Overall, you should only affix Best-in-Slot Stigmata and generally aim to get as much Atk as possible on your DPS Valkyries first. Ensure that the Battlesuit/Weapon Type matches what the Affix line demands otherwise the Atk will not apply.

Remember only Physical Damage can crit, and "crit ratios" do not apply to Honkai Impact 3rd.

beware i don't recommend affixing in general unless you're overflowing on resources and are far in the meta/development

affix increases are arguably marginal compared to other things like ranks or missing teammate/gears/astral ops (and even gacha ops aren't recommended to get)

best to use them when you know you're slighlty off and need them

it doesn't have to be so black or white though. can get something decent for a light amount too

• Each stig has two lines of affix effects you can get
• Even if you get a line that works on your valk, the values on it can range from a minimum to a max
• The max for atk is 23 per line
• that consumable lets you get max atk on both lines for one stig. They're rarely available

however at the end of the day, 46 atk from affixes may not be very much especially if you're lacking something more major. If you're speaking in this channel and aren't at the high meta yet, i rather you keep the box for now

if you don't ever plan to go to high meta and just want to see shiny max numbers on your mei stigs, feel free though.

Should I Pull AstralOps?

NOO CAPTAIN!

If you are a f2p meta player, you should not pull gacha AstralOps - only players who are retaining or trying to retain Nirvana should consider it if they have the funds (unlikely for f2p players).

Reasons:

• Dreamseeker is good enough despite being free.
• Too expensive, especially if they need SS (~20-30k).
  • AstralOps have the same cost as a gacha weapon, therefore pulling one may result in being unable to afford a Valkyrie's weapon down the line (for meta players, this means skipping said Valkyrie entirely).
• The damage and score increase they provide in Redlotus and below is often minimal and not needed to retain.

RC and TA can still see some use while you build up your roster

Save xtals for now and try to accumulate 40k, you ideally get both valk and weapon together

Most p2 valks are somewhat relevant
But you only pull the newest one for best xtals value (unless you love their character etc)

Other than that check pins to see what changed in p2
Specifically check the teambuilding one

Now to decide which valk to pull

||I don't think you can get 40k xtals before mei banner goes away and from what we know there's no new valk next patch
So you can be stranded without any good valks for upto 12 weeks if you try to get optimal value out of them.||

There's one thing you can do even if it's not ideal; you pull on mei while trying your best to get both weapon and valk, incase you don't get her weapon which is likely you can pull on rerun

Or you can save this patch and see what comes out next patch, cn side of the game should have updated if ||we get a new divine key for a valk, which can allow you to get a p2 valk for around 18k xtals||

Best is to wait a few days for the cn announcement to make any pulling desicion

There's also the better option of rerolling your account which can allow you to get mei due to the extra xtals from starter supply
But if you have emotional attachment to your current account you can still salvage it just it would take longer

• you already have FWS and HoHE for symbiosis supports for the newest grail ring type. These two and others have heavenly shift to cover law of ascension too.
  • LV isn't too particularly notable for such support roles except maybe (i haven't confirmed yet) when helping PAWS or PS dps, but you don't seem to have those either.
• dps wise, your LV isn't really well ranked so competing with her well might be an uphill struggle in higher abyss. I don't expect her abyss dps scenarios to run often for long either going by history of past dkey valks.
