My game is constantly lightly flickering when I walk sideways and it totally destroys the experience. I’ve already tried to search this up, changing settings, changing resolutions, turning off/on vsync and antialiasing in the nvidia control panel. But nothing seems to work and the issue still happens.

Hi! My husband just got a switch to play stardew valley with me. I hosted a new game under local coop and for some reason he can see my farm and it says to “rejoin” but when he clicks it he returns to the main screen. We’ve been dealing with this for over three hours now, trying every solution we found on Reddit and nothing has worked. Has anyone else had this issue or know how to solve it? Thanks!

Saves on consoles cannot be transferred to other consoles, PC, or mobile. The consoles don't allow access to them so you can't grab them and move them. Consoles of the same type (xbox > xbox, playstation > playstation, switch > switch) will transfer through cloud saves.

@megthehopeful It's kind of complicated, but involves a legal/business issue which I can't really get into, the necessity to have a whole new team work on it, and then multiple setbacks and missed deadlines due to people being unfamiliar with the code or underestimating the difficulty

Has anyone had issues with getting disconnected from Co-op? Like every three days we all get kicked from my friends hosted farm. 1 of us is on the same wifi and it is even kicking them.

@undone kindle If you transfer everything from your old phone to your new phone, your game saves should move over as well. If not, you can manually transfer your saves. As metioned above, the wiki page https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Saves has instructions for moving saves. Ignore the fact that "Transfer a save" has a bunch of sections, all you need for any two platforms is the "between two PCs" instructions except under very specific circumstances.

Stardew on iOS does not have a cloud save feature, so yes, if you do uninstall the app, your saves will go with it.

I'm using a non-modded version of stardew from steam.

I'm having a bit of an issue when it comes to talking to Harvey (husband).
I can gift him things, and have it be fine, but on this specific day when I attempt to talk to him normally, without gifting, the game freezes for a second and then fully closes. I haven't done anything out of the normal, and loading up the game is perfectly fine.

I can do everything else normally as well, such as taking care of animals, cutscenes, checking mail, farming, talking to others normally, etc.

Again, I haven't done anything to the game, and it was fine before this specific day. (Friday 12th, Summer Year 2)

I feel like I'm missing something obvious but I can't get my head around it. I want to play Stardew on my Steam Deck, managed to get Smapi up and running, with the Linux install method and the mods all work fine. However I can't seem to get my cloud saves. I found it on my steam deck Home/.config/StardewValley/Saves they are all located there, but booting the game comes up empty. I run my games on my SD card, maybe that has something to do with it? Do I need to place the save files there on my primary/SD card? It's odd to me cause I don't have this problem with other games that I play on my deck and pc, so I'm missing a small part.. tried to see where else I would need to place it on my SD card but I'm unsure. Hopefully someone here can help me?

It shouldn't matter I think rather the data is in the same place in regards to SD cards. On PC the saves are stored usually on your C: drive then you can have the game installed elsewhere so

The save backup is empty on the deck but will port that from the pc. I did put the saves again in the Saves folder, but made no difference then. I also went to the folder that was mentioned on the wiki about using steam deck with smapi, though that was following the windows installment. I found that save folder and ported the saves in there just in case lol, unfortunately didn't work haha

The switch was made with an soc, which is moreso a mobile processor similar to a smartphones. It can process less than your traditional console but more than your average phone, because of that, the performance when playing local co op will dwindle in certain areas of the game or when the screen might be overloaded with a hundreds of things

So I play SDV on the switch with my friend on her switch. We tried a couple of weeks ago to do an online game, it wouldn't connect (I'd open a farm, but she couldn't find it on her co-op search), and we tried again yesterday with the same problem. Both our softwares are up to date, we can play other online games together, and local connection works, just not online connection. Thoughts?

Would there be a way to delete objects from a specific tile? Atm I have these two objects that are like phantom objects. I can place flooring under and remove the flooring but I can't pick these up. I've tried pickaxe, axe, hoe, watering can, weapon, barehand and these two things just wont move. I do use mods but i'm unsure if this is a mod issue or just a vanilla issue. I've also tried googling the issue but "can't move item" usually returns bugs with console or mobile. I'm playing on PC. The flamingo and flower barrel are the objects that wont move.

Saves on consoles cannot be transferred to other consoles, PC, or mobile. The consoles don't allow access to them so you can't grab them and move them. Consoles of the same type (xbox > xbox, playstation > playstation, switch > switch) will transfer through cloud saves.

alright so i have a save file that is in year three fall and randomly it has be erased from the game. i have the steam cloud save file for it but no where i look on my pc or google searching it can i find where to put the file how to add the save back anything like that

You may want to create a new save (skip the intro) and get to where it saves before day 1. That may force the game to remake the save folder. Otherwise I'm not sure

Hi everyone! I have this problem on Stardey Valley PC - Steam Version, it says that my achievement of " Local Leyend " (translated from my spanish version of steam) that is the one that says " complete (or repair) the community center of pelican town" I already did this, yes i have the theater also, i have almost 100% on that file but that achievement didn't unlock on Steam, does anyone know why this could happen and how can i solve it?

How do you get into the "Autoconfirmed users" user group? There are no explanations for user groups. I was unable to make an edit, so I think this would fix it. Greetings from germany.

I tried Gamepad Mode set to Auto-detect and Force On but neither setting made SDV recognise my gamepad. I also used Reset Controls to Default (there is no confirmation sound for that btw! 😮 ) and tried all usb ports.
Any more magic I could try to do?
It is a ps2-to-usb converer+gamepad. It runs w/o issues with e.g. mednaffe (emulators)

edit: yeah gamepad works smoothly with SuperTux. so as SDV also works fine with e.g. an xbox controller my wild guess is 'exotic' usb-adapter and ... "obscure" OS (linux) is too much of a special case.
if someone has a hot idea what to try my appreciation but ... yeah ~ bummer but understandable 🙂

I've heard other reports of craftables disappearing on the farm but I don't think we ever traced the issue, since it's probably just a bug

Hello! I’m having an issue I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong or not. My boyfriend and I are married in stardew valley and are expecting a child. When I have the child I have the option to name it, so I named it Maple. When I walk over to the crib my boyfriend sees “Maple is sleeping” but I see “Baby is Sleeping”. What’s going on 😭😭

Hello, I have a problem, when im in game, there's slight stuttering/screen tearing in the top of my screen and it is a little distracting, I've tried vsync on and off and installing and restalling and setting the game to high priority and disabling cpu core 0 and all of that, wondering if anyone has a similar issue or has been able to sort it

So when i go on windowed mode, and fullscreen it, apparently it forces vsync from what i seen from a reddit post (i dont know if its true but from what im seeing i can believe it), only thing is, i dont really like the windowed mode, i usually play with fullscreen but that causes the issue

I am not sure if this is the right place, but I am about to throw my computer because I am so frustrated. I have played Stardew before with these mods,but rebooted my computer .I downloaded evrything, did everything like i did the first tim and every mod worked. I use Vortex and I downloaded everything said needed. When I open the game with Smapi the mods are there and looks like they are in the game, but then when im in my game there is nothing.

Im having some odd issues with my crops not growing in my game.. is this a known issue? Im currently in year 1, day 20 of summer, on monster farm. I planted Melons on day 1, and theyve only just now grown/ theyve been watered every day and most of them (not all) have only just grown now. There's also blueberries and corn that were planted on day 1 , some of the corn matured before the melons, and the blueberries still havent matured
