There is, you would have to use one of the widgets named: "video on command". You can configure them in the way to play audio only. The streamer I mod for is using this one: #widget-share message

I know only that it won't work if someone adds something after the command. So for example the command: "!lurk I have to go to work" will not play sound. I don't know if you can use the same command for widget and for the chat command, let me check it really quick.

I checked, it should still show your normal lurk message and play the sound.

I completed 3/4 of twitch requirements and they said I got 0.2 viewer's out of 3 average viewers when I streamed today so I went live again and I was able to invite 9 of my friends to the stream and twitch still says I have gotten 0.2 average viewers this is annoying

I dont know where to post this as it's not tech support related but there seems to be a big performance degredation while having the activity feed open in an chromium based browser, it's sometimes up to 20fps, no matter if HWaccel is on or not. If I use firefox it's mostly around 3fps, what is going on there? It's completely still but something keeps it awake.

I can repro it with Edge and Chrome which are based on the same thing. Happens in OBS too as it's chromium based. But only with the activity feed. Maybe something for the Devs to consider and check out if there is some issue with the codebase or it's an Chromium bug.

Where should I post this that is not discord so it's really seen? I mean i just use firefox but for everyone on a chromium based browser leaves performance on the table

@everyone Does anyone have an EVGA XR1 Lite and knows how to split the audio between the gaming PC and the streaming PC. I found out how to have the audio and voice chat in game to go to the stream PC in the sound settings, but once I do that, I have no sound coming to my headset. I use a usb wireless headset and I would hate to have to buy an audio mixer and with today being the internet age, it's baffling that when I go to search up a solution to this, nothing comes up.

I have the overlay all setup in my Streamlabs Desktop, and while I did actually use photoshop (actually, Pixlr because it's free) to make the overlay, i have no idea how to add animation there either. So i guess i'm kinda screwed!?!

And I have found several overlays on your site that have animation, but i can't figure out how to use them on mine.

I have also opened one of the 'animated overlays' from the Overlays Gallery, but i don't know how that helps me. And when I tried to 'Add to an existing overlay', the one i made isn't available.

The !watchtime command is directly tied to the Loyalty system. The Loyalty system must be enabled for viewers' watchtime to count up.
To enable Loyalty, please go to the Loyalty section of your account: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/loyalty
Watchtime counts up every 10 minutes alongside Loyalty points, and only while the stream is live. Reruns will not be counted.
Please note that watchtime is not tracked by Twitch and there is no way to retroactively apply past watchtime to viewers.

I have 4 boxes now across the bottom of my overlay. The 1st is a diamond shape, and i think that is for bits. If yes, then that one is done! 2. The 2nd box has a star, and I think that is for... subs? If yes, then I don't have any and that's fine! lol 3. Box 3 is a crown, and I have NO IDEA what that is for. and finally, #4. If I make a custom command to pick a random store redeem such as this:

... will listing one item multiple times increase it's chance of getting randomly picked? So if I do this:

... would that hypothetically mean that 'chat3' has 5x more chance of being picked? Good morning. Is anyone aware of a way to have an overlay from streamelements be able to start playing a youtube video when the browser source for it becomes visible in OBS? Or, if not, how I could set up a single browser source that could have the youtube video be changed remotely? My stream takes a lot to get ready and my streaming computer isn't readily available so being able to set the new assets up at a different computer would be so helpful. I have been able to do this with most things but can't figure out this piece and how to get a new selection on insta reels to show up each show... 1. Make sure your stream is public. The bot cannot join a private/unlisted stream.
2. Your stream must be live for the bot to join the chat.
3. Go to https://studio.youtube.com/, click on Settings > Community and add https://youtube.com/c/streamelements or https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjerlCIbLPQwSnYlClkjDXg as a Moderator.
4. When live, be sure to look at Live chat instead of Top chat, as Top chat will hide the bot messages.

Hi, I'm having trouble with the chatbot in StreamElements: on the dashboard on the left it says "the bot is currently not in your chat", and according to helpful vids, when I click "Join channel", it's supposed to bring up a window with the wrench icon etc, but this window is not coming up. Instead the pop up msg at the bottom says "successfully joined your channel" but the msg at the top doesn't change and still says "bot currently not in your chat". This problem arose coz the chatbot never acknowledges new followers even though this feature is enabled in the Modules:ChatAlerts. So I think my problem is that the bot is not in my chat?? But how do I get it connected so that it does these chat alerts?? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!!

I think they look good to be honest. I think doing some sort of soft gradient across the background and maybe adding a shadow to the text to make it pop would be decent looking.
