That's going to be individual, or perhaps related to Microsoft's Playfab. Valheim has no real central server limitations of any kind, if you know the address it's all separate.

Trolls don't despawn, so you can return to where you found the 2-star one. Because they're so big they're quite easy to find if you keep looking around you while walking through the forest

tho usual problems are package drops

My friend built a yule tree yesterday, and when I asked how he said that he played in alpha, and one of the perks is that seasonal items are available year round to him. Is this true? I can't find anything online and a few people on this server shared the same findings.

The askvin aren't functional mounts atm, unless you are just using them to book it from A to B without any stopping and you don't mind losing them at B (unless its another base where you have a pen ready). And you hopefully don't run through enough enemies that they die

after a while a random chunk with cobbled path appeared next to our spawn, while we were still in the stone age

and later when we got bronze all of us randomly start tping across the map

we went from spawn to the ashlands and died

the only thing deciding if the mountain can have silver is its height, you can mine at any high enough mountain 🙂

you can orient a bit by looking at obsidian, it has a lower altitude that allows it to spawn than silver but if you see obsidian and the mountain continues up its quite likely that it will have some silver 🙂

One can still use the vegvisirs to locate bosses, just have to follow the direction the camera points you in. Finding the traders is the real difficulty.
