Special Community roles (Artisan, Jukebox Junkie, and Mod Author): You can ask for your special roles to be removed as a one-time courtesy. If you want that role back within two months of asking (or within two months of leaving the server and rejoining), you will get the role back. After two months have passed, though, you will have to re-earn that role. Mod Authors: If, during the two month grace period, the community list on the wiki is scrubbed, you will have to re-add your info to get the role back.
Temporary event roles: Temporary event roles are awarded based on event participation. If you do not want the role, do not participate. Requests to remove these temporary roles will be denied.
Level roles are earned by chatting. Each message you send will earn you a little experience towards the next level. You gain XP once per minute and level up after gaining XP 30 times. We can tell if you spam, though!

Visit him at #governors-mansion to check your levels and experience with the /level command.
If you leave the server and rejoin with the same Discord account, your levels and basic roles will be saved. Contact staff about any special creative and community roles, as well as XP transfer requests if changing to a new account.

This role is a gradient colour based off the in-game stardrop, and is earned by reaching level 2000. Only the most seasoned of members have managed to get this far.
