Whilst yes you CAN unlock nearly everything (I actually think everything but not certain) The quests do a good job of leading you down the correct path of unlocking. Most things are unlocked by picking up a requisite item first and if you get a later item before a former item, there is a chance you'll miss something needed for an unlock.

i really enjoy the game, tough i think the skill tree could be more elaborated. It would be cool a Alchemist tree and Bard tree. Play instruments could actively buff parties since there is little supportive magic in the game.

You absolutely can do that but be aware some quest objectives will not be optional to progress. There are crafting stations and NPCs that can only be found in highly unusually places and if you don't unlock them you won't be able to move on.

Alchemist tree is very viable in enshrouded too. Usually they heal more with potions, toss potions on friends, have benefits under use of elixirs. Game already has a skill that improves stun time with projectiles. They could extend to improved dmg or spend less bombs per rank.

I'm building pretty much all red (focusing con) whilst grabbing the 15% dagger damage node, the generic crit chance at Ranger, and the wand projectile nodes, water aura, and mass destruction

I think part of it is also propagated by just like... human psychology and nationalism. You always see it whenever "bad history" is taught to kids, rather than being seen as lessons to be learned, people lobby and yell about it being "anti-american" or whatever. The same thing has been happening in Germany, which is actually quite good about teaching WW2 history in their schools, with many modern Germans complaining that kids are being taught to be "ashamed of Germany" and that they should stop teaching it.

Most of the best games ever made are "indie" titles in my opinion.

I'd compare it to the movies. Like is a big hollywood blockbuster a fun experience that almost everyone would like? Yeah. But I'd major that most people who love cinema would say their favorite movie is something from a much smaller studio, like a24 films and stuff.

Indie games have a lot more variance in quality, but man they really strike gold sometimes.

Being publicly traded is the real problem. Publicly traded companies (at least in the states) are built around the concept of chasing quarterly profits, always making the number go up. And that's a philosophy that fundamentally doesn't make any sense in an industry where products literally take years to create.

Like these days big budget games should spend anywhere from 3-7 years in development, but if the shareholders only want to see a spike in profits every quarter, you have a huge perverse incentive to massively rush deadlines and push things out way before they're ready, which creates a death spiral.

If I ever see a company go publicly traded I just assume their games will suck from that point on (on top of how horrible they will probably treat their employees)

The upside of phone 2fa is not really for normal users, but for platform security. It's way harder to spoof a lot of phone numbers (to make spam accounts) than it is to setup a bunch of accounts with authenticator apps.

So you're making it more likely that users won't be able to make a bunch of alt-accounts/spam bots when you require a phone number.

Credit score in general might be a piss poor system but it is intended to be a representation of how reliable of a borrower you are.

Someone with a high credit score is less likely to default on a home loan for instance. They've shown reliability in repaying a debt in a structured and uninterrupted fashion, and it also shows that commitments they make to paying off borrowed money are something they honor. Low risk for creditors makes them a more appealing person to loan to because they still make money off of them.

Someone with a low credit score has missed payments, defaulted on loans, entered bankruptcy, has too much available credit in Lines of Credit compared to their income, etc. These people are "high risk" because either history shows they are not reliably able to make their payments on time (or at all), or the creditors risk not recovering the money they loaned out when they default or simply stop paying and try to disappear. They may be more likely to commit credit fraud. (I have my own opinions on this even being a crime in certain circumstances but moving on.) As a result of being high risk, that person will pay more for the same loan amount than a low risk individual to compensate for the fact they are a bigger risk of not paying off that loan.

The system is imperfect and fundamentally flawed, but also no viable alternatives currently exist for the established system. It ignores nuance and situational issues such as unanticipated medical debt (americans in the chat represent) or other large expenses that were unplanned or too large for the average person to reasonably pay back or off in a reasonable amount of time.
