe there could be "clan achievements" as well not to be confused with "clan badges". Clan badges can in most cases only be held by one clan, while clan achievements are things that clans can do and keep forever. For example there could be a clan achievement for getting first place on the lb the first time, or there could be clan achievements for allying your first buddy. Maybe clan managers could get creative with this and have some specific obtainment methods which could be fun, although I think most of them would be "do x for the first time" which imo would still be pretty cool. This could be something defined clans can work towards IE; goals they can set and achieve. Making clans overall less directionless (hopefully)

It's not actually that scary to me but it probably would be to whatever poor soul would have to program it in should this suggestion make it by. I think that clans could really use some kind of better reward for activity and the such; so why not let them buy stuff out from a store akin to the shop command with unbelievaboat?
As an incomplete example maybe the messages could be like the currency and you could for example buy a perk for your clan; what would a perk be? Well perhaps a perk could be something that a clan can buy from THE CLAN STORE that alters (not necessarily benefits I'd think they'd just be silly things that now happen in your clan channel; you should probably also be able to toggle them off and on if you're leader or co leader) the clan experience. For example one of the perks could cause AMP to monke every once in a while, or one of the perks could give access to a lounge for only clans that have said perk.
But THE CLAN STORE!!! doesn't need to just be used for these "perks". THE CLAN STORE!!! could be used for way more then that. Maybe you could put badges on some form of quest board in THE CLAN STORE!!! so that people can aim for specific goals that there are badges for. Or... there could even be invasions added through THE CLAN STORE!!! (Hear me out)-
it's possible that people may be able to buy temporary access to another clans channel; clan managers would probably have to be very careful to make sure this just stays silly and fun, not toxic or anything. But I think it would be silly.

The current method for clan activity checks IMO is heavily flawed (and I also think most people suggesting changes like increasing the message minimum would still have the same problem). Most active clans are active in different ways from each other, and some inactive clans could theoretically be inactive in just the right way to avoid getting warnings.
This could be solved by… programming a more complex system for it and baking it into AMP 🐬! What this more complex system could entail is keeping track of things like word count in the clan and character count, possibly reaction count, image count, that kind of thing. Clans can then pass one of multiple benchmarks in order to be considered as active in order to pass the activity check, they could get by through any of the following: 500 messages (increased from previous 400), 6000 words, or 50 (if possible unique) images. This would allow clans to form to their type of activity, for example a clan mainly for just general conversation would be most likely to get 500 messages, a clan mainly for in depth conversation would be most likely to get the word count, and a clan mainly for [x] posting would be most likely to get the image count.
Maybe more options could also be added, or maybe some options could be adjusted. I will also admit that this system would also be flawed, but in my opinion it’d be significantly less flawed then what we currently have! Would also save on some weekly work theoretically since atp AMP would hopefully be able to do activity checks for the Clan Managers.

Sidenote: Spam is already a thing which could theoretically cause issues for message count. Using word count wouldn’t really be that much worse, this might be able to be mitigated by enforcing anti-spam rules in clan channels and/or allowing clan managers to manually numbers from the count via command.
Sidenote 2: Leaderboard should probably still go off message count since it’s the most general

Rather than count all the messages up in a singular, quick sweep, log the messages over time as they are sent or deleted (as it is clear to all that discord has so-called “bot functions” which allow one to detect any of these given activities). Thusly, it becomes increasingly simple and less tolling on the discord API to create clan leaderboards which trail over time. But do not simply look to me as proof of this suggestion’s success in the real world! For @drifting sleet has already achieved much using this bountiful method. If you don't know what space station 14 is, its a Roleplay game, solely multiplayer. Every human/demi-human/alien race, is an actual player that normally(in more or less default servers) is on a space station, they work together to keep the station running. Everything is run by players. The bar, the kitchen, medbay, command, everything. The rounds for said game can be hours long, with a randomly selected Antagonist(s) trying to sabotage or whatever else their task may be. The antagonist can range from a couple different things, from a simple thief to a full on zombie/flood(from Halo) outbreak. All of which are players.

But you can also make your own custom stuff, like one server is a full on Fallout inspired server, while another is a Aliens inspire server with marines vs Xenomoprhs and stuff.

A clan "Level" system that encourages them to be active and is added to be badges and event wins.
Every week on places 1 - 4 on the leaderboard, event wins, badges, and role and color acquisition can add to it.
While this is only visual I think it would encourage clans to be more active and involved.
Warnings for inactivity would take away a significant amount, as would behavior warnings.
Each level would be harder to achieve. If all clans started out at level 1, level 2 might take 10xp, then 3 might take 25, 4 might take 50, so on. I think it would be capped at level 10.

