Did you just come back to the game after some time away? If so there was a patch that added space to bags (and redid them). So just take everything out, remove the backpack, make yourself a new one, and it should all be back. With extra slots 🙂

Addition of a small rustic greenhouse to the farm.

Church :

• Addition of a church pulpit and an organ
• Replacement of the ceiling with bronze
• Several minor improvements

Waiting for a solution (other than stacking cups and banners (no room) for the organ pipes.

The next step is a sewer system, stable, sawmill and a rework/refresh of mage tower and i will add detailed alchimist zone in the secret room.

Awesome build! I particularly loved the organ (fabulous!), the graveyard (great organization and loved the overall look/feel), the windmill (sure wish we could rotate windows off 90 too though...but great use of the "beam" inside), the salon (such amazing haircutting chairs you created!)...just lots and lots of creative detail work. some minor work on the back side of Fort Kelvin. the reason i have two flames so close together on the backside, is because im in the process of moving the flame from the gate to the one back farther. the gate at the fort itself im still having trouble with trying to figure out how to get it looking proper.

Soon i will rework/refresh the decoration of the mage tower, and rework some rooms in the keep, i will add detailed alchemist zone in the secret room, and add a crypt to the Church. I'm going to add a complex sewer system on several levels with a district for thieves, beggars, etc., stables, a sawmill, and later expand the city with a second wall, a jousting arena, a square with a scaffold, and a few shopping streets.

And yes, for the mill, I tried to place the windows crosswise so that they weren't aligned, to make it look nicer, but it was tedious, so I gave up 😄

I thought i'd share some updates to my village build. I'll be moving my base soon but I'll come back and finish once I have everything unlocked.

here's a picture of the tavern, fields, farmer house. statues infront of my house and blacksmith house that I shared before.

The base in the back will probably stay as is, a reminder of the time when all shroud was deadly, and all i had were sticks and stones. I'll spice the bridge up with a gatehouse on the middle pillar to see how well i do while not just copying or finishing existent architecture and get some building momentum going.
My 'real' base will be a terraced hill above Peaceful acres, opposite the HH side. But other than a mental image of it, i haven't actually planned out anything yet, though the castle block will be my main material at ground level.

Hello, and here is the rework of the interior of the mages' tower. It was a lot of hard work. It was one of my first constructions with few resources while playing the game. It might reach similar numbers after upgrading but it depends on your stats and dmg type bonuses. I feel like the greyed out +3+3+3+1 don't seem to take your stats into consideration properly. Like in Elden Ring, where the DMG scaling based on your stats is layed out to you by A,B,C letters, in Enshrouded your weapon dmg scales as well but with named things. You may have a bonus to shroud damage for example but not ice damage. Upgrade this thing once to see what I'm talking about. It should get more than +3

Yesterday, I started on the first building and already created the floor plan and rough room layout. I wanted there to be several levels so that the building would look exciting later on with the decorations, but also not too winding so that all the important rooms could be reached quickly from the fire altar. This would be the first floor.

NEW POOL --- so... 3rd time is the charm !!! i extended my inner pool, for it to flow under the house walls and into the exterior Patio, where there is another staircase, letting me DIVE under the slab, to get to the other side ( since swimming under water, will be a thing, Yessss ) - so i calculated the height of standing-up in my pool, with water up to my shoulders and still be able to breath in an air-pocket under the slab ( i´ve got to think about the wellbeing of my NPC bad swimmers 🤣 ) --- i lined up my blue blocks as an height marker for now, but they will be replaced with 🚰 WATER blocks ( flowing across my living room, from the Well ) and i even saved a small corner by the stairs, for a WARM WATER BOILER (but i´m still searching for the perfect items to build that contraption, without looking like a fireplace 🔥 ...wish my luck !!! 🛠️

I don’t disagree that there should be more ethical framework in AI image generation to prevent blatant theft; but borrowing a style/stylizing an image based off an artist or their work is hardly stealing. I studied a decent amount of art history as part of my undergrad degree, and the reality most art is, to some extent, learned from or copied from existing work. It is incredibly rare for an artist to do something truly unique and original which is why not every artist reaches any significant degree of accolade. And thats not to knock skill or talent; but original style vs learned/borrowed/copied is something that most people fail to acknowledge in the “anti AI image” discussion. Most of us could walk through a renaissance exhibit and not be able to distinguish between artists - because they all more or less copied one another and learned from similar methodologies and artistic principals. Occasionally someone would break the rules and their work would stand out, but rarely. Like everything new, some people are going to react with adversity. But there can be responsible use causes for AI image generation, with the appropriate ethical framework in place.

