I was wondering if anyone could have insight why my SongRequest keeps going quiet. I understand the browser in stream elements will go to mute once you select "Show on Stream" The problem is the volume control for the video in stream elements disappears almost like a glitch and the music will remain at that quiet setting unless it glitches back and I can set it before it disappears. I tried over riding with OBS controls but it still only gets as loud as what the setting was before it glitched out. It worked just fine over the last few days but woke up again today to very quite music that I can't control. I have thus far- Logged out and signed back in both Stream elements and OBS. . Disabled Bot and reactivated. Reset computer, deleted songrequest overlay and reinstalled. Check Chat commands to confirm bot wasnt banned. I also tried making a separate overlay just for the song request and control browser Audio with the same result. Every time this happens I feel I just get lucky when it works but left without why.

I was able to solve the problem of the alerts freezing, in case any more happens to you, try uninstalling all the OBS and the StreamFX (if you have it).

Ahm, i don't know if it's normal but yesterday afternoon i've accepted the Genshin Impact Mobile Compaign, accepted all conditions, modified my stream overlay, widgets and QR accordingly to the directions given into an email and i've streamed genshin for 2 hours and a half. Video recovery is a tricky thing and I suggest you take that up in the OBS support guys. Since SE doesnt really do much of anything relating to OBS recording componet

But by my experience you may just forgot to record or the file did not correctly save and its almost very hard to recover. I would suggest learning how to remux videos

and start recording your videos in MKV format and then remuxing into MP4

MKV will allow you to record video even if the recording gets interrupted

and then you can later on remux it into MP4 so you can edit the videos easily

Most of them think OBS to be a 7-headed hydra before they move, but they all get used to it in less than an hour.

On OBS, I recreated my facecam, going from 3 to 10 scenes, which moves and adapts the alpha and images between vertical and horizontal formats.

Which would be impossible to recreate on SLOBS, because they removed the plugins feature from the code.

Even on their web interface, things like font sizing and timing... timing of all things

I exported the 10 second alerts from after effects, come to find out 10 seconds in after effects isn't equal to 10 seconds streamlabs time

it's more like 10.5 seconds lol. so after the animation finished playing out it started to reanimate then faded out at the last half second

had to bump it up to 12 seconds, with 2 seconds transparency at the end of the clip

set the time to 11 seconds in streamlabs so that it faded out just before it would have reanimated

i actually want to punch who ever is behind this slop fest of a "service"

it's only user friendly for the people who are going to buy the overlays on their store 1 by 1 or buy prime and "lease" them

good luck creating anything custom without it costing you a monitor and a keyboard 😂

and to think i did it all on the house because i like the streamer and consider him a good guy, he just happens to have an overlay that looks like it was made in MS paint back in 2009 when windows 7 was still being rolled out

So I didn't see "helpdesk-Streamelements" so I am going to put this hear for a friend who is trying to get into streaming. For whatever reason his setting in the overlay editor are NOT working properly:

We have tried the following to try and correct it:

-used a differnent web browser
-used a different computer
-relogging
-checking against another computer and user (which was mine and yes it works on my computer just fine)

...the only thing we didn't try was restarting the computer or turning off his current Chill-Stream.

If a team lead can please get back to me that would be great ^_^

Also we tried to grab one of the pre-made overlays themes but when he went to edit it it said it didn't exist which is also concerning.

I will try and log in as him to my computer too see if the issue persists, if he will let me and give an update.

I could be wrong, but this seems like the most likely scenario to me since when it comes to to alert messages the {amount} auto populates the $ for me/my clients. Should be the same idea for stream labels like most recent donation and your donation goal widget.

For alert messages, though, it will still show $10.00 sometimes, for example if the person is choosing to donate in USD/CAD/AUD instead of your chosen currency. It'll reflect in the auto-populated alert message.

That shouldn't be the same in the goal, since it would just convert those amounts to your currency and reflect that in the goal.

Absolutely, infact I really wasn't expecting this guys I use SE overlays all the time and they just work great, I didn't expect the system to fail after the enormous documentation and development work I saw on the site. The problem is that I can't see my goals increase apart from the hours of streaming I've done so I don't even know if it's worth it to keep working on it because I can't see the progress. For now I publish what I did but I stop with the promotion.

There is no easy way to unlink 2 owner-type accounts from each other. The only way is to make a closure request from here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/account/security

WARNING: In submitting a closure request, all linked channels within the account will be deleted and you will lose all associated data. This includes overlays, custom commands, timers and past data (tips, subs, etc). You can still reconnect with the deleted account, but you are essentially starting fresh.

Why doesn’t SE send stream reports for all streams? Due to connectivity issues I had a disconnection resulting in a restart of my stream. SE sent me a report for the 2nd very short stream follow up, not the primary 4 hour stream which would be much more valuable.

Its always sent me all the reports. Not sure why it didn't send you the initial report.

i just check my streamelements account each day when im in there to see if theres any new opportunities

paid sponsorships appear in yoru sponsorships section on the left hand menu bar.

i've only had 2 sponsors in the whole 2 years ive used streamelements so they dont come through that often

if you go into the sponsorship section in streamelements web page when you login you should see it there

if you click on more details and set up etc if will give you all the info you need

Hi everyone, I'm trying to adjust stuff on my obs layout, since I don't stream much I want to change the Controls' layout, so far I removed the studio mode button and virtual camera's, however I can't find the ID of the "Start streaming" button, does anyone know the ID to change its CSS?

would also be nice to change the order of the buttons
