We are effectively running test-builds, that we have Early Access to - best seen as that and not rely on any location or mechanic or block longterm.

Its also better for testing to restart game now and then to test progression-flow anew while things are rehauled

Why should they feel the urgent? If someone would miss out on that said PoI he wouldn't even notice until he researches. Also, besides Dungeons, there 're no PoIs that urgent right now that you'd miss out on something if your base happens to be there.
Also, for that there are no-build zones for. I know, things may change, but not in a scale right now that you'd say they need to overhaul entire empty locations in the open world. I think some of them are there on purpose (Even if somewhat spare)

I was testing how far I could go in Revelwood Hollow Halls today, and ended up going up to boss room. Faced some panic moments toward the end, but over all I think that went well. I use to stress a lot when it's dungeons, be that solo game or mmo.

Actually not. But have you moved from snow to grass? Usually the appearance is saved from the dirt you started with and an attempt is made to transform the appearance into a different one.

That is true for now, but it may be safe to assume that we get more pickaxes down the road that will continue to be even better and provide resources at a faster pace.

Well, adding another step to a process is a good way of making it take longer and thus being more expensive. I've used dirt to terraform a lot so for me it isn't an issue.

I think durability was changed too far to the break side in the update. Harvesting a dozen aloe breaks an iron axe (300 durability). And there's not enough inventory to take multiple weapons to get through short periods of fighting; too many trips to get them repaired. It's breaking up the immersion a lot.

Best places to farm wolf meat is from the Scavenger matron bosses, let them spawn continuously and when you see enough then kill them all, if you're an archer use explosive arrows, for a mage use fireballs, if you're a pure melee character then use bombs.
