Grand Washington Hotel is invaded this week.
Perfect week to start the Nemesis project, or get that blueprint you been waiting for.

After you get the Tidal Basin piece , change mode for invaded stronghold back to invaded. Complete again for another nemesis piece (stronghold dependent). With any 2 pieces in hand set GWH back to invaded and the blueprint will drop. Nemesis can be farmed from Marksman Rifle Target Loot after that, regardless of project completion.

Although BfB seems to have done very well (I can speak from the discord server side that it's a lot of new faces), so I wouldn't rule new DLC out, but so soon feels like a stretch.

It definitely appears that after the reception of Brooklyn, Ubi shifted a lot more resources onto Div 2. This might have been actually planned even before release of Brooklyn but the DLC reception confirmed their moves. I wouldn’t be surprised if we get something like a new game mode by the end of the year. Usually game modes are somewhat easier and build and test due to limited amount of content needed for it. We will see, Brooklyn sure injected a lot of fresh energy into the game.

i doubt it will be DLC due to sheer amount of content needed to release something even of the scope of Brooklyn

just remember right now, if running the global modifiers, you will likely have a lot more chance than normal. so when checking stats turn off the modifiers

from experience, in normal play (no seasonal modifiers) at around 50-52% it's kind of ok in personal experience as getting those 8% more gets into the diminishing returns category out of the 60% CHC cap. However, with seasonal modifiers this season you can actually push it to 100% so my builds are now at around 58-60% base and then up to 100% when I hit the active modifiers. This is on all blue striker mind you and Backfire.

From what I can tell you, on my HC agent, I'm running SMG on striker build with Uzina Getica chest/bag (for 5% total armor + 10% armor on kill). I am running actually SIG MPX since i love Backfire and this gives me about 50% CHC, so I can put in some extra CHD on top of it all. Granted, this is HC so I'm more defensive. on SC, pretty much standard is Grupo or Ceska for chest, if you run Memento you can run maybe 1 or 2 blues on Striker pieces and you are golden for 99% of the content damage wise.

It's worth farming until it's flawless base, and you're able to change the Talent whilst keeping the attributes perfect, as you can use it on a lot of DPS builds.

Whilst you're farming for it, keep an eye out for a Ceska mask too, that's gonna come in handy in group content when enough others are running Coyotes.
tl;tldr, TL (targeted loot) Ceska, not "chest".

I can see that.. that's a good setup too.. but honestly I always missed the Lightweight M4 because I never got it in blueprints to craft.. once I got the one I wanted with Sadist.. I tried it and never looked back.. Foam is totally fine to proc anything but how hard Lightweight M4 hits I'm talking almost 300k weapon damage with fast fire rate and it's a laser

and it works so well with Fox's Prayers too.. then foam the spawn, switch to carnage and sow carnage

Unrelated but I will say: I think the Journey missions this Season are in a very good sweet-spot compared to previous ones.
In that I just turned on the Modifiers and played with a regular DPS setup, and that did most of them without having to modify my playstyle.

Also note that Incursion is mostly SMG + e.g. Bloody Knuckle, vs. open world/missions (including legendaries) tend to be more AR and a non-Striker chest. So it is useful to have CHD on the Striker chest and CHC on the Striker glove.

Lefty is good, but usually better reserved for specific roles that proc the Sledge. An ACS-12 for damage (also with expertise, if you can) is quite useful to get the stack high while still doing damage/keeping you alive.

The bosses will have a higher drop-rate for Exotics on higher difficulties, but the Directives you can add via Summit will help more.
Challenging or above is fine, but most people are going to farm on Heroic.

The way Directives work, is that they mildly increase the XP you earn, and increase the chance that an any will spawn in a TL drop, which appear outside of their regular loot pool.

Not at all. It's part of the core design. You glance over deciding what to keep, if any, and donate/deconstruct the rest. The parts and expertise you gain help towards getting better and diverse builds, min maxing and all that. It's the main cycle in endgame.

It's all optional. I mean if it's not your thing. But then you might get bored real fast. The hardest parts of the game requires that you focus on making good builds, both in solo and team play. Particularly legendary and incursion stuff.

Basically pointless, dw about it.

It's incredibly minor buffs to your guns, and basically non-existent buffs to your gear.

You see "oh, 20% weapon damage, cool!", then you realise that it's based off the base damage, as/before red cores are applied.

You gain Proficiency by either using a weapon, gear or skill OR by donating that same weapon or gear OR by donating materials. Donations are done in Inventory//Tinkering Station (press M on PC). Once Proficient, you can increase Expertise of that item (only one single item of the same category) by upgrading it with materials.

It's slightly complicated but there are great tutorial vids available online

If you don't wanna keep some items, mark them as junk. Later you can go to Tinkering Station//Expertise and hold "X" to donate them, these will count towards your expertise of those items. If you are already proficient with a few of those items (meaning at proficiency level 10), they will remain in your inventory, which you can deconstruct holding Tab.

So, 1) Sort through items, 2) mark things you don't need or bad rolls as junk 3) donate 4) deconstruct

The god rolls that you keep can later be upgraded once proficent

Note the video is now quite old and predates the expertise. Previously you need the Scorpio debuff (which has its own downsides, aside from having to level a character because ideally the WT1 one had lower damage and there was only a WT5 boost), but people nowadays just arrive with an expertise 20+ Regulus and a level 1 shotgun works fine.