That’s true, an artist will always reference something they’ve seen before that is unavoidable, whether that thing is something they witnessed irl or a painting/photo/3d model they saw somewhere; being inspired by a style is not what was implied. If an artist takes the work of another and alters it, then claims it to be different and therefore their own new work without an agreement from the artist that original work is from, they are preforming theft. Why do we call out artists for doing that but think that it is ok for people to train generative AIs on art that also has no such agreement? (This is not me claiming them up there is the one training it, but using is supporting which is actually what endorsing is) Unless that person that trained it got in touch with every artist of every photo used in the training and worked out an agreement to use their work, paid or otherwise, it is theft.
I agree that eventually there may be responsible uses for AI in this regard, but currently that unfortunately isn’t what is happening.

Would it be different if it were a human simply copying styles of other artists though to produce the image? I don’t think so? Are there instances where image theft has occurred? Surely. But, at least in the case if the above image that seems like a stretch. The user didn’t hide or deny that it was AI, and it was clearly done with very specific prompting and i would wager that it created that image and stylized it based on multiple references just as many artists would if asked to create that image with the same prompt and description of style. I think another example of stylized AI vs recreating works is applying an AI filter over your own image. I have a picture of my dog and i that my husband ran through AI to give it a Studio Ghibli aesthetic. The image is our original content. It has been stylized in the work of SG. Is that theft? Or is that doing what lots of artists do on a regular basis which is recreating styles they appreciate and like? Again, not saying the current state of AI image creation is ideal or perfect, probably far from, but i think its not as inherently bad as it is made out to be. I think there are instances of both what you describe as theft occurring, but also plenty of examples of AI simply stylizing based on reference points. Its certainly an interesting topic to debate, but we should probably migrate to #off-topic with it. If people are genuinely bothered by something, the best advice is to submit feedback. If the user case is strong enough the devs may heed the feedback. But i personally think blanket banning AI content is counterproductive to peoples ability to self-express in ways they may not otherwise be able to. (And for the record i am not personally a big fan of AI in general)

it may be satisfying to yell at the ai user, who, in vast majority of cases, was given a shiny toy and is playing with it. the whole theft thing occurs when the model is trained, when entire portfolio of artist XY is fed into the machine, tagged and weighed without artist XY asked for consent, given credit or compensation (and no, it does not learn like a human. it does basically nothing like a human) otherwise the 'style of XY' or even more appallingly 'style reference 856489764' could not even exist. it is perpetrated by ai companies or lora makers and such. and it happens on an industrial scale, instead of just a few plagiarizing individuals (which is unpleasant, but very manageable). that is why it is suddenly a problem.
and, i'm sorry, it is not self expression. not in the slightest. (the prompt is) everyone has ideas, the art bit comes when one expresses that idea in their own clumsy way for others to perceive. prompting an ai picture is a process almost identical to commissioning an art piece, instead of making it. telling someone else to express it for you based on a description, a doodle, adjusted with feedback. at best the position is similar to an art director (if they actually know what they are doing and what is happening on a technical level) and yea, inpainting, and hours and hours hitting refresh.. still not even close 😄

Hi all! I'm crazy obsessed with this game and have been playing less than a week. I made a basic house (was just for me, then...crafter NPCs cramped my style, so they get their own areas soon). I got goats today and spent the day building a goat pen. Kinda disappointed the roof doesn't slope at lower angles, but this one came out okay and houses my goats just fine.

You should try to finish it. This ship I've build is not the first version. I had have build one and I do not liked it so I made it completely new. It is not perfect, but I like it now and that's the only thing which is important. You have to like your things. If you are satisfied, you made it right.
