I'm still very new to all of this, so forgive me if this is something obvious, but how do you change to 1.0 because I'm having a similar issue. I tried giving the chatbot a custom name and if I switch it to anything other than the default streamelements name it will not post to chat. Soon as I revert it to the default name commands work again. I've tried the "part/join channel" trick in the dashboard, but no luck. So I'm wondering if your suggestion might help, but I've no idea how to do that?

To set up the bot for your YouTube stream, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure your stream is public. The bot cannot join a private/unlisted stream.
2. Your stream must be live for the bot to join the chat.
3. Go to https://studio.youtube.com/, click on Settings > Community and add https://youtube.com/c/streamelements or https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjerlCIbLPQwSnYlClkjDXg as a Moderator.
4. When live, be sure to look at Live chat instead of Top chat, as Top chat will hide the bot messages.

I just wanted to say that I just got SE and when I first started to use Streamlabs it took me a good HOUR at least to setup my stream, but after being convinced to give SE a try it took me 10 minutes max to setup everything lol.

This means that there is another account that already has the name claimed. This happens when another platform with the same name creates a StreamElements account.

For instance, If "Greyson" on Twitch creates an account, it will receive the name "Greyson". Then if I create a StreamElements account with my Youtube account "Greyson, It will receive the name "Greyson-XXXX".

We can swap the numbers on the account if desired, but it will always be on 1 account

I imported my youtube stuff from streamlabs to twitch+streamelements and didnt realize I was importing Loyalty as well, now I have viewers with 1000s of hours on a newly created twitch and even if its the same people, they numbers wont go up since its a different account/name (yt to twitch), I managed to reset the loyalty points already, but not the time (and removing them manually doesnt work either, some of them wont reset, and the few that do, get the hours again as soon as I refresh the website)

Been a bit since I played rust but I'd probably tackle it with a scene with a big image simply saying "MAP HIDER" that you swap to before pulling up your map. You can set up keyboard shortcuts to move between your scenes easier. It will add a few button presses, but will keep you hidden from the stream (in theory). Sorta like a BRB or Starting soon scene.

Hi friends. I was previously using StreamFx to use the blur affect to cover in game chats while streaming but the version I have is no longer compatible and I cannot get an updated version without paying. Does anyone have alternative blur additions for SE obs?

For some reason, when I update OBS to this version, every time I try to open it it instantly crashes, but that's only with Stream Elements installed too. I already installed the latest version available in #announcements and also tested it with the one on the site. I updated my video drivers and the problem still persists. To solve it, I reinstalled Stream Elements in OBS and I'm using the old version of OBS.

Does anyone know how to get in touch with streamlabs support? I am having trouble with my current sponsor and don't know how to reach out for help. I was supposed to stream the sponsored game and promote it for 2 hours, in which I did but for some reason It doesn't count it.

StreamLabs? You would have to ask them. If it's a StreamElements sponsorship, it can take a few hours to show up. If it's been 12+ hours you can submit a ticket:

Already tried that. Like I mentioned above, even the private modes do not work for me. When I get to the StreamElements website, it's just a blank white screen. It looks like it finishes loading, but nothing on the page actually shows up.

So I did some troubleshooting on my own and it seems that it has to do with my home network. When I try to load the StreamElements website on any browser, computer, or phone while on my home network, it just loads a blank white screen. When I use my phone's data, the website loads. I am so confused...I've never encountered this issue before.

You do not necessarily have to remove pay pal, SE pay primarily just uses bank account withdrawals rather than pay pal.

The issue that I'm facing is that I have the latest subscriber [name] prompt within the overlay, but it's not tracking anything there. It doesn't display a username in preview, or during my stream, just has no name listed. Even when somebody new subscribes to my channel, it remains blank; and I'm not sure why. If anybody does have some troubleshooting tips I could try to resolve this, it'd be much appreciated.

Possibly, but SE pay works different than other donation systems since with SE pay you actually withdraw the money rather than it just depositing on it’s own if that makes sense.

It is a random facts command I have available on my website. Unfortunately, the list contained a fact that wasn't fun at all and offended one or two people. I removed the fact. They tagged SE first and Chase responded. It is indeed a 3rd party command and fact list.

If you changed your name on Twitch, please follow these steps:

1. Visit https://streamelements.com/logout and then log in again by connecting with Twitch.
2. On the right side of the dashboard page that opens, select Join under bot settings. If it says Part select that and then select Join to send the bot to the chat. Don't forget to mod the bot by typing /mod streamelements in your channel if you have not already.
3. Post your old and your new name here so that we can update your channel's chatstats tracking (must be done by staff).
