I don't know when this 'events' on the top of menu came, but it's really cool addition, that way organisers can see how many people might come, and we have all events at one place
However, I only see these 3 reading ones, and there's one grammar one, is 3 constraint or how does it work?

Right now the two systems - the Discord events and our bot sessions list - are separate, because it's a new feature. It would be nice if we could combine them later but it could take some time before it happens. So right now people have to make each thing manually and probably that event was missed by whoever made it.

If there's interest in a session and someone willing to organize that, we're happy to support that in any way we can, but we usually won't take someone's session idea and organize it ourselves.

So if you're interested in hosting something like this, I'd recommend describing it here in a bit more detail and informally asking people if they'd be interested in such a session. Then if you feel like there's enough interest for it, we can take care of the details.

Wenn jemand von euch gerne mit Leuten redet, höfflich ist und sich die Zeit nehmen will, könnte er Moderator des Events werden. Optimal wäre es 2-5 Moderatoren auf der Bühne zu haben die dann mit der Person die ihre Hand gehoben hat und ausgewählt wurde über ein bestimmtes Thema redet und ihr am Ende ein Feedback gibt was sie besser machen kann, wo sie Fehler gemacht hat etc. Was haltet ihr von dieser Idee?

Some of my thoughts:
• Something like this should probably target a specific level instead of mixing A's and C's and having C's listen to talks that they find boring or A's listening to talks they can't understand. While there is merits to both of these and it can be a good learning experience, it's definitely not something that everyone would enjoy.
• You should perhaps consider having a list of topic suggestions at hand. Not everyone is good at just thinking of a random thing and talking about it, so having quick suggestions to choose from could help.
• 2-5 people supervising might be a bit too many. Usually for our sessions we have one host who's in charge of running the whole thing, and occasionally one or two people just to help them out, but not actually run the session themselves. More than that, and it's just chaos with all the supervisors getting in each other's way.

There's a few problems with it but the main one is that people struggle to assign themselves the correct role even with 3 broad roles. The more detail we add, the less accurate the role assignments become, and the more people will feel stressed about assigned themselves the "correct" role and just avoiding the role system altogether.

What that also means is that even if you see someone with a certain CEFR level (e.g. A2 or B1), you don't actually know if that's correct and you still have to go through the process of checking what they know.