Make a large point among admins to reply to every suggestion! Even if it's as simple as "we'll keep it in mind" or "no" I think it would drastically help to have all of this communicated so that people at-least know they're being listened to (even if their requests aren't even being acted on). This would also help to prevent repeat suggestions, as I have often seen people put in suggestions multiple times after their first suggestion has no response a few weeks after the fact.
Giving every suggestion a response would be a nice way to increase engagement between admins and the general community while being an extremely small effort commitment given the low amount of suggestions there currently are.

Alright, first off I'll say why I (and others) don't like the new level up message:

1. It is not the iconic older woop woop message(yes this is biased for it being older but it's still a reason)
2. The first paet reads in a way which I can only describe as "corporate" and "soulless", it feels like the kind of thing YouTube would hit me with after I buy premium. It leaves a bad taste.
3. The emoji choices, other than which was also in the previous message, is a emoji that is NOT USED AT ALL! It has been used in ~140 messages! And all the newer messages using it are referencing the new rank up message! A similar situation for although it has more with +2k messages and is used more for reactions, still, a number of its newer uses are also just referencing the new level up message. These emojis offer no representation of what is regularly used in wb, save also the fact that has barely any connection to the preceding sentences...
   4.Unnecessarily long, a rank up message doesn't need to be that long— it's fine that the server administration wants to appreciate the members for talking on the server but... Why like this? This is a disliked choice that even goes against the essence of what you're telling the users through the new level up message.

(WHY WAS IT EVEN CHANGED? Wasn't it fine as it was? What need was there to change the message.)

Imagine this: the map is split into squares, and each clan can colonize one using tokens. The size of each square can be figured out later by staff, i will give mine for example, it could have points of interst on land and relics/ruins in the sea.

Clan Tokens — Clan Currency

Here’s how tokens work:

Your clan earns 1 token per day if you hit 1,000 messages that day.

Every week, the 4 most active clans get bonus tokens:
1st – 4 tokens
2nd – 3 tokens
3rd – 2 tokens
4th – 1 token

Points of Interest

Some map tiles could be special spots — like towns, dungeons, or towers — and they’d slowly generate extra tokens over time.

Territory Rules

Claiming a territory costs 10 tokens.

Special territories cost 20 tokens.

Attacking another clan's territory costs 15 tokens

And yes… clans can steal territories from other clans

Clan Colors

Clans can choose their own territory colors to customize their land on the map!
Only the Clan Leader or Aristocrats can change the color, to keep things organized and stylish

Time limit

Once the map is totally filled, it will be reseted in a month's time, in that while clans can go crazy and attack each other to the last breath and then we see who won at the end.

The Goal?

The idea is simple: see which clan can conquer and fill the whole map!

Addition of /clan-rivalry Commands

– I suggest the addition of a /clan-rivalry command that lets clans officially declare rivalries. It would be similar to the /clan-alliances command, although each clan can only have one active rival at a time.

Proposed commands:

/clan-rivalry declare [clan] – Starts a rivalry. The bot checks if the declaring clan has no active rival and the target clan isn’t already in a rivalry. Then a pop up will appear in the other clan’s channel for their leader to accept or decline the rivalry.

AMP has no access to knowing your level, once you selected any lower role it’d have no way of accurately knowing what roles you’re currently eligible for. Automatic reselects would also be prone to abuse in the contract of the economy since you could go through every level role you’ve ever had and ,collect with each one. Also, while I don’t know the context your last claim is stemming from, I can assure you that if an admin chose to not comply with giving someone some level role (which they’re within their right to do given they’re literally an admin), they probably wouldn’t want whoever that is to be able to do it themselves.

I can very much understand the sentiment and it'd be nice if this idea was feasible, but there's a global limit for how many threads Discord allows a given server to have open at once and once said limit is hit, it completely prevents the creation of new threads. We're always dangerously close to said limit to a point where we've hit it accidentally before just from automatically created threads, making it of high importance to quickly get threads closed automatically if they're not being used anymore even if no human remembers explicitly to close them. If an old suggestions thread needs to be reopened for whatever reason, you can ask any staff member to do so.

