Honestly what i do to motivate myself to fish is to set a goal that's kinda out of my reach with how small the bar is. Since your bar is so low id recommend just fishing at the cindersap forest river or the mountain lake, at the point you're at sure you already have enough money as is but during the night market theres 3 more fish limited during those 3 days so you should probably get the skill up and not wait until y3

to be honest the only way to improve is to suffer through the early levels(or you could even make food that gives fish bonus which increases the green bar which will make a difference because you have more space to keep the fish in) and catch hard fish cause its kinda fun
