The general rotation if you're using HoS as a support is this:
HoS SP farm -> other support -> HoS ult + 1 CA bonk (CA is to proc SSwords) -> DPS -> repeat

I'm bringing this up because HoHE on her own does NOT have astral ring mechanics. She gains them with her new divine key.

If you read through solon's effects you'll see they are largely dependent on astral ring. So they are actually less effective than her old set if you lack her stellar key.

If you really want to focus on HoHE, then you can work on some combination of JK, Kira, and Pardo as you mentioned to support her with her old gears

but don't expect strong results from this at this point

jade knight sushang is very sp hungry and relies on her weapon to restore it. If you lack her signature weapon and don't have nebulous duality or key of oblivion then maybe don't use her

At this point we don't expect reruns of part 1 banners but with enough time they'll prob become available in more and more ways

starting from things like spending events or battle pass to eventually being added to war treasury or dorm

if you're meta orientated you may consider restarting a new account so you can have a better jump start into new astral ring part 2 stuff

but that's not a necessity and for the most part you're just picking up where you left off. For everything you currently own that is outdated at this point, refrain from spending crystals, pri arm mats, or honkai shards which are costlier resources you would want for newer valks. Source prisms too.

i think starting from thus spoke apocalypse you have more options for valks but they're part 1 valks from a specific selection
where you can use the trial or your own

as for part 2 i believe its almost always the trial that you get
for part 2 exploration you can use any part 2 battlesuits (except stellar key valks)

Though note that FoV with a poorly build team cope Stigmatas and Feng Huang down wont do shit and any proper p2 team will do better

Is there a reason to go Fenghuang or Abyss flower first from reserve works? It seems to my eye than an atu is the best one since it saves you / lets you put off spending 1200 ether fuel (its counterparts are free) but I might be missing something

not really when pretty much all those stamp valks aren't as widely meta relevant anymore. Be mindful that your ER shop currency can be used on other things that are more time limited and are possibly more useful/relevant consumables to more recent stuff.

honestly it's hard to say how important she'll be when she's still very new but nowadays every newer gacha valk tend to be similar in quality, and it's more about getting enough of them within a close enough time span because how they tend to support each other.

I would say the main reason why the newest valk is urged strongly for newer players to pick up asap when they can afford to (valk and weapon together) is because generally they greatly outperform budget options. Patches are longer now too so delaying for a future one would be even longer of a period of working with barebone stuff otherwise.

This idea does have some caveats. Newer gacha valks nowadays tend to have no farmable key supports (this refers to the astral ring system where you want to match the ring type of the leader to the tags of the supports). So a fresh player with just the new valk will still have an awkward situation until they at least pick up a second newer gacha valk (generally the next patch valk after. Although for the impatient, i'm not completely opposed to considering a rerun from the previous patch. It may more depend on who she is though). No real way around it for now. Still prob a decent improvement over barebone options.

Much later on when your account is more developed and you reach captain lv 81 and above, you'll more want to pick up new valks and respective weapons at the start of the patch to not miss out on her coverage scenarios in abyss.

i apologize if that response was too much or too complicated but otherwise hopefully that gives you a better overview of the structure of the situation and its long term.