If it ends up being added anyways, then it's not a lack of transparency ("probably") instead it's a miracle. The current situation with events isn’t exactly great, this is no secret. Events are currently spaced months apart—and when they do happen—they’re often simpler events instead of larger ones. By having a lack of events, we are missing out on a lot of new member activity; many members—including myself, originally had our activity spurred on by events. This can even be seen with the RP category—which isn’t even exactly an event—where people are becoming active there before growing into active members of the community. In order to continue/revive this trend, we would need more events.

How are we going to get more events though, exactly?
Well—I suspect that a lot of people have an event they want to host; people are frequently asking for event crew applications—and there are often things like Map Wars being hosted—which take a similar amount of preparation in many cases to server wide events. In theory, there is enough overall interest in the server to host things for other members—which means that it should be possible in theory to redirect some of this attention to server events.

However, this runs into a major issue; these people are not on event crew—and those that are don’t appear to be pumping out a significant amount either. But I believe that there is a way to more easily filter out people who aren’t actually hosting anything and grow event crew in a way where it is generally more active.

My exact idea:
Streamline a way for non event crew to pitch events—then host them shortly afterwards. If event managers/crew see the event as quality enough to host, then the event gets hosted From there—if the event is a success they can be added to event crew proper—ideally making long term growth for events hosted based directly on output. Which should ideally bring about an ‘era’ of increased activity/member intake/upkeep in the server.

A minor economy revamp.

Hey folks, I'd like to suggest a revamp for the ,work and ,crime commands so the server economy feels more meaningful and active again. Both commands have a very short cooldown but only give around 500 cc on average, making them feel low-impact and repetitive, making the feature forgotten by most players.

The solution? Increase the cooldown, to probably around 10 minutes while also raising payouts. Total earnings stay about the same, but the longer cooldown makes the work & crime commands more worthwhile and noticeable.

Those who have 10 mil actually immune to the clan deletion, but with additional steps, so i suggest to simplify it and save existing clan channel
Maybe, it should work only for inactivity warning, but still if clan deleted by receiving two warnings for any other reason, owner who has 10 mil still will be able to recreate it anyway, so i guess the warning reason doesn't matter

It still matters because a new clan doesn’t carry over any rewards or accomplishments or progress the old clan may have gotten, and keeping such things is an ability we explicitly do not want anyone to have if they can’t manage to keep their clan at a bare minimum level of activity.

Preface: I am aware that this sounds harsh—and do not take this as a “every current admin should retire” since they shouldn't. There also isn’t an inciting incident for this other than a little bit of reflection.

I’ve noticed a bit of a problem in the admin team that I think needs to be addressed; instead of new blood being brought in—with the new ideas associated. When an admin retires, they either aren’t replaced at all—or are replaced by an admin who retired six months ago. This revolving door isn’t a sign of stability, it’s a sign of stagnation. We won’t know what we’re missing until there is genuinely someone new closer to the helm—until then—there won’t be change in the server.
While stability is nice, it’s not necessarily what the server needs right now in my opinion. The community has changed a lot in the past year—however the administration hasn’t. This creates a conflict where what would be best for the modern community isn’t necessarily what the admins are focusing on. Of course, that’s not to say the admins are doing a terrible job—that would be beyond an over-exaggeration. The server is certainly ‘good enough’, but I think with the right new perspectives and a little bit of risk taking—it could be so much better.
We haven’t seen a truly new admin since exactly one year today if my ‘math’ is right based on this message in WorldBox history: #📜worldbox-history message , since then—we’ve had a full cycle of Ujjwal himself departing the admin team—despite being the newest admin on the block on paper. I believe that this is reasonable evidence that the server is—in fact—developing too slowly to accommodate for changes in the community.

So next time an admin retires—don’t leave them unreplaced and don’t replace them with a former admin. Look for someone fresh to add to the team—someone who joined 2024 or later is preferable.

we could give an suggestions unique number

and using special command, like /sdelete write number of suggestion, and then bot will delete it

I would write /sdelete 33

@severe patio wrong issue with the suggestion, it would only let users delete their own messages, which you would store their id to the message/number, the real issue is that you would need something like AMP to do it, not Yag since yag won't store all that info

Then mods just copy paste it into the common suggestions channel.

this is @fathom elbow idea not mine. His suggestion is to add a channel for where staff can copy and paste the most popular game suggestions so maxim doesn’t have to scroll through lines of text to find suggestions. And with that channel being added there is a new designated role to watch the #💡game-suggestions channel. But any admin or moderator can do that role as well.
