It's fascinating and the Valheim version definitely differs a lot from the violin playing real life folklore version XD Necks are my favourite of the Meadows creatures aside from Eikthyr himself and sometimes I run away from them and see how far I can get them to chase me XD

This is a female Loxxa contemplating about life.
Loxxen are creatures for my fantasy novel, inspired as it's (hopefully) apparent by the Loxes of Valheim.
Loxxen are beasts of burden and among the strongest and sturdiest creatures in Lakosh. They are quite doccile and their behaviour is akin to cows. They use their jaw-antlers to dig up wild turnips, carrots and the like, as well as for fighting, especially the males. When they're domesticated, their antlers are usually cut off, causing the creatures severe pain, if done unprofessionally.

Today I made Lox Pies for myself using lamb meat as Lox, some spices, and some cloudberry preserves. The crust is made from a barley/wheat flour mixture. I tried this a year ago and posted this to Reddit, but this version is far improved, just need to fix the slight dryness inside.
Edit:
The flavor is balanced. Slightly sweet, spicy, and savory. You can't tell i put juniper or cloud berries in it, or taste the other stuff like thyme or rosemary, but it's good enough I was told to make this again in the future after my wife stole a few bites then came back for seconds.

I decided to make Wild Boar Jerky and Sausages. I smoked the sausages after creation for a period of 3 hours. The jerky accidentally became teriyaki flavored instead of basic honeyglazed.
Lessons learned: belly is fun but i should have used shoulder too. The jerky rendered funny but was still very edible, and the sausages as a result were slightly mealy.
9/10 experience. Will do this again. My wife is now 100% on board with future sausage making.

Last year I made this drawing but for numerous reasons it took me a while to finish, and finally now I deliver the final result of the project.
It's a fanart of the first mage set when you gain access to the Mistlands.

[Work in Progress] I started a no map run about a year ago with my Dad with the express intention to try my hand at amateur digital cartography!! I made little paths everywhere and measured them by walking at a constant rate and recording the duration I traveled for a given direction and translated that to graphing paper to eventually get to this current map iteration! I'm excited to turn the map on in the game after beating it sometime later this year and comparing to the actual map to see how skewed my measurements are! Currently we are on day 2500+ and in the Ashlands!!

Work in progress! Currently studying game development at the same school as some of the devs of Valheim. We have an assignment to try and match an existing graphical style and create an artifact and of course I chose Valheim!
My idea was to create a replacement for the deer in the second biome as I've always felt that there should be a "bigger, stronger and more robust version" just like Greylings - > Greydwarfs. The moose is perfect for that, and I figured the 0-stared would be hornless, then 1-star would have the clean normal sized ones and the 2-star will have these huge ones. Whaddya think fellas?