Amplify player count on dark zones,
Add loot worth grinding for so people actually use the dark zone,
Add in-game events such as the ones in division 1 contaminated underground events. (mega bosses (maybe hunter kill squads) players need to group up to be able to defeat etc),
Give great loot rewards and xp to agents for defeating rogue agents and even better rewards to rogue agents when completing high rank manhunts (better rewards for higher manhunt ranks) maybe even add a dz exclusive PvP item that's good.,
Instead of an invaded DZ and 2 non invaded DZ's close 2 DZ's so players are concentrated into one DZ (to upper the player count and have less dead dark zones) | Or stick all dark zones together such as division 1.,
Add ranks that reset each season so people grind the game even if they already have a great build (Give out cosmetics as rewards),

Plz add snow if possible (Optional but cool as hell),

A good dark zone would make the game so much better for all players specially the ones reaching endgame (being endgame where the game lacks the most content)

Respectfully disagree. I think div2's pvp problems stem from these issues

• the max possible player count in any given dz is too small; in div1 even though I never had time to play dz in full sweaty pvp mode, I could at least run with a large group and help out, have some fun. In div2 it's either get smoked in 2 seconds or be the one that's doing the smoking. Even when I'm the one winning, it's just not fun
• current pvp is not able to accommodate the different types of players...I a want a mode where I can pick from predefined loadouts and just have fun

There's more than enough story/lore material in the game to do something like an 8 v 8 pvp mode where your weapons carry over but rest of the gear and skills come from predefined loadouts;
ie rogue agents vs hunters, True Sons vs Black Tusk, etc

Can you make the stats perfect with 1 recalibration and a few optimisations? If not: junk it.

You can always get more gear, and the bulk of it can be obtained super fast from Countdown anyway.
Exotics are the big exceptions of cousre.

You'll learn the little tricks over time, but the lucky thing about a looter-shooter is that you can always get a better piece, that's probably better.

Something that helped me early on was learning that your stats are the most important part, and that crit chance (chc) caps out at 60%.
Just start up by working on some DPS builds, they'll help you through most tough content.

Just to clarify: you can only get "contaminated gear" stolen if you die, it goes into a limited space bag that you need to extract via helicopter+flaregun first.

That does include the Bighorn/EB/Rav that can drop in there though.

It's pretty heavily favouring regular red DPS setups, so just use whatever.

They also give you different buffs when you kill them.

There are two strategies: One is to have another person (account) holding the level, and then you can repeatedly regain it. People used to run in an group and rotate when level 100 farming was more popular. The other is to randomly matchmake, run at least till the next checkpoint floor, and climb up this way, which is faster than run all by yourself again.

LMGs can't be used with a shield, and they have the annoying habit of suppressing enemies, making encounters take longer as you wait for them to pop back up or try to flank them

also, make sure you're comparing DPS between weapons, not just the per-bullet damage

in general exotics can drop at any difficulty but you are better off just doing challenging if you want to farm specifically an exotic mask

Not sure if you already solved this problem but I had the same problem and then I created an entry in the Steam discussions and a guy told me what he did and it worked for me, too.
He told me that sometimes hunters do not spawn if you have too much armor or protection from elites.
Indeed I created a hunter build before that had much more armor than my default striker build.
Then I switched back to my striker build that has no additional armor and no protection from elites.
I went back to the monument and saltuted in front of it looking at the monument. And the hunter spawned immediately.
So I used a striker build with 6 red cores, no protection from elites, heroic world difficulty and 2 directives on. I also did not shoot the light in front of the monument.
Maybe this helps some other guys that also have problems to spawn this guy.

I don't think that's a thing .. I did all hunters and I know the issue with Wraith mask and I never changed the build.. he did spawn after 2 tries.. I was just logging out and logging back in and getting into a different wolrd instance...

I think this hunter is completely bugged. It´s nice that this worked for you but I can tell you that it didn´t work for me.
I tried a lot of things that I found in the internet and in YouTube videos, like saluting at day, saluting at night, shooting the light off, keeping the light on, saluting to the flagpole, saluting to the monument, deactivating the directives, switching difficulty to normal, clearing all bounties...
Nothing helped.

But as I wrote, after switching back to my striker build it worked immediately...

I don´t say that this is the solution for everyone, but maybe it will help some other guys to solve this problem...

Unless you're lazy, there's every incentive to finish the Scouts.

Besides, you don't need to do all of them if all you care about is the Climax mission, since that can be unlocked with the HVT scouts

I mean they are worth doing because they give a lot of mats and other things including XP.. and scav points today are gold if you are a newish player and not a player who's been farming mules for years. But yeah, they made it so people can do the climax manhunt if they don't have time, which is perfectly fine IMO.

yea nah I'm talking about saving them up for like the Payday event or the extended season pass at the end, because it gives a lot of season xp and the progress is tied to season xp

if you do them now, you have to grind more at the end

as Kettle says, credits are cheap now for scav points, so you can do that, but honestly I never really bothered or obsessed about expertise, I would just donate junk and I enjoyed playing the game.. I'm like expertise 15 right now without even trying.. you just use different things too and it just goes up. More fun that way. Expertise aside from maybe weapon base damage boost (useful) is not that earth shattering either way. So I don't sweat it personally.. it will get to 30 as I play.

Are you doing it in a group?? Our problem was the entire group had to salute at the same time to get it to spawn. Worked perfectly as soon as we did that

for gearset - equip 6 of them and do countdown takes 1.5 countdown to get them all proficient

for named item - buy and donate

for branded item - play and donate junk or play with them

for skill/spec weapon = donate extra mats or fabrics

yea the new system puts you actively on a disadvantage by doing it as soon as it drops, and I just don't like that
now you can call that whatever you want, like endgame player nonsense, but only because they can't argue with facts, game is about being efficient and you get more out of less time not doing them right now
