if you are trying to harm vrc, just know that it will be your fault if the features come later than they are supposed to, as you are causing problems that don't need to happen. sure, things could've gone better, but you're only halting the development, and ultimately killing vrc because of something so silly. it won't change vrc's mind. it'll only hurt the community.

Physbones definitely helped optimize those types of worlds. Dynamic bones would eat 10 frames easily. Disabling them would've made everything smoother. Map design and smart culling definitely helps too

EAC used to be some garbage shit back in the day from a user perspective when I played a lot of robocraft, didnt do shit except lag the hell out of anyone trying to play a game and for other users would start screaming if they plugged in an RGB keyboard. i think now the situation has changed after its been worked on for the past decade and now that its also on proton (linux), means that it no longer has to run on ring 0 if you (as a developer) dont want it to. i tried doing some research on it and the general consensus i could come to is "it's alright," with any concerns for kernel-level access still prevalent for any games that give it kernel level access

Others do it to add malicious features - to rip avatars out of the game, crash people, forcibly change their avatars, etc. Further, some modified clients contain keyloggers, or add their users to botnets

Further, the use of modified clients wastes a lot of support's time, as people tend to report bugs caused by their mods.

and as someone who's spent hours debugging people's issues only for them to reveal they're using a modified client, and where uninstalling said mod(s) fixed the issue, I can personally attest to how irritating that is and how much time it wastes lol

I've fallen asleep a couple of times (obv not the full night or else i'd have a gian red mark on my face)
Having an active day like moving a lot or working frequently helps you fall asleep with ease on vr.
