There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner-type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security

Which means learning new skills, watching tutorials (video editing, how to create a transition for your stream, how to make your own panels, how OBS works and how to optimize it for your needs...)

And also. Never self-promote.

It's at the top of this channel for very good reasons - not just to clear this chat from all the "link trash"
No one will join a stream just because some random person dropped their link anywhere.

The self promote is a big one, don't go into other peoples chats or comment sections to inform them you're live, that you stream, or asking if they can raid you. If you want to let people know you stream try raiding them if you can, let it come up naturally in conversation, or if they do have a promo channel or post asking people to share their channels then share there. Again it really comes down to being an ACTIVE part of the community. Doesn't mean you need to be active 24/7 but chat, get to know people and they will eventually find out you stream.

My big one I always preach about is self awareness. What are the things that you live and breathe? If you dont enjoy what you're doing you end up like everyone who tried to hop onto Fortnite when people blew up and burning out quickly because they weren't getting the same results or ended up hating the game/category.

Not all games/categories and niches are created equal. You dont need to necessarily be first to a niche, but be "the best" in it or provide something that other people aren't. The skills of setting up hardware and software - these can all be taught and aren't inherently the most difficult things.

What is a big point is the why - why are you creating content? Is it to share your passions with an audience? To educate? Do you eventually want to turn this into a career/full time job? Do you eventually want to work in the industry? Or do you just want it to remain a hobby, something you do for fun?

Answering these whys will help guide you when you build out plans on how to go forward. And if you don't have a big idea for now? That's totally fine too!

Had the same problem, alerts were working in Streamelements editor but not when testing them on OBS, for me the fix was the resolution of the browser source on OBS needed to be changed to 1920x1080 because thats the resolution I was editing in on Streamelements editor and anything smaller was cutting stuff off

I've been trying to figure out how to create a command to time out everyone who said a certain word for a certain amount of time recently, so to time out those who copy pasta a little too much LOL. I've seen it on a stream, but the command is hidden from public

When I tap the "My Dashboard" button, it cycles through and returns to the same place. I have yet to download anything other than "StreamLabs OBS (not tech savvy and fearful of downloading stuff anyway) and I really want StreamElements. Not certain what to do with it and haven't a clue as to what "widgets" really are, so... 🤯

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

You can always reset the leaderboard; other than that I'm not sure.

I don't know how else to reset total messages sent to chat, unless one of the staff has a way to do it on the back end.

it's not loyalty. It's leaderboard.. I don't think they're connected. About a week ago this extension had it's own configuration settings with ability to remove users like yourself from it

Anyone have issues with frame drops whilst streaming warzone? All my warzone settings have been reduced. Running a 2070 with ryzen 7 3700x. Constant lagging stream with frame drops. Even tried lowering my output from 1080 60fps to 720 30/48/60 fps. Still no joy. Im getting between 110 and 140 frames on warzone and it runs really smooth. Warzone is only using 3.5GB of the 8GB on the GPU. Also download speed of 600mb and upload of 45mb
