Add guns to the game! I have many different ways the guns could be used

  1. Military can use muskets in combat and use it in 16th century type of formation.
  2. During rebellions, citizens can smuggle weapons and attempt to assassinate their ex-leader.
  3. sniper tower
  4. Hunter could be a job and they could use rifles to hunt deer and such
  5. Poachers could be hunters that hunt animals with the least amount of population
  6. Cannons could be mounted on ships
    7.harpoons could be used on dragons to drag them down and capture them for a kingdom’s use

dragons blood tree, imagine a golden brain, put 3 right next to each other, and thats the size of the dragons blood tree, one golden brain will be the size of its trunk wherease all its massive branches will take up about 3 golden brains of space, the dragons blood tree is a huge tree that will drip blood rain that heals players. the humans will stand right next to one to gains its blood, the elves will build a temple in it, the orcs will try to destroy it, and the dwarves wont even go near it. it is a living entity already so it wont be effected by walking trees, its gonna stay in its place. it has so much health only a tsar bomb can destroy it, or the axe tool. remember it has so much health that a tsar bomb can destroy it, so in theory the orcs can destroy in like a thousand years minimum. the more damage it takes the more blood it drips. when its destroyed it is replaced with a corrupted biome where it once was. oh right, dragon blood, dragons will protect the tree and perch on it, the tree cant be set on fire. it will gain a small health buff it spawned on the savannah becoz yknow, dragons blood tree, take the real one as an example for what it will look like, you can only see its top with its branches visible on the edges

cultures are more or less only have differences in clothing and in tech but what if they even acted different. Basically add ideologies, they are like an AI that shapes how a civ behaves. Nomads wander or simply claim land and don’t build over it, Conquerors raid and demand tribute in slaves or loot, Egalitarianists accept other races and incorporate some of their buildings and architecture into their settlements, Merchants love to trade, etc. etc.

Morals : A new system for civs. It sorta works like the Stellaris Ethics system. You have Four Kinds of Axises, Millitarists vs Pacifists, Nomads vs Kingdoms, Magical vs Tech, Isolationist vs Egalitarian. Each nation will slide differently on the scale. You can have The Realm of Igo a nomadic, magical, egalitarian, pacifist nation of mostly elves. They don't build structures, have an organized religion based around druid magic, they like orcs and humans but hate dwarves, and they don't tend to attack other nations but prefer to defend instead. You can also have the Doukai, a millitarisitc, isolationist, tech based, kingdom of hateful conquerors who will raid and enslave the races of other factions. Though maybe you can have another similar faction like this in your world against slavery who fights the Doukai off. Also kingdoms will splinter if they have ideological differences so its the responsibility of diplomats to convert others to their faction's ideology. They will also travel to neutral factions and attempt to persuade them to join their ideology. this can create vassal states but can also cause the neutral faction to become hostile if the ideological beliefs of that nation or culture are strong.

Artifacts sometimes nations after surpassing a certain tech level, may develop the ability to create randomly generated magical artifacts that grant the user different abilities. Also when civilizaitons crumble to ruins, people can explore the ruins of ancient civs and maybe learn their tech faster. Say you had an advanced human civ neighboring a less advanced orc civ on another island and the human civ was wiped out by idk nukes or zombies, now the orcs who go their can scavenge the ruins for ancient artifacts or tech blueprints to upgrade their tech faster

About a month ago, I suggested a solution to the "meat problem". This is that continued.

Herds were the solution I presented, an easy way to maintain a source of meat. They are made up of sheep, cows, chickens and/or rabbits. Herds are lead by a shepherd, who leads the herd much like a leader leads an army. To be able to have herds, cultures will need to research herding (which could be further expanded into domestication for cats and dogs. Animals will need to be caught by the shepherd to join the herd, at which point they aquire a collar that matches the colour of their kingdom.

Unemployed/kids: not really a unit, they'll just sit by the campfire telling tales and such

WORKERS

Farmer Unit: These ppl will not carry weapons, they will just go to the farms to harvest wheat/plant them each month in game (will not join military)

Hunter Unit: These ppl would usually carry Spears, and will hunt down sheep, chicken, cow, etc (will not join military)

MILITARY

Archers: These Agile soldiers will do Barrage of Arrows and such, but will have the lowest health (will have Eagle Eyed, Fast and Agile Trait)

Light Infantry: The ones that just started, will not do much dmg and will not have that many health, but still works (no special traits)

Heavy Infantry: These powerful men will do tons of damage and have many health, but will be slightly slow (will have Tough, Strong, Big and Veteran trait)

Priests/Healers: For healers, i think they'll have red crosses on their shirt design and will heal at least 3 wounded soldiers, for priests, i think they'll have cool magic spears to heal wounded soldiers

MONARCHS AND GUARDS

Knight: Protects the King, and when a king doesn't have a child, theres a slight chance one of the knights will be the heir

Queen and King: The rulers of the land, some may be cruel, some may be good, but oh well, everything works for me (:< (will have Ambitious Trait and ofc Golden Tooth traits, but maybe devs should add Red Crown trait, symbol of the two split kingdoms getting unified, reference to ancient egypt, and a Cruel Trait perhaps?)

Princes and Princesses: The Heir to the king (idk what special traits they have LMAO)

Doing the quests (this means answering their prayers) affect the citizen, village and/or kingdom belief value. your suggestion "sleeping pills" where it sets creatures into a sleeping state that they become immobile in and consume 1/10 the food (can be toggled in settings), and during sleep the creature cant react to anything or move, this affects things like zombification, MUSHification, getting attacked and other similar effects, this effect can be cancelled by using coffee but they don't gain the speed effect, this can be useful for dragon zombies without setting the world on fire, or using monsters as decoration or to progress certain events but not other ones

add a “first contact” state to civs. I hate that they wage war despite being in different continents on opposite sides of the world before the invention of boats. If civs don’t know that others exist they should have a 0% chance of waging war and after fist contact is made the chance of waging war should be reduced for a period of time. This also makes single continents more fun because you’ll have every little bit of time with all your starter civs.

The king system that is already in place is amazing now, and i don’t really think you should tweak it that much, but i do have a really nice idea for if. So every time a king dies, the villagers pick a new king, i think you should make a tab that shows the previous kings of that kingdom, kind of like in avatar when Aang enters the avatar state and sees all the previous Avatars. I think that would be a really nice detail in the game so that you can look back to who was the first king of a certain kingdom.
