So basically I changed my twitch username (by a letter) and now my donation page just says "404 page not found" so I started looking online and I found on the reddit that you need to re log into streamelements and to post your username there. I did that a couple of days ago but it is still not working. Any help?

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).

AHK will only work if you have some way of logging twitch chat to a file on your local PC

Really any "twitch plays" should work for you- just instead them playing a game theyll just be outright pressing a key and youll set the window forwarder instead of to a specific window to your explorer.exe

Crowdcontrol is much more oriented towards a specific list of games and trying to get it work on anything outside of they they dont really support, instructot is more fluid and.. problematic for the streamer when chat can control your pc

You need to created a variation. Go to the alert box settings, then the subscriber alert settings (little gear icon). Below the main settings there is a section for variations. Add a new variation select community gift under parameter, and At least under condition. That should set it up to only do 1 alert and not multiple.

Also under the add new variation button there is a little check box that you want to make sure is un-checked unless you're looking to get fancy with your sub alerts

No, if you set it to at least 2, any sub gifts that are 2 or more will use that alert

Unless you make another variation that is higher than 2. For example if you want community gifts that are between 2-9 to play one sound but then 10 or higher a different sound then you would need to make more than one variation.

I've submitted a ticket through your ticket system and the link above the bot gave me, but long story short, on the SE Pay page its telling me that my Personal Information and Bank Details are Invalid and to contact support, however, they have been verified for a couple months now, and SE Pay has processed probably a dozen payments to my bank just fine, so I wanted to find out if something was actually wrong or if maybe the SE Pay portion of the site is having issues.

Just seems a bit odd that out of nowhere when I have previous successful transactions it would tell me my info is invalid (with no way to change it), and I didn't change anything

The SE Live plugin is definitely a better option than having yet another streaming software derived from OBS, as it would require adding the SE features directly into the OBS code, patching up anything that breaks and compiling it - Every single time there's an update. Which would be very time-consuming for the devs, and we (users) would have to wait a long time (weeks) for the fixes applied to OBS to carry over to the SE OBS client, which is what happens/happened to SLOBS (not sure if they are still copying the OBS source-code - probably yes).

It is "convenient" to have everything ready to use in the least amounts of clicks possible... But convenient doesn't always means good, and content creators don't usually follow the easy route to get the job done.

So my initial thoughts would be 1) you can chroma key via a filter in obs

Chroma key in OBS will be the best way to solve this problem.

If u make a video transparent in Vegas, or anywhere else, OBS will always add a black/white background for some reason.

Hey! I have kinda the exact same setup that you just described: I use fullscreen alertbox and I have my alert videos rendered with chroma key background and I just filter it out on OBS

make sure you character does not have much green on them tho 😄

I'm not using this method, i just pay for the alerts, it's a step easier. Alerts not gonna make that much difference in my stream, and i like this "Boosted alerts" pack.

But yeah, to solve the background problems, u have to add a background to your character, that is different from it, and use Chroma Key.

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

If your commands recently stopped working and you're using SE.Live and a custom bot name do the following:

1. In SE.Live, click on the hamburger menu (three stripes) at the top left of your activity feed
2. Click on Stream Settings > Custom bot name
3. In the Custom bot name field select Set custom bot name, not your already existing username (with capital letters). Note: If you already connected an account that way, the third entry will show as the account name (see image https://i.imgur.com/re4theQ.png).
4. Scroll a bit down and click on the purple Connect Custom Bot Account button
5. Log in as usual and Authorize the custom bot name
6. Back in the Activity feed, click on the Send Test Message button and check if your custom bot name starts working again

I just looked at the designs shared in #851539203887071252 and I absolutely love them. I could totally see myself use something like this.

In terms of flexibility, I'd love for them to have a custom variable width AND the ability to set the rounder corner radius. This way I could have them be nice and flush in my webcam overlay in the bottom for instance. Also, the ability to enable/disable certain features to make the whole widget look smaller/bigger would be very nice.

And obviously the ability to set your own colors/fonts for the animations, though I'm not sure if that's really easily possible.

I think my favorites are E, F and G, since they are somewhat minimalistic, which matches my overall stream design

G is really nice, as well. The only thing I could recommend as far as those overlays go would be, if possible, have the icons on the ends of the overlays and text towards the middle or vice versa

Finally, a combined option of D and G, where the avatar is circular, but in the middle; possibly with a gradient center line that fades out or with adjustable opacity. Also, if it would be possible to code in swappable icons, that would be sweet!
Either way, they all look awesome! I would definitely use them!
