the overall idea is you want to pick up as many new release valks together with her signature weapon as much as possible from this point on

eventually the older meta will fall off while you ease into the newer one

if you're f2p you're still expected to skip a valk once every few patches depending on your luck but with the higher income and longer patches, it should be as much as before

once you develop a wide enough roster of recent releases, you willl be able to strongly fare in most situations of abyss to keep afloat as high as red lotus

no need for valk or weapon dupes or gacha astral ops either

oh i forgot to say, when rolling make sure you have enough crystals early in the patch to guarantee both valk and her weapon together. So this is roughly 40k crystals.

If you don't have enough when the valk arrives but still want to try for her, then you can roll on valk banner and see if you get lucky, but keeping your crystal count above weapon pity (60 rolls or 17k crystals. Don't go below that)

If you couldn't get lucky, then the valk pity built will carry over and you can better put together the next one.

But forcing any further would risk not getting the weapon and as we have been stressing, valks without their weapons are highly lackluster in this game.

• Focus on consumables to reduce your deck size so you have less cards to cycle through.
• Shift to more zero cost cards later on when you get the passive to restore energy from playing enough cards
• you'll need to find a card to draw more cards too in order to not run out of cards to play
• there's one card that lets you dupe a card at a reduce cost. You can use it to dupe the zero cost card that gives you one energy even though you don't benefit from the reduced cost this way

I highly doubt you really need this strategy tbh. The video should be sufficient to helping you clear if it uses a different one.

the dark lord deck revolves around constantly draining your health to buff yourself until you're on your last life so to speak. In rare cases you may opt to avoid playing a card that would reduce you to zero on a disposable life if you anticipate a lethal enemy turn to sponge it. But for the most part you just drain your health > buff > nuke.

you'll eventually get more cards to give yourselves more lives as mentioned earlier

the way you're buffing yourself benefits off of multihit attacks so you'll want to focus more on cards that fires more lasers than less

for older bosses, you can check pins for the boss mechanics link

nowdays for SS bosses the competitive norm is almost always to nuke them for a 31940 score (except kasumi)

assaka's gimmick mainly involves targetting of its arms if you need to break them for more damage but this was mainly a concern back around the release period of HFS

more casually if the fight goes on too long, assaka will summon a lightning pillar that will slowly track on to you and deal alot of damage

i think you meant valk rather than op btw. Astral Ops don't have type match ups like bio or mech or what not.

basically these are all super short fights so the concept of rotating and sustaining a cycle of actions isn't necessary. It's a very cutthroat do what you need to end the fight and as a result, these strategies are very unconventional.

When you're underdeveloped and need to expect a longer fight you should either learn how the valk works at a more regular manner and/or change strategies.

• Arena is a gamemode where you can actually slow down the timer with time fractures or certain suspended animations (The game doesn't make it clear what these are though). So you may adjust your team to focus more on spamming those.

overall a f2p income can never fully guarantee all new releases

maybe they can with average luck but in the long term i think bad luck is very realistic and patches can happen where they release more than just one valk and weapon too

so it's very difficult for us to ever consider backpulling when you can never pull enough or be safe enough of the future

or even if you do save well above, there's other things to consider instead like gacha ops if you want to push forward to nirvana in specific cases

but this is all just purely mechanically speaking and meta speaking. Your own preferences matter too

and if you're fine with giving up any of that to focus more on your own agenda, especially when you enjoy the game at a lower level, then i don't see a problem

just make sure you review the tradeoffs fully on both sides

you also neglected at least 1 3rd basic seq tick (the 600% one) at the end too so you had to do extra basics after weap and still slivered after finisher lol
