somertimes when quests get stuck you can reset them in the log.
press escape and at the top you'll see 4 options (discoveries, catalogue, log, and options)
go to log and it gives you more info on the quests, lets you choose the active target quest, and if need be there might be a reset button (normally only for location based quests though)

i'd say you should try new things, look at what others do for inspiration, and lots of practise
there's not really anything specific you need to do in order for things to look good

Yeah, you can move the computer

But the base, as in the area your base is occupying ramins in the same place

Base area is centered on where the computer was when you claimed the base and it will remain that way even if computer is moved

They can take things that are growing and whatnot, but you can just build an enclosed base, and remove the door when you leave.

No other player can influence your base when you aren't around

Base is stored on your save file and it can't be modified by other players

Tho if you are in the same system and your network settings allow for it other players can edit the terrain and add or delete base parts

That can be changed in the network settings

Report every base at places like portals that make it physically impossible to use them, and bases made around places like crash sites, that don't allow for terrain editing, which wouldn't allow you to dig up the crates.

They can't access your storage. If I go to someone else's base and interact with their storage cube things, I'm really accessing mine.

Worst thing is that they can pluck all your crops.

If you have plants or extractors at an uploaded base then other players can harvest them when you aren't around

But when you go to your base then base is loaded from your save file that remains unaffected.

So unless someone harvests right in front of you when your games are synched it won't affect you

Just found my 1st Harmonic Camp and Aeron Jetpack and Sentinel Hand of Zeal MT. Although I am annoyed with yet another MT you can't rename. And when you try to to, the only one you have which you can name gets renamed to what you just tried.
