When a cycle ends, your seasonal characters will move to legacy. You will get the same contents be shared in seasonal and legacy so no issues on progress.

I don't think it's really normal... every major creator has stepped away from last epoch for quite sometimes due to the lack of novelty. The devs have gone silent and let's admit it: we have no clue what they are working on except for a couple of teasers from Mike. So my personal guess is that they are managing major company matters like the hiring and the hopefully new resources at the momentarily loss of player engagement. Of course I don't know for sure, it's just a guess. Other option is they ran together to Mexico with the Krafton money.

There is a pretty significant step between 300C and Abberoth
To gauge if you have enough dmg, you can check how much hp you remove before the 1st big slam attack
If you cant pop the 1st ward shield before the slam, you dont have enough dmg

Well, they should have a basic attack but not just a super fast almost non telegraphed melee swipe that does fairly equal damage to a lot of their other skills, but some skill that is on the bottom of the priority that just doesn't have a cd

Like on shades of Orobyss their basic attack is easily the scariest attack for me and it's not even close lol

for me, there is basically not much left...
D4 i completely gave up, its a completely inherently broken game with no true direction. It is not in good hands.
PoE1 is very good but a complete mess and too full with stuff it doesn't need.
PoE2 not finished yet, i will start with their final release, which may come late 2026+.
Grim Dawn, i sucked every nuance of the game already, like years and years ago, i played it soooo much earlier, i can barely think of enough content and fun even with their next xpac coming next year.

Pretty much LE is left for now... Gods Death and Reapers won't change that, not even comparable cause of the genre.

So, pretty hyped for S4 already, whenever the time is there.^^

grim dawn's early game and maps are amazing but lack of contents and old visuals were the reason I left the game.

I have no doubt, they will. Even with the thin infos we got for now, we do know, that there is much content and plans in the pipeline.

Changing the market system would also be nice, allowing people to go and do business directly with other players.

Yeah despite what some people say, there is a considerable overlap of players for LE, PoE1, and PoE2. It's best to wait a month after one of PoE's launches for LE launch. Not sure which one would be better, launching after PoE1 or PoE2. LE has fast clearing somewhat like PoE1, but has the complexity of around PoE2 (so far).

D4 could be a minor issue, but they typically launch around the same time as PoE2's schedule, and the play time needed to be done with D4 is very short, often just a week or two.

Easy campagin, easy 100 empowered, the difficulty starts for after i leveled upthe harbinger faction and tend to engage Abby n Friends. Uber Aberroth sadly is a fight, that kills many builds on base level, due to frequency of attacks.

Leveling > 100s > 300s> Aberroth + Fading Brink > time >time > Uber Aberroth

Even i'm very casual player, who wants to make different builds. i just started to feel like until empowered monos nothing really matters and "won't count", im not bothered to really "maximize" / cooking process until game forces me to start focus on defensive side if i want to survive.
Veteran boots is really bad design IMO, way better to have like "veteran mode"

Where do you miss the challenge aspect the most then? In campaign?

Well in nearly every arpg campaign is easy after you do it no way around that. Point of arpg is to grind :d

The most fun I had was playing meme builds on masochist HC mode back in the day

I almost never made it to monos at all 💀

But I'm sure I'm a weird edge case cuz I used to do stuff like trying to beat Diablo 2 hell mode with a party of level 24 heroes

Still, I have to imagine there's a happy medium somewhere and just adding masochist mode back would be huge for a bunch of us

though they did have a seperate game mode, but a lot of players who entered it complained they wanted to get out of it. and the devs didnt want to have to balance multiple game modes

i surely dont want their effort spread over two games/game modes

But isn't uber aberroth just the right challenge then? There are TONS of builds we do not have kill proof yet. Or "enough boredom" to kill him with that....

Even before Uber Aberroth, Fading Brink and normal aberroth, some builds reach their first wall there.

What keeps it fresh is every patch theres massive crafting skill and class changes

The problem isn't the lack of challenging content

It's that most content isn't challenging and, for me, discourages me from bothering to invest the time to get to the stuff you're talking about
